    I dont know what Capcom was thinking with SF6 they have been really been knocking it out the park with Re4R, Monster Hunter and DMC5 but this just feels like a dud in comparison some thought was for sure put into this I'll give it that but Im very dissappointed on the Roster and many of them just feel uninspiring to play outside of Ken, Ryu, Chun, and Blanka and Dhalsim but the newcomersI dont know what Capcom was thinking with SF6 they have been really been knocking it out the park with Re4R, Monster Hunter and DMC5 but this just feels like a dud in comparison some thought was for sure put into this I'll give it that but Im very dissappointed on the Roster and many of them just feel uninspiring to play outside of Ken, Ryu, Chun, and Blanka and Dhalsim but the newcomers seem generic or bland in comparision ; the story mode is very basic and straight foward gets boring fast but I guess its a tutorial for the game as a Main Story Mode ; Online mode is adequate and decent enough on its own but outside of online and arcade mode there really isnt much to keep you playing if your not hardcore into SF I dunno I expected more for 69.99 if you ask me… Expand

    this game doesn't feel like street fighter most the time, feels like a react to drive impact mini game, a bit like one of those rhythm games where you have to react the moment the prompt appears on screen. If you're not good at this mini game you kinda won't be very good at SF6 regardless of how good your normal street fighter fundamentals might be

    then you have the honda headbutt and blanka ball spam which turns into a parry the spam mini game, a unique mini game for these 2 braindead characters

    then you have JP who's playing mortal kombat within SF so you have the mortal kombat mini game inside of street fighter, enjoy trying to parry that spam too

    I mean this game is weird for a street fighter. Just too many bad design choices in general, with combo timing so lenient anyone can be a combo god I just don't get what they were trying to do with this game.    … Expand

    The reason the graphics and animations are so poor is because of the outdated RE engine, hopefully Super Street Fighter 6 coming next year will have a new engine.

    Matchmaking is buggy mess. There is constant errors event after a month after release.
    Singleplayer content is repeative trash.

    Got this game with a buddy and was so excited, but played this for a few hours and realized that this is only Street Fighter in name. Game doesn't feel like Street Fighter at all. From the music to character's designs to themes. Even dumb down controls which is insulting to everyone. Boring and total letdown.

    World tour mode is a joke with repetitive fights and a forgettable story. Arcade mode is forgettable as well with no boss fight. It's like they wanted to create more content just for the sake of it due to SFV's backlash, but the execution is piss poor! The online seems to have some bugs that needs to be ironed out as I keep getting error messages.

    I was extremely happy when I received this game with a friend, but after playing it for a while, I found that it is merely called Street Fighter. The game doesn't have the slightest Street Fighter vibe. from the themes to the character designs and music. Even controls that are simplified, which is offensive to everyone. complete letdown and boring.

    Everyone wants that Cammy's 2P "original" outfit, but guess what? You have to grind 20 hrs in the boring World Tour "story" mode just to get one single outfit. Just one. To get other alternate outfit for other characters you have to waste 20hrs again! For just one outfit! Or you can pay real money again to buy the 2P outfit after already paying full price for the game!

    I can't believe how barebone Street Fighter 6 is! After the awful Street Fighter 5 I thought they have corrected their mistakes but NOPE!

    Capcom really need to release a new patch to give us all the 2P outfits for free without all the hassle.

    The changes made by Capcom to please the west definitely ruined the game. The soundtrack, one of the worst ever made, with boring Hiphop. The characters all the time doing rapper poses and acting like streamers, not to mention the new "fighters", who look more like Tiktokers. The UFC-style entry of characters totally mischaracterized the game. The terrible concept art, with neons,The changes made by Capcom to please the west definitely ruined the game. The soundtrack, one of the worst ever made, with boring Hiphop. The characters all the time doing rapper poses and acting like streamers, not to mention the new "fighters", who look more like Tiktokers. The UFC-style entry of characters totally mischaracterized the game. The terrible concept art, with neons, paints and graffiti all over the place, if only they had taken more inspiration from the concept art of the characters, it would have been so much better. Offline content looks like it was put in anyway to avoid complaints. I always liked Street Fighter, but not this one.… Expand

    To me, SF6 lacks the technical depth of a true fighting game, it also lacks identity as they've been struggling with this issue since 3rd strike. Those are my only criticisms from someone who's more into tekken and other fighting games, the only SF I could get into was 4. So maybe the game isn't for me to begin with.

