I really enjoy VR, and would definitely recommend it if you're able to afford it. I prefer SteamVR hardware as opposed to Oculus or WMRI really enjoy VR, and would definitely recommend it if you're able to afford it. I prefer SteamVR hardware as opposed to Oculus or WMR hardware, simply because you can use any SteamVR hardware with each other, even if they're not the same model, or from the same company. I'm perfectly fine with my Vive headset and base stations, but would like the Index controllers, so I can just get those without having to buy the entire kit. SteamVR also has the advantage of, of course, being on the Steam platform, which could be another reason to get SteamVR hardware instead of Oculus hardware if you think they're equal in all other aspects.
