    It is an amazing game. Some people say it's 2d Minecraft clone but it's not. Minecraft is focusing on survival elements but this game doesn't even have hunger mechanics. It is all about fighting with bosses and crafting or finding new, better weapons. There are different ways to play like melee, ranger, mage, summoner. I have hundreds of hours in this game with my friends. Definitely worthIt is an amazing game. Some people say it's 2d Minecraft clone but it's not.     Terraria is a great game which can give you the great feeling of defeating bosses while you can explore and find! With the Journey's End Update long time players could find new items and discover new paths of defeating new enemies. The TmodLoader is so easy to get via steam, you don't have to reinstall it for updates anymore or seek through endless folders to find it!     This game is one of the greatest games i have ever played. The spritework is great and gameplay is amazing. Its possible to squeeze hundreds if not thousands of hours out of this game. The music is AMAZING, the bosses are also really fun to fight like the brain of cthulu and plantera and most things is quite wacky and not taken super seriously which is what i like in games.     The game is accessible. The game is enjoyable and simple. It is only an eight out of ten. It doesn't need a whole lot of explanation. I need to play the game more to give a rating I am confident about. I cannot delete this review. Sad

    Excellent casual game to play with the girlfriend. In the beginning it was difficult to understand how to play since the sandbox style game lets you figure things out on your own, and for the longest time I could not figure out how to build a simple house (all pixels need to be covered), but once we got the ball rolling it was a jolly good time!

    This game is pretty fun and im always finding new things about the gme and the mods are really fun to play and there is a very good variety of ways you can play modded or unmodded terraria which always makes it fresh in my eyes the only reason its not a 10/10 is because the bosses seem to be weird when it comes to difficulty

    masterpiece, perfect rpg where you have a lot of freedom, when choosing classes you can mix them, change them any time and that works so well, background art is beautiful.
    bosses are all fun, except for Golem he is too easy.

    Excellent game with an enormous range of items, bosses, monsters, and biomes. Very fun to play with friends. I haven't experienced solo gameplay.

    Once you start playing it, it teleports you into a giant world to discover, full of enemies to defeat, weapons to use, armors to wear and biomes to explore.
    It's true, Terraria can be a bit difficult in the beginning because there are lots of things to do! The start is indeed a slow burn, there's no tutorial in the game, but you will be able to get the    Terraria is an enchanting game.

    Terraria has really always been one of my personal favorites, watching the game only grow and get more complex with each update. The game is almost like a roguelike in a way I feel, each trip you make from your base into one of the many diverse biomes filled with unique loot and enemies.     Why are game critics stupid? They gave it a low score because it was a "Minecraft" clone but in 2D. They have the same genre but not the gameplay. Terraria is a game that just made me grind. It's so fun i actually had more time playing than me studying. The gameplay and graphics is very good. Don't even ask about the Soundtracks, cause holy **** it's the greatest game soundtrack ive ever heard.

    I have been playing terraria for years. Initially on my Xbox 360 I played this for hours. I then went to the pc version that had more content. I have sunk hundreds of hours on pc alone and I still find more items I've never seen and there are continuous updates years later. For 10$ this is one of the best values in gaming. Terraria…I started play Terraria with my friends on 1.2 but we’re didn’t know there was a hardmode and hell.But game was too cool.After beating skeleton we’re started decorating our house.I tried to watch some Terraria videos and learned that we has got old version.I with big happiness runed to my friends to say that Terraria updated to 1.3!But when we played it my friends and I didn’t like new interface and control and continued to play 1.2.But I continued to play both versions.Learned about hardmode and we beated all 1.2 bosses but I beated moonlord and friends was in shock and tried to complete terrary without me… Expand

    My best friend started playing this because her laptop can't run **** and was loving it soo she told me to try it out... I was in the middle of my 5th WItcher playthrough soo i decided to give it a chance.... 150 hours later i am here reviewing it. SImply amazing, very fun

    Best sandbox game ever. It's in no way repetitive since you can start new games and challenges with different kinds of classes all over again without getting bored. The developers even implemented an unofficial mod loader (tmodloader) so people can enjoy new content even after the final update. (There were dozens of content patches after they announced to not add any new contents)

There are only so many sword swipes over my character's head before I get bored. Minecraft inspires the graphics in Terraria. It is a pixelated universe. So, those that love this game generally like pixelated video games. It seems like a new thing - going back to the original pixelated games of Mario Brothers. Terraria generally has a young audience that plays it, though I think a handful of adults love it. I am an adult and played the game for 80 hours. I oddly was unable to past even close to the majority of boss battles in 80 hours. The game was tough for me to play - which I think it's too complicated. If an adult gamer cannot easily play this game, then how will children win in this game? Maybe I was not good at this video game.

