if you are looking for a fighting game to hold you for years to come then this might be it will be supported for a lone time but that also means microtransaction and if that bothers you than yea dont get it but if you dont mind then yea , fighting is solid all the mechanics is great and the drive bar is quite unique, lots to learn and lots of in depth tutorials for each character.

Incredible entry to the series. Blowing most other FGs out of the water, in my opinion. The gameplay is deep and the Drive system is an incredible addition. The execution has been simplified when compared to previous titles(SFV not withstanding) but it is still hard...sometimes even too hard for beginners who aren't all that interested in putting so much effort in learning, but that's howIncredible entry to the series. World Tour mode is also a really cool addition. FGs have been, for a very long time, glorified arcade ports, with arcade mode and combo trials being the only true "single player" content there is. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's plenty of casual fun and a cool distraction from the more hardcore fighting.
The online experience is also top notch. Not only is the netcode pretty good, making matches lag-free(as long as you are not playing on terrible connection), the overall matchmaking and quality of life features are impressive.
It should be said that this game has things like battle pass/premium pass on top of the character season pass which is pretty scummy. Capcom always tries to monetize things to an unfair degree and this is no exception. I'm fine with paying a season pass for more characters released through a year or so, but also including a "battle pass" is just jumping on the "games as a service" bandwagon to squeeze as many pennies out of players as they can.

I'm loving this game. It feels like two games in one. The World Tour mode feels like a love letter to Final Fight, and I love that. The game shows a lot of love to the SF2 characters. The character creation is great. Even if you don't like the modern controls, they're a nice inclusion. This is the biggest step forward the franchise has ever made in many respects.

Story mode was good, providing around 25 hours of solid content with more to come.

Unlocking secondary costumes is very simple once you are end game as it only requires you to max out your bond with the person. Not master their style. Throwing in earn-able costumes is a thing of older games that I’m very happy Capcom included here. I am aware there is a pay wall for cosmetics but if that

Player battles are 100 MPH and welcoming to new players. I have friends who are inept at fighting games and they are having a blast. They may not win as much due to nerfed damage but that is also due to fundamentals.

Modern controls are a good idea and capcom have clearly thought it out. This is the best fighting game release since tekken tag 2 for me and probably the greatest of all time period. TT2 just has a special place in my heart.

If you like fighting games and have enough emotional maturity to overcome losing by learning the game before coming on here to review bomb about how "broken" it is, there's a good chance you'll enjoy this game. This is, in my opinion...and many others in the FGC...easily the best Street Fighter game we have had to date.

This game, along with many other fighting games as of late, have been drifting more toward neutral gameplay, especially since moves are a lot more negative on block. Personally, I love this direction. Neutral is where all the tense decision making is taking place. It's a sort of dance that rewards patience. If you just hop into the game learning a bunch of combos and expecting to do well, it's not going to work out for you. Learn your fundamentals...learn how to play footsies, anti-airs, whiff punishing, frame traps, tick throws, buffering, etc. You can easily make it to Plat with just a reasonable knowledge of fundamentals without any combos. Heck, I watched my friend be placed in Diamond after just picking up a character with only a solid understanding of fundamentals and almost no combos. Of course combos will help, but if you're often losing neutral then all those hours you spent learning combos won't help you much. Again, patience is key. Allow your opponent to make mistakes. Sometimes not doing anything is better than whiffing a button and being punished for it.

I don't have much of an opinion on World Tour. I can see it appealing to some people, but it's not very interesting to me. But the ability to create your own character and mix and match movesets is a welcome addition. If only it weren't tailored toward Modern controls for mix-matching your movesets. This means that I can't have qcb+p and qcb+k moves on the same character whether I'm using Classic or Modern controls, because in Modern controls these are the same button. Some of the new characters aren't that interesting to me, either...but they've grown on me a little. I'm sure they'll have some snazzy costumes in the future.

SF6 not only inspires other popular fighting games like Mortal Kombat and Tekken, but it also has the capability of showing other non-fighting games how cool and big the fighting genre can be. SF6 is a well realized and thoughtful package that satisfies its own fans and also brings so many new players to the genre.

From artistic and diverse set of characters that are so fun to play, a World Tour single player mode that is perhaps the best single player mode created in a fighting game ever while being goofy at the same time, to a seamless well featured arcady looking online lobby, in addition to cheesy bonus modes; SF6 redefines the iconic series and the fighting genre as a whole

Not gonna lie; it was very brow-rising to see all those complaints considering those are standart issues for pretty much every figthing game ever.

Nevertheless, I'm glad Capcom has gone so far to adress every one of those complaints. The single player content will get you occupied for 30+ hours, and World Tour very reminiscent of a Conquest mode of old 3d mortal combat games. While it's still not on par with something like dissidia in terms on quanity, I think it's still justifies its price.

