Eugene Games forgot how to do games in the genre of wargame. Broken mechanics, bad optimization (My pc is not bad, but not OP) average balance = dead online. You can play only with your friends or with the same people.

Avoid at all costs. Devs are scum that shut down online servers for previous titles to force people to buy this piece of crap. Even EA did not fall that low.

This time they are really laid up. Broken mechanics, only 3~4 maps' tons of bug. If you realy wana play smart ass game buy RED DRAGON and enjoy yourself with a quality game product. Steel Division 2 is just low qualaty game which parasitism on the famous of previous games. And you will not find bad coment in steam forum the agressory banned any bad or netrual review there,

Specially for the people who want to be with their own they will be more gaming and less likely to be seen in the league.

Eastern front of WW2 was where the real fighting took place yet its implementation was too bad. When you play multiplayer you can understand why there is an escalation mechanic but why would they put it into campaign where forces already exist on the map? Even if Red Dragon was an old game , it had far better graphics and effects than this one. I hate projetiles like it was a cartoon.Eastern front of WW2 was where the real fighting took place yet its implementation was too bad. This is not the way to go EUGEN. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Game is not finished, lacks of polishing everywhere. SP doesn't care if you win big or small just a set notification at the end, makes zero sense also game mode is retarded it just a downgrade of King of the mountain mode but far worse.MP is dying very fast and it is lobby simulator already.

A great successor to a great game that pulls off everything its predecessor did, and something more besides. But there are also the same mistakes and some brand new ones.

Eugen Systems’s Steel Division 2 is an incredibly detailed and immersive RTS game, but its lacking content and virtually non-existent accessibility makes this a hard sell for anyone outside of Eugen’s fanbase.

Steel Division 2 didn't blow me away, even though I did enjoy myself watching my army blow away the enemy. It's a very well put together game, a beautifully detailed game, but it feels a bit basic. There's a lot of potential in there that I'd like to see elaborated on more. I'd like to see more done with the General's Map table, I'd love to see an encouragement of deeper tactics in the actual battles. I think Steel Division 2 is a great way to kill some time in the annual summer gaming drought, but beyond that I'm not sure I'll be picking it up again any time soon.
