    I liked the story , the dialogues even the stories in side missions are great ngl
    the gameplay especially the shooting mechanics are just better than Fallout 4
    Graphics are just beautiful .
    But please try to optimize the game or add DLSS

    Starfield has an unique open world and marvelous rpg at the same time. It have some minor problems(bugs,performance issues,ai...etc) that caused by its old engine and as i see bethesda didn't do much to develop these negatives. But for me overall a good game still.

    Aside from graphical quality, which I believe could be better, overall the game plays great compared to previous bethesda games. Took me a little bit longer to get invested to that of similiar games bethesda has offered but once I got on a roll and got connected to my menu and characters, It's a complete blast. The game is a beautiful piece of art from all angles and its rocks the bethesda rpg style so well, just like it's Brothers skyrim and Oblivion. People do say its like Fallout 4 or Oblivion in space and yes it is that!. It's that and some more, so if you like these style of games with deep exploration and gameplay, this should be a perfect fit for you. If you like Jrpgs or games like baldurs gate, that involve more strategy and thinking, this probably won't be that. I personally think this is one of, if not the best space action and rpg games ever made and since I'm a Sci fi geek who love spaces and adventure, along with all the extra feats of quality and detail the game has given me, I call this a hole in one. A bright start in the galaxy. Great time to be a gamer with all the great games we have in 2023 leading into 2025… Expand

The game tackles its design challenges in a very confident manner: it's never too complicated, yet its not shallow, just the right balance between all of its intertwined systems.     I’d give this a 9.5 if they allowed it, there are definitely some issues that need ironing out. But overall, this is the best Xbox exclusive since the Xbox 360 era, and one of the best looking games of all time. I catch myself doing a lot of “slow pans”, it’s the perfect game to chill out and look at the stars.

    If you love bethesda, you will love this game!
    The bad reviews are largely coming from salty sony Ponys. It's sad that it has come to this. I'm 40 hours in this game and I'm loving every minute!

    Il a certes des defauts mais ils sont vite gommé pars les nombreuses qualités qu il a a offrir.

    Ce jeu est tres immersif et offre une aventure grandiose avec un enorme contenu.

    Pros: - Graphics are great and the game ran fine on ultra with 60 fps. - There're plenty of quests - The loading screens are quick, had few ignorable bugs and 1 crash in 25 hours - Mod support - Plenty of customization - Can choose how your character plays, can be a trader, a scavenger, a pirate, e.t.c.    8/10, I gave it a 10 because the review bombing is a joke.

    Pros:

    Lo recomiendo al 100%, cada misión, cada diálogo, cada escenario son perfectos al 100%, no es lo que mucha gente esperaba pero para mi es un 9/10 (quitando bugs que arreglarán en un futuro) Y los mods van a darle mucha vida y eso que ya parece infinito.

    Im loving this game, im surprised the user score is so low! the planets are beautiful, im enjoying the story, i love the customizability of the guns, ships and suits, and the area to explore when you land is massive. I do hope a patch comes out for stability on PC, but every AAA game released this year has been problematic for me on launch.

    One of the greatest RPGs of all time, an entire universe at the player's disposal, a game has never been so ambitious, I'm happy to be part of this story.
    Bethesda outdid itself, hardly a game will be as gigantic as this one! Enjoy Starfield one of the greatest games of all time.

    I have an RTX 3070 & a AMD 9 3900XT and the game runs fine for me. I'm level 33 now and have run into some bugs in the later parts of the game but all in all it's the best game I've played in years.

    I played 40hours and I already know that it will be the first game, since Skyrim (2011), in which I'll play at least 300h.

    I spent 40hours exploring planets and discovering this amazing game. If you loved skyrim and elite dangerous Odyssey, then this game is made for you. Do not listen to any critics, just try it. For those who liked Skyrim and or fallout then it a really good game.    I played 40hours and I already know that it will be the first game, since Skyrim (2011), in which I'll play at least 300h.

