Summary:
The Hand of the Crownbearer is a character-raising adventure game in which you develop the protagonist while gradually building relationships with your chosen characters.
The game features an extensive branching structure and a relatively high level of difficulty. (A single playthrough takes about two hours.) Your choices are reflected in the story in subtle and detailed ways.
In terms of narrative tone, the story is deliberately understated. Although it is a fantasy set in another world, there are no demon kings or empires. Instead, you will spend your time entirely within the castle, constantly entangled in human relationships - nothing more, and nothing less.