World Tour is also a great way to learn pretty much all of game mechanics and character playstyles without much of chore and has a nice rpg system. While the story isn't really something to write home about, it doesn't really need to be one. After all, SF always leaned more into campy saturday morning cartoon, so I'm glad they went all in, as it offers pretty upbeat story and a lot of fanserive thanks to ability to literally date iconic SF characters.

Additionally urban aesthetic was a pleasant change of pace. Kinda a riddle to me why only now Capcom decided to embrace a *street* aspect considering this word in a literal title, but hey, I'm glad they finally did.

And, of course, there are multitude other game modes, both multiplayer and single-player, and thanks to large player base this game will most likely stay alive unless Capcom willm anage to screw things up in the following updates (which is highly unlikely considering the winning streak they on lately). Oh and PC port is above average of what we are getting these days.

So overall so far my impressions are extremely positive. Not sure how exactly this keeps up but I hope it will become even better in future updates. Whether you are a fighting game fan or a normie -- i recommend this title all the same.

Compared to the previous oppressive style, this installment has become much more joyful. The single-player mode, World Tour, is a content-rich RPG game that takes you around the world to compete with different martial artists, interspersed with many small stories that allow us to understand the characters from different perspectives. In addition to interacting with pedestrians, now you can also engage in battles with them, which is really fun!

The battle lobby is a hall filled with arcade machines, recreating the feeling of playing games in an arcade store. Unlike the previous focus on turn-based battles, there is now a more immersive party atmosphere, and these visually appealing designs actually have practical uses.

Furthermore, the game retains and improves training mode, arcade mode, combo practice, and more. There is also a modern mode tailored for beginners, where you can execute moves with just one button, significantly reducing the learning curve. However, compared to the flexibility and fun of the classic mode, this mode may be somewhat lacking.

Before playing, it's important to ensure that your computer can smoothly run the game. I recommend trying out the game's demo version first to better confirm its compatibility. Overall, "Street Fighter 6" gives an exhilarating feeling, and both seasoned players and newcomers should give it a try!

This isn't sf5 any longer and thank god. No more footies and watching players play defensive putting even myself to sleep while choring through the story mode which was the only thing that kept it in my library.

This isn't sf5 any longer and thank god. No more footies and watching players play defensive putting even myself to sleep while choring through the story mode which was the only thing that kept it in my library. In this game capcom changed things up for the best. Parry attacks, power drives and the new specials make this game offer you more options to have fun, unlike sf5 where you'd be zoned to death while playing the turle game. Machine sf4, sf6 brings back the flair. They reduced charged characters on the roster to keep the fights more action paced and will likely bring more in down the line.

I'm sure in months time the fan fare will die down but also sure the game will be one of the top two within the next couple years.

I personally do not the over pricing of dlc. It's a thing for capcom and the gaming community which in a way keep it alive but I'd like to not spend 30 bucks for only 1 character I'd like to play. It is what it is..

However the game is out standing in its performance. It can only keep getting better in time. No need to wait on this one, unless you really aren't into sf as as series. Def A Must play this year!

Unleash Your Fighting Spirit: A Review of Street Fighter™ - The Evolution Continues!ヽ(´• ω •`)、

    1. Intro:
Capcom's iconic fighting franchise returns with Street Fighter™ 6, the highly anticipated next chapter in the series. Released worldwide on June 2nd, 2023, Street Fighter™ 6 showcases Capcom's commitment to evolving the fighting game genre while staying true to its roots. With a diverse roster of 18 fighters, three engaging game modes, and an array of new features, this game is set to captivate both longtime fans and newcomers alike.

    2. Game Experience:

One of the standout features of Street Fighter™ 6 is its impressive roster of fighters. Players can expect to see familiar faces like Ryu and Chun-Li, along with new fan favorites such as Luke, Jamie, and Kimberly. Each character has undergone striking redesigns, bringing a fresh look to the game, and their exhilarating cinematic specials add an extra layer of excitement to the battles.

The combat system in Street Fighter™ 6 has been finely tuned and offers three control types: Classic, Modern, and Dynamic. This allows players of all skill levels to jump in and enjoy the action. Additionally, the new Real Time Commentary Feature enhances the competitive experience by providing hype-inducing commentary and clear explanations of gameplay mechanics. It's a great addition for both casual players and those looking to improve their skills.

The introduction of the Drive Gauge system adds depth to the gameplay. Players must strategically manage their resources to gain an edge in battles. This resource management aspect adds an extra layer of strategy, requiring players to think carefully about when and how to use their resources in order to secure victory.

