As someone who plays single player most of the time, the "World Tour" is an absolutely abysmal excuse for single player content I've seen from a developer of Capcom's caliber. Hours upon hours of running in circles. Forced to use character movesets that you don't know or care about. Having to chew through a **** main story because EVERYTHING is "locked" behind "main story" progression. As someone who plays single player most of the time, the "World Tour" is an absolutely abysmal excuse for single player content I've seen from a developer of Capcom's caliber. World Tour was sold as a somewhat free exploration and is instead a frustrating and boring fetch quest and mouse wheel simulator.

The demo got me hyped for this. The devs, in typical modern game dev fashion, dicked it up in every way possible.

Great potential here. Smooth game and graphics. Drive rush is a great and fun mechanic.

(High platinum rank player opinion): However Drive impact feels like it was made for noobies in mind and overall just an unfun mechanic. Never felt satisfying landing it, as it leads to a big combo all because I got lucky and used it during my opponents move. Never touched world tour as it seemed

Never touched world tour as it seemed more of a tutorial for newer players. Which I think is a great idea to help them ease into sf6.

Overall just a dumb down fighting game with great potential, but feels more hand-holding than a skillful game.

I dont know what Capcom was thinking with SF6 they have been really been knocking it out the park with Re4R, Monster Hunter and DMC5 but this just feels like a dud in comparison some thought was for sure put into this I'll give it that but Im very dissappointed on the Roster and

I am a fan of the series for decades now but having all my life experience and development behind I must say this game is for people who do not believe in themselves and need some short periods of "prove" that they are the "life winners" when winning a fight. The game is ok, however has all the street fighter problems that all sf games have:

The game is ok, however has all the street fighter problems that all sf games have:
    1. Throws - general problem with throws is that they are too op in all sf games. CMD throws especially. They are a thing that cancels everything not powerful as super moves which is a logic problem of that game and a frustrating thing to deal with, especially taking into consideration how online play works.
    2. Wake up options - Ryu will always have more wake up options than other characters and wake up in general is a frustrating mess in that game. There is no much you can do apart of being hit. The rules of "invincible" moves are a joke because there are bugs, like JP super lvl1 that is not invincible at all.
    3. The frames - being good in the game is about studying frames that are active or not, which is a task for a rather sad person.
Succeeding in life will not happen after you know every move of every person around you. However this is a case in that game. If you have time to study all characters moves, responses to them and all animation frames by hard plus you play on CABLE INTERNET this game is for you

It's fun to play with friends, so it has that going for it. Only that's about all it has going for it for me. Hopefully other people get more out of it, but for me it's middling.

It gets a 5 because this game has the worst single player campaign I have ever played by a major developer like Capcom. If I was to rate this game based on the campaign alone, it would get a 0 straight up. It's boring, the AI is awful, just a long grind. Reviewers like IGN giving this game such high scores is insane. I enjoy pvp and the fighting in this game for multiplayer is decent, soIt gets a 5 because this game has the worst single player campaign I have ever played by a major developer like Capcom. I enjoy pvp and the fighting in this game for multiplayer is decent, so the multiplayer can redeem it from a 0 to a 5. It's a fighting game, nothing new or revolutionary. Oh and the "Modern" controls make the game easier than SmashBros controlls, Modern provides autocombos, where as smashbros has no autocombos. You can use the classic controls though.

I just want to repeat that the high scores from places like IGN are absolutely not correct. It's like review sites just copy and pasted each other, afraid of sticking out and just giving an honest critical review. There is no way any person who has played other single player games thinks that world tour campaign deserves a high score, no way. I'm telling you it's garbage compared to literally any other major dev single player campaign.

Street Fighter 6 has a bright future. Optimized and beautiful fighter, modernized for more accessibility has really helps with the ecosystem of players.

World Tour content seems kind of underdeveloped and I hope it get's expanded in future updates as more characters get added. I love what they are doing with the Battle Hub, walking up to machines to join people was a fun alternate way

There are certain scenarios that can accidentally are not properly explained that can eat your inputs. While I do enjoy the new buffer system learning the intricacies of it and what stuffs it out can be frustrating.

SFVI’s launch marks an impressive effort by Capcom, having learned from previous failings and while the lackluster World Tour mode and gross battle pass stains an otherwise spotless package, it still shines brightly as the new standard for fighters to come.

For every great thing Street Fighter 6 does — and there’s a lot of them — there’s some flaw, some annoyance, or a ridiculous microtransaction system. If you’re looking for a 2D fighting game to play online or with your friends, Street Fighter 6 is one of the best around. But almost everything around the fighting itself is flawed in a way it probably shouldn’t be. The fight is all, but we shouldn’t have to deal with all of this other stuff to enjoy it.

Street Fighter 6 is an undisputed masterpiece. From beginner-friendly game design to distinct visual combined with heavy hitting sensation, the overall experience was near perfect. In particular, World Tour mode gives you the unique feeling of Final fight meets GTA, have proved itself as a key content with respect for the original characters, tutorials and fun.
