That's right, you only need one button (or keyboard key) to play the whole game. But don't let that deceive you, this ain't some cheap and cheerful shovel ware, no siree, because we've really put that beautiful A button to use, in fact we're getting as much mileage outta that baby as you can imagine.

Likeable WarioWare-clones are rare, especially on non-Nintendo platforms. While not all of Super 56’s mini-games are winners, there’s more than enough clever one-button challenges. More importantly, there’s incentive for replay, ensuring that the game can hold you attention for longer than a single weekend.

I doubt Super 56 will set your world on fire. It’s an enjoyable and entertaining game, but it’s no WarioWare. On the other hand, it’s way cheaper than WarioWare. In fact, I’d say it’s priced perfectly for what you’re getting. So, if you’re down for more microgames, Super 56 is an excellent off-brand choice. Onion Soup Interactive brings its own special charm to the genre, even if it could perhaps do a bit more to stand out.