Street Fighter™ 6 offers a range of game modes to keep players engaged. World Tour is an immersive single-player story mode where players can explore Metro City and beyond, encountering Masters who will guide them on their journey. This mode adds a sense of narrative and allows players to learn different styles and techniques. The Battle Hub is another core mode, providing a space for players to gather, communicate, and become stronger together. It offers the opportunity to face off against other players using avatars created in the World Tour mode. Additionally, the Game Center within the Battle Hub allows players to enjoy classic Capcom arcade games, a nostalgic treat for longtime fans.

Online play is a significant component of Street Fighter™ 6, with Capcom providing various online services and content. It's worth noting that an internet connection is required for certain elements of the game, and a Capcom ID is necessary for accessing online-only content. Capcom's dedication to online play ensures that players can engage with a vibrant community and take their skills to the global stage.

    3. Verdict:
In conclusion, Street Fighter™ 6 is a worthy addition to the legendary franchise. With its diverse roster, refined combat system, engaging game modes, and robust online features, it promises to deliver an exhilarating experience for fans and newcomers alike. Capcom has once again proven its ability to evolve the series while staying true to its core essence. Me and Street Fighter we go way back. I can remember hot summer days at a friends house playing Street Fighter 2 Turbo on SNES while life was still carefree. Little did I know back then that 30 years later I would still be playing this magnificent franchise. Since the only console I'd owned back then was a Game Boy I didn't have a lot of contact with the series for a while.

I became a PC player and there were other games to play. Of course the name "Street Fighter" never went away. It was glued to my childhood memories. In 2008 when SF4 was released on PC I came back to Street Fighter. Although it looked very different from the game of my childhood it still had the same unique feeling to it. I played it for a long time and eventually got SF5 in 2016.

Here we are in 2023 with Street Fighter 6. What can I say ? They did it again !
Capcom managed to create a new game that feels fresh and even innovating at times while still maintaining that unique Street Fighter feeling. There is just so much attention to detail in every aspect of the game. Every character has his/her own personality and unique fighting style. The new "modern" fight-mode makes it easier for newcomers to get into the game while you can still pick "classic" mode for the original controls.
They did an exceptional job to make this game accessible for people who aren't into fighting games.
World Tour is a great addition to the game. It gives the game a little bit of open-world rpg feeling and makes it real easy to get accustomed to the game even if you are new to fighting games. You can create your own character and explore the open world do a main quest or side missions and other little things. The character editor has to be one of the best i've ever seen in any game.
Of course all the other modes like multiplayer, story, arcade are still there and there are even more things to discover. This is by far the biggest and most satisfying Street Fighter experience I have ever witnessed. I haven't discovered any bugs or issues so far which is a novelty in today's video game landscape especially for a game as fleshed out as SF6.

You can't got wrong with this one. This is a great game.

This game is fabulous since the beginning in many ways:

It has a lot of content that a lot of fighting games lack. It has a proper lobby with old arcades so you can try other classic Capcom games. Graphically, it is so beautiful during fights. The gameplay is sooo polished and well thought. Having the opportunity of making your own avatar and customizing the moves is something that many people dreamt of.

Almost everything in the game is perfect, but I don't give it a 9 because the graphic quality is so different when you play World Tour. There are big FPS drops when there are more NPCs or enemies on screen. That mode is very repetitive and it is not very engaging in the long term, although it is nice having it to have a rest from the frantic on-line fights.

Despite all that, I can say that as a big SF fan, this is far far better than any of the last games releases, and it has room for improvement!

What is shoved in your face tho, is the sheer beauty and overall feel of this best of the best Street Fighter Titles.
    Buy it!

Great mechanics, goofy character creater, great online lobby's/rollback netcode, fun arcade/vs modes, and an expected single player mode. My only complaint is that the single player could have had a more fleshed out story, but other than that it's exlent as far as fighting games go. Also, you can get Chun-Li's phone number in this one. 9/10

+Gameplay (Fun new mechanics like drive gauge)
    +Online connectivity solid
+World Tour Mode a nice different fun mode
-World Tour first 1-2 hours. (Until you don't learn blocking and some moves, the WT aint fun to play.)

    Hadoukeen!

