    Combat system is pretty bad. Level desing feels so wrong. Graphics are not looks so bad but it feels like they picked wrong choices while making the main character. World design and main character not matches in this game. When you start the game, it feels like you are controlling a moving png character.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. El juego posee un apartado gráfico y sonoro bellísimo junto a unos combates sencillos.
    La dinámica de la horda es bastante interesante y aporta variedad al juego.
    Comienza con buen pies para luego ir torciéndose : Los combates pasan a ser un caos en el que golpeas y esquivas sin apreciar mucho los ataques.
    La difcultad de este juego radica en tirar legiones de esbirros a la cara y en cuanto a los jefes los primeros tienen mecánicas divertidas pero luego pasan a ser tediosos y aburridos de hacer.
    He jugado con la ventaja de que los jefes son más difíciles y la he acabado quitando por puro aburrimiento y ganas de acabar.
    El mapa de la catedral es frustrante y muchas muertes seran porque caes al vacío, se siente injusto en gran parte de las ocasiones.
    El final siguiendo el camino de destruir las esquirlas es bastante soso y decepcionante.
    En conclusión, los gráficos no son todo

    You know what I like? Challenging games. You know hard and demanding, but fair and fun. Sundered is not like this. This game shut you in little room and throw horde of baddies at you, and you can't even tell what the hell happen. You can't fight with them, becouse combat system is so poor and limited, that you only mash one button, until your thumb is bleeding. This is not how diffucultYou know what I like? Challenging games.     This is not a metroidvania game, it just has the map structure of one. The combat is more like a fly swatting simulator. You don't clear out areas like you would in a proper metroidvania. Instead, random hordes of baddies swarm you and you have to swat them down in bunches.     En effet, nous tenons à remercier l'Epic Game Store pour filer régulièrement autant d'étrons de ce (mauvais) genre -comme Sundered- et cela gratuitement ! de quoi "apprécier" ainsi à leur juste sous-valeur tous ces étrons bricolés par les merveilleux **** développeurs indépendants !

    Et quelle "fraîcheur" encore une fois ici... bah tiens, un jeu de plate-formes (oh dis donc !) en 2D bien sûr et... 256 couleurs -à vue de nez. Avec des ennemis, des tas d'ennemis, des boss (oh la la !) et une difficulté très élevée afin de recommencer souvent (pour les "vrais" qui ont trop de temps à perdre sur des merdes de cet acabit !).

    Donc voilà, inutile d'en rajouter : on ne tire pas (davantage) sur une ambulance, une épave et un tel sous-produit boulotté par quelques stagiaires pas doués (une équipe d'autistes peut-être, qui sait ?). On fait comme d'habitude, on tire la chasse. Et on remercie l'EGS en attendant le "prochain".

    Imagine if somebody took everything great about hollow knight and then ruined ruined it by constantly interrupting your exploration by throwing constant waves of enemies at you.     are completely unbalanced, as these small little pests cover the floor and charge into you, presenting a constant issue when you need to focus on other, more dangerous enemies, such as a flying mech, burrowing enemies, and several laser firing drones all at once. Combat just devolves into you dodging constantly. There's no back and forth with the enemies, just try not to die. And whoops, dodging requires energy, which you also need to perform abilities. So have fun balancing that.

    These random fights are sometimes designed to not be fair, forcing you to die and spend skill points to make yourself stronger. This destroys any pretense of skill by creating a situation wherein if you just die enough then you'll get stronger. This might be considered a good thing, but it's very annoying that no matter how hard you try, you'll die just because the game felt like screwing you over. Not because you lacked the skill, but because you lacked the stats.

    A good premise, solid gameplay and a decent art style is marred by the ever looming threat of random ambushes amd unbalanced and repetitive gameplay. I really want to like this game, but said issue makes the game a slog to play through.

    Incredible, Thunder Lotus impressed me again, gorgeous game with fluid animations and an excellent art direction, simple, fluid and enjoyable gameplay, as if not enough the game has a unique universe with lots of interesting history and many hours of gameplay, excellent

    This games art is amazing to look at, hand drawn aesthetics look awesome. When I read that the levels where going to be procedurally created I was definitely skeptical but honestly it adds more of a challenge. The waves of baddies that storm onto to screen and attack you can get intense, but it keeps the platforming interesting. I have only played a few hours and in those hours I was put my gaming skills to the test, I am playing on normal and it is pretty brutal. The only way to upgrade your skills via skill tree is to collect orbs from dead baddies and once you die you can spend those orbs to upgrade your skills. So in a way you get rewarded for dieing because you become stronger. Only thing missing is a heavy metal sound track. All in all pretty fun game, you should check it out. Im playing on PC runs really smooth. Expand

    True masterpiece, I’m in love. One of the best games I played in quite a while. And definitely the best metridvania I have played.
    Its gorgeous, fluid and enchanting.
    Once you cross the first hour, you are hocked for at least one playthrough. Fun combat, level generation and treasure hunting keeps it always fresh. Ahh and the cannon... omg.. best BFG ever. Thank you Thunderlotus. One

