I enjoyed the first SOD a lot, I found the combination of the action and tactics to be refreshing. I've been looking for a good zombie game for a while but haven't found one yet that is both finished and diverse. yes, there are lots of alpha indie games out there but they all seem to be going nowhere.

After having played SOD Lifeline for about 20 hours I can say I'm not very impressed.

After having played SOD Lifeline for about 20 hours I can say I'm not very impressed. basically it's the same game, but set in a small city. I haven't found any improvements or anything new and on the pc the game seemed buggy and laggy. If you played a previous SOD game, you won't find anything new. 4/10

This DLC sucks, in addition to the game being more difficult than the original, you still have to keep looking for the base and all the time you have to defend it. In short: This DLC garbage is literally Tower defense. Not counting the bugs that are 3x more than in the original games, the most ridiculous thing is the zombie crossing the bars .. while in the original this happens butThis DLC sucks, in addition to the game being more difficult than the original, you still have to keep looking for the base and all the time you have to defend it. State of Decay, besides its flaws, is among the few good efforts of conveying a zombie apocalypse to the PC.With its interesting character progression and base building mechanics, along with the generous content of the DLC's, it is a good bang for the buck for the people who are fond of slaughtering decaying humanoids.

Now in its third iteration, State of Decay is demonstrating a steady improvement that would be the envy of most titles. Each new add-on has made the game's world more interesting and added fascinating gameplay developments.

A change of focus from civilian to military engagement places a greater emphasis on firearms and offers neat thematic alternatives to scavenging resources. But Lifeline’s familiar urgency is restricted to Danforth’s rather mundane outskirts.