Single player content- fun for me who are relatively new to the franchise/genre. It provides space for creativity where you can create your very own combination of skills from different masters for your avatar. Has decent grind to get you familiar with the game.
Avatars- Customizable to you're liking along with skill sets you get from world tour.
Connections filters and wifi indicator- Much needed modern QOL as it's p2p and not server based game. People on the other end will suffer your poor internet quality without this.
Rank-seems to have healthy population to match you with close skill
Earn-able skins via world tour- Love how they treat the current char costumes as you can earn by progressing through out your single content.
Battle hub- Unique place to interact with people. Would love more variation at some point.
Netcode- Having the game designed around the netcode makes the usually stutter very unnoticeable. Still bad against people with poor network quality or wifi, but we have indicators to filter them out.
Input syncing- They seemed to have address the dilemma that other FG had in the past of not being able to pick out side of very few stages due to it's lag by isolating the syncing to only player's input. Have had 0 de-sync or roll back problems aside from match with people using wi-fi
Modern control- Had my little cousin play in this control set and he had a blast. Although I'm a bit salty about losing to him, I'm happy more people can enjoy the genre. Plus, it's limited in some control so I wouldn't be worried about as you progress higher into the rank.

    What I didn't like
Random errors- Happens mid match, matchmaking & also during world tour. I would like this fixed asap.
Battle hub arcade stand- Although Battle Hub provides unique space for people to interact and track of the hottest streaking player, not having connection filter/wifi filter makes the experience very much not favorable. You are forced to fight someone on the spot without any clear indication of their connection quality.
Weekly/Daily challenges-Does not leave room for casual to earn as it's based only on winning the match. Sees a lot of people going after avatar lvl way below them to earn these rewards. It kills the fun and creates more room for toxcity.

As far as being a fighting game is concerned, everything is almost perfect, but if you look at other details (aesthetics or soundtracks) that's where it can fall.

World tour mode can be lame but that is not the main thing about this game, even said that WT is the weakest part of SF6.

An absolutely addictive game! I am not primarily into fighting games other than my Big Blue and MK30th Arcade1ups, but Street Fighter 6 has clearly done something right to get an old fan back on board. If you believe the obvious fake news review bombs on here, that's on you. Meanwhile, the current one million players and I will be having a blast online.

This game is a modern day miracle. Let all other game developers take note -- this is how you make a game that appeals to both brand new players and insular hardcore communities.

I cannot overstate how much style this game has. Even the menus were clearly made by people who were having a blast, as opposed to the generic minimalism that most live service games tend to use. It just feels

World Tour mode is probably the greatest fighting game tutorial of all time. It has its limitations, certainly, but it's also full of fan service and a sense of joy that isn't nearly as common in AAA games as it used to be. The story is fairly insubstantial, but that's not really the main draw here. Players get to learn the mechanics of Street Fighter, but within the framework of an expansive action game, with all the usual modern RPG mechanics. Your player-created character can befriend and train under characters from the main roster. This mode shows more of their personalities than every previous game combined, and it's simply a blast getting to learn about and interact with them.

As for the actual fighting mechanics, the newest addition is the Drive system. It's basically a meter that allows for a powerful set of universal abilities. I'm no expert, but I like the system a lot. It's simple to understand and simple to use, but versatile enough to allow for a ton of skill expression and player creativity.

I see a lot of complaints about the monetization, and that's an area I'm very critical of in most games. That said, I just don't see much to complain about here. There is a fighter pass, to unlock new characters as they are released. This seems standard for modern fighting games. There's also a battle pass, but it's maybe the least essential package of content I've ever seen. I'm a completionist at heart, but the items in the first battle pass are mostly just profile icons and some cosmetics for your custom avatar. There is literally nothing here to affect an actual match of Street Fighter, even visually. And if you do consider a profile icon to be absolutely essential, the battle pass is only $5 anyway.

A great return to form for the series after a questionable (although improved over time) previous entry in terms of gameplay and online environment, somewhat held back by a lacklustre visual presentation and a mediocre soundtrack as well as predatory microtransaction practices in a full priced game and a genuinely baffling single-player mode.

Haters gonna hate, yet it won't change that SF6 is one of the best and most feature-rich FG in recent 10 years.

SFVI’s launch marks an impressive effort by Capcom, having learned from previous failings and while the lackluster World Tour mode and gross battle pass stains an otherwise spotless package, it still shines brightly as the new standard for fighters to come.

For every great thing Street Fighter 6 does — and there’s a lot of them — there’s some flaw, some annoyance, or a ridiculous microtransaction system. If you’re looking for a 2D fighting game to play online or with your friends, Street Fighter 6 is one of the best around. But almost everything around the fighting itself is flawed in a way it probably shouldn’t be. The fight is all, but we shouldn’t have to deal with all of this other stuff to enjoy it.

Street Fighter 6 is an undisputed masterpiece. From beginner-friendly game design to distinct visual combined with heavy hitting sensation, the overall experience was near perfect. In particular, World Tour mode gives you the unique feeling of Final fight meets GTA, have proved itself as a key content with respect for the original characters, tutorials and fun.