I hated SF5 , but SF5 champion's edition was really the true final form of SF5. The same thing is gonna happen with SF6.    … Expand

    Single player is boring and no rewarding at all. Everything is paid by currency, currently you can only acquire 500 tickets per month, more if you have battle pass, color for costume costs 1000 ticket, each character will have around 10 costumes and 10 colors for each costume, I will leave math to you.     The problem is the goofy characters in the game that you can't take seriously, it has gotten even worse in this entry sadly - so ridiculous looking....... We need a SF2 reboot bring back the serious looking fighters Cap!

    This version of Street Fighter heavily punish players who play defensively and only encourage playing offensively, the easy/modern control makes the game even more bland and shallow, so disappointing.........even SFV was better than this........

    Man this is such unbalanced fighting game. Some is way overpowered, and then some like Zangief is way bottom-tier with no fighting chance. With so few fighters you can choose from this is not worth to buy full price!

    The online game mode has been ruined by the modern control scheme players. They are just spamming special attack by pressing one button over and over again. Not fun at all and punishing the skilled player is a mistake! No reason to play SF6 anymore.

    I'm a casual fighting game player so I was told this game has "modern control" which should have been great to someone like me........but it is actually awful! The modern control limited my moveset and I deal way less damage! Modern control is not fun at all! Feel scammed and cheated in buying this game that's not friendly to newbie at all.............

    Terrible story, sloppy and overly simplified gameplay, embarrassingly bad campaign mode, and a multiplayer mode you have to pay for. Dont bother with this one its a franchise killer posing as a reinvention by the corrupt game review companies like IGN.

    Street Fighter 6 is really fun when it works, that being said, it rarely does work. For every good thing the game has an equally awful element. I think the biggest issue this game got is the drive impact mechanic, a potent attack every single character can use. This, together with some other accessibility functions whilst on paper great, make every fight feel the same, or worse;Street Fighter 6 is really fun when it works, that being said, it rarely does work.     SF6 is a game I can only recommend if you intend to play it casually with friends.
    If you want a competitive one, this is essentially your only option till Tekken 8.
    As for single player, it entirely falls flat. On PC it runs awful, and there isnt even that much there to begin with sadly.

    Still, many of these flaws are outdone by a beautiful style, great music and a fun gameplay core. But there is one more issue that truly makes me unable to recommend this title; very, very bad business practices. Just the new tmnt costumes alone cost 15 dollars a pop.

    Over all, I recommend picking it up on sale, but only if its got some fixes in by then.    … Expand

    all characters look ugly and the push for gender ambiguity is disgusting, the music sucks on purpose to sell you DLC tracks, characters are behind additional paywall so of course DLC characters will be pay to win for some time before they get balanced.

    Full price title with micro transaction, world tour is giga boring and uninspired, connection is failing all the time it is literally unplayable and the problem is not on my side as twitch as well as discord keep running, also I ve heard similar complains from others. This was my first and last time I bought a Sf game.

    SFVI’s launch marks an impressive effort by Capcom, having learned from previous failings and while the lackluster World Tour mode and gross battle pass stains an otherwise spotless package, it still shines brightly as the new standard for fighters to come.

    For every great thing Street Fighter 6 does — and there’s a lot of them — there’s some flaw, some annoyance, or a ridiculous microtransaction system. If you’re looking for a 2D fighting game to play online or with your friends, Street Fighter 6 is one of the best around. But almost everything around the fighting itself is flawed in a way it probably shouldn’t be. The fight is all, but we shouldn’t have to deal with all of this other stuff to enjoy it.

    Street Fighter 6 is an undisputed masterpiece. From beginner-friendly game design to distinct visual combined with heavy hitting sensation, the overall experience was near perfect. In particular, World Tour mode gives you the unique feeling of Final fight meets GTA, have proved itself as a key content with respect for the original characters, tutorials and fun.