    Sundered has an amazing atmosphere and addictive gameplay, I love the story being told in little pieces by the upgrades and the unreliable narrator. The exploration system will probably not please roguelike purists, but I was quite pleased with the way it mixed metroidvania aspects of it.     По мне идеальный платформер, ни чего лишнего! Разработчики молодцы! Epic Games красавцы, спасибо за бесплатную раздачу! По другому я бы про данную игру и не узнал! А для разработчиков, в поддержку куплю данную игру на PS 4!!! Всем любителям данного жанра, советую от души, классная и приятная игра!По мне идеальный платформер, ни чего лишнего!     Sundered: Eldritch Edition es un juego que está muy entretenido. La base es un metroidvania con mucho más combate del que suele ser habitual en el género. A eso se le añade una capa de rogue-lite que hace que los mapas varíen de una vez a otra, que introduce la muerte como una mecánica en la que gastas experiencia para volverte más fuerte y más o menos tienes el juego. Habilidades aSundered: Eldritch Edition es un juego que está muy entretenido. La base es un metroidvania con mucho más combate del que suele ser habitual en el género. A eso se le añade una capa de rogue-lite que hace que los mapas varíen de una vez a otra, que introduce la muerte como una mecánica en la que gastas experiencia para volverte más fuerte y más o menos tienes el juego. Habilidades a desbloquear en el mundo, perks que permiten especializar al personaje según el estilo de juego que nos guste, un árbol de habilidades lleno de mejoras pasivas a distintos stats. Eso si, la variedad de enemigos está bien pero resulta un poco justita, ya que muchos solo son versiones modificadas de otros monstruos que ya habias encontrado, o tienen patrones y técnicas similares.

    Gráficamente el juego cumple sin ser un portento; donde más cansa es en los escenarios, que se repiten mucho y son tres zonas grandes con sus propias estéticas y luego ya filtros de colores. El sonido cumple, sin sorpresas maravillosas, aunque me gusta mucho la voz del narrador (¿habla en alemán?) que le pega mucho a la ambientación y la historia. En cuanto a bugs, he encontrado algunos, pero nada demasiado grave.

    El resultado de todo ello son unas 15 horillas divertidas pero no trascendentales. Un 6,5

    Bad Points: None, i dont find anything wrong for the game, the enemies , the environment, the music and the crazy effects of sound are top notch. If you dont like challenging games dont worry, it has an easy mode for casuals.

    Super fun game. Intense and fun action, smooth gameplay, perfect challenge level, great skills and mechanics progression, satisfying passive tree, interesting choices with a non-intrusive splash of story. No need for google searches, just keep playing until you find where to go.

    Writing my review after 2 hours of playtime. the game is incredible, the way we moved from one "room" to another is awesome. Original idea.

    I played this game start to finish in coop and it's fantastic. Only downside is a bug we had right at the end: we killed the final boss, it saved (so you can reload back at the sanctuary with xp earned from the fight) and unlocked the achievement, but didn't show the final cutscene. Apparently this is a bug exclusive to coop. Easily fixed by watching a youtube video, but still deductingI played this game start to finish in coop and it's fantastic.     Much better value than Metroid Dread, as Dread was $80CDN and took me 6.5 hours to complete, this is typically $23CDN but was on sale for $6CDN and took 9 hours. But also a better Metroid game than Dread. So many indie metroidvanias make the real deal look like crap.

    This was truly an incredible experience. Going through it entirely with my girlfriend, in couch co-op, was an absolute blast. The artwork is just stunning, and those boss fights? Mind-blowing. The animations added a whole other layer of awesomeness. Honestly, everything was so meticulously crafted and visually striking. The way they've created the darkness and its surroundings is justThis was truly an incredible experience. Going through it entirely with my girlfriend, in couch co-op, was an absolute blast. The artwork is just stunning, and those boss fights? Mind-blowing. The animations added a whole other layer of awesomeness. Honestly, everything was so meticulously crafted and visually striking. The way they've created the darkness and its surroundings is just impressive. There was no hook here: The game gives you little to nothing to do and an enormous amount of space to do it in. It gives you tiny threads of a story, none of which were enough to make me want to slog through the tedium. The combat is very basic hack-and-slash platforming. The enemy design is boring; there are maybe 3 enemy types you come across, and the first boss is just a bigger version of one of those 3.

    I can sum up the first 30 minutes with a series of "Why?"s:
    Why are tentacles dragging me away?
    Why do the green plants that look exactly like the rest of the environment hurt me?
    Why is the weird black crystal talking to me in some faux German/Gaelic language?
    Why do I have a dodge roll in a 2D hack-and-slash platformer?
    Why aren't there any combos?
    Why am I going through 5 minutes of world travelling without encountering a single enemy?
    Why do you unlock doors by smashing future crystals?
    Why am I doing anything?
    Why am I here?
    Why am I still playing this game?

    Ten enjoyable hours, great visuals, excellent combat system, too much repetitiveness. Sundered is no Ori and the Blind Forest, but metroidvania fans should enjoy it. [10/2017, p.70]

    Sundered is another example of a good concept that was poorly realized. During the first five minutes the game is nice, but after that you have to force yourself to play it.