    On the positive side, the game has a very upbeat feel. Everything is very colorful, and it is all about playing for fun. Constructed with unique and creative gaming mechanisms, Terraria is a path blazer in the video game community. I have talked to several kids who have played it, and they all love it. I have yet to meet someone who does not just adore this game. So, I think it is perfect for the kid gamer. I think the kids like this game because it is very playful. It is a challenge in hand-eye coordination, but kids are often up to this game's challenge! This video game is not something I would continue playing, but I certainly give it a nod. Игре ещё есть куда стремиться, и я надеюсь, что она станет только лучше!Очень крутая игра! За 200 часов не разу не наскучила.     لازم تجربونها ومحتواها واسع وأيضا فيه مودات لها بستيم جدا ممتازة وبالنسبة لي تتفوق على ماين كرافت ببعض النقاط البسيطة

    Terraria is a love letter for its fans and gaming in general. Terraria is the first game I've ever bought on Steam, when I was 12 years old, back in 2012, watching some YouTuber talk about it. I've introduced this game to all of my friends, it was the first game I completed with my brother and the first game I played with my wife.
    The game is basically pure gameplay, but, wow, what    Terraria is a love letter for its fans and gaming in general.     The game is basically pure gameplay, but, wow, what gameplay! The soul of this game is character progression, and the whole world progressing with you.
    First, you start with the weakest tools and weapons, very weak and without almost any magical aptitude. You are very vulnerable to all enemies and the game is very scary at that point. But quickly you start finding better equipment, you start to increase your health, and you start to become a very powerful being, that has shaped the whole world for its purpose.
    The game is very thrilling, you fight many bosses, each with completely different AIs and strategies to defeat.
    I will forever love Terraia, and I hope the team behind gets all the praise they deserve from the gaming community.    … Expand

    Please help im addicted to this game.

    Awesome soundtracks. you really want to just bang yourself to your keyboard because of how good the musics are!
    Boss designs and progression is also really god damn good and fun to go through

    Graphics doesnt matter, Gameplay is. and its good
    100% recommended. you will get addicted to this game at some point.

    i **** love this game there's so much to do i didn't like it at all when i first played cause it doesn't;t do a very good job at explaining things but then i decided to use GOOGLE and the WIKI which made the game playable the whole game is just so fun ugh

    Terraria is my favorite game of all time. There are many unique bosses, enemies, and weapons in the game. It has a bit of grinding but once you get what you were grinding and waiting for it's absolutely worth it. Mining, adventuring, crafting, and everything in this game I love. For only 10 dollars this is a must have.

    I don't know what else I could say, this game is literally a masterpiece, practically flawless, only flaw I could think of is understanding what to do at the start, but once you pass the start, it's smooth sailing from there, the game is amazing, truly a masterpiece, it's the highest positive rated steam game for a reason

    honestly a really good game, it is so addicting and replayable i literally have 5000+ hours on it. the graphics are pretty decent and you dont need a beefy pc to run it. it also takes up almost no space and the mods are really good and you can easily make one yourself all around good game. nothing bad to say honestly

From its well designed progression, to its creative and fun weapons, to its brilliant music and boss design, to its refined building and crafting systems, this game succeeds in every area a 2D sandbox should. The unbelievable amount of free updates this game has gotten (and is stillDefinitely in my top 10 favorite games. The ultimate 2D sandbox. There just isn't a reason not to try this. The unbelievable amount of free updates this game has gotten (and is still getting!) is evidence enough to show just how much of a labor of love and passion Terraria is, and it's in depth modding scene that is integrated into the game itself only adds to this. This game is just barely not a 10/10 imo, due to its lack of an integrated guide. You will have to use a wiki to get to the end of the game, there is no way around it, but due to the way it's designed I don't have a big issue with that.… Expand

    Very fun and has endless amounts of replayability. If you get bored, good news! The devs released an official mod launcher, so you don't have to risk computer viruses and convoluted setup. Just click to install the mods you want and play! The game and launcher are even still receiving regular updates, unlike some games. *cough* TF2 *cough*

    Just hours upon hours of different and interesting stuff to do, but if you play for 800+ hours and have nothing to do, you can play modded which is as good as original game and play for almost forever

    With over 100+ hours and counting on Steam this game made it to my favorite game. I may have not beaten every boss or explored every biome but jesus christ this is amazing.

    Terraria is one of the best sandbox games. Terraria has some Minecraft spirit, however the focus of the game is on fighting and crafting, so it involves more action. The best way to enjoy Terraria is to play it with a couple of friends on your own server.

    A lot of games tried to copy Minecraft – or at least participate from its' success. But this two-dimensional take on the well known formula is the only game that is able to step out of the shadow of the indie phenomenon that inspired it. It leads you into a unique world full of creative magic.