    This is like Skyrim in space but with S tier plots. The main story and Crimson fleet missions are amazing. The vast majority of negative reviews are coming from people who have a PC that can't run the game well, or possible never even played it

    Es un juego de Bethesda, tanto para lo bueno como para lo malo. Las pantallas de carga no molestan tanto, en un juego tan grande no me gustaría tener que pasar tanto tiempo yendo de una punta a otra solo para completar una misión secundaria. Llevo más de 50 horas y no se me terminan las posibilidades, es un buen juego pero a la gente le gusta criticar, mi nota es un 9 - 9,5 pero paraEs un juego de Bethesda, tanto para lo bueno como para lo malo.     Queria entender o povo que odeia Starfield apenas por ser do Xbox. Fazia tempo que um jogo não me prendia assim (olha que mal joguei Fallout e The Elder Scrolls). Os 30 FPS está bem suave até mesmo em PCs, não atrapalha a jogabilidade. Tudo que foi mostrado no Starfield Direct, tem no jogo.

    It’s an amazing game, it requires a bit of maturity to appreciate it as it’s not over the top like a lot of games now a days.

    If you go in looking for faults you will find them, but if you can move past those there is a galaxy of incredible content

    I’m about 60 hours in and haven’t even scratched the surface of this game. It is absolutely enormous!! The planets that I’ve traveled to so far have been gorgeously presented, It probably has a lot to do with the lighting. Lighting in this game is next level! The graphics are gorgeous and gameplay overall is really fun.     I'm enjoying this game too much, its mechanics, gamplay and its secondary missions are everything you can expect from a Bethesda game but what I'm enjoying the most and it makes me very happy is that the stupid people at Playstation can't play it :D

    I'm 50+ hours into the game and i just love it. It has some minor flaws but in general it's just an amazing and fascinating game. Btw it's a Bethesda RPG, not the Microsoft Space Simulator.

My wife also plays and at first she was more skeptical, now it has turned into all she has played since early access. Anyone review bombing this or giving negative reviews is most likely doing so out of spite or hasn't played.

    Bethesda makes    I'm absolutely blow away by Starfield. I have been following it since it was first revealed and have had high hopes for it from the beginning. My wife also plays and at first she was more skeptical, now it has turned into all she has played since early access. Anyone review bombing this or giving negative reviews is most likely doing so out of spite or hasn't played.

    Bethesda makes Bethesda games. All of their open world games be it Skyrim, Fallout or now Starfield have some similar mechanics that will translate from one game to the next depending on the setting. I feel that they did a phenomenal job of taking those mechanics and updating them for this release.

    Crafting: Spacesuit and Weapon modification, Outpost and Ship construction, Research and Pharma terminals. The crafting will have you consumed with wanting to do more and more. The ship building is especially addicting as it can be seen as a mobile base. I'm just about to crack into outpost building but from what I've seen as what's possible in game, it looks equally addicting.

    Main and Side Quests: I wish I could tell you my opinion on the main questline, but I keep getting pulled away by bounty hunting, side quests, getting kidnapped in someone else's ship, etc that each day I log in it feels like I'm playing a whole new game. I had the same experience in Skyrim, but where I could do a couple side quests, do some adventure then touch the main story line in skyrim, I find myself devoting whole play sessions to other stuff I discover. For example, last night I wanted to start building an outpost, but then I discovered I can go to the outskirts of the main city, New Atlantis. While I was out there I got ambushed by Pirates, found an autonomous farm and a smuggler ship waiting for a package mule. Suffice it to say, I did not end up building my outpost, but I had one heck of a time.

    Combat: Both On foot and in space combat is greatly improved over previous Bethesda titles (on foot). I am astonished by how much improvement they have done to this system. Combat feels engaging and rewarding. Adding in the Jump pack and you getting verticality over enemies can put a smile on your face quick. Additionally the varying states of gravity can spice up combat really quick. One time i was on a disabled ship and the ship's gravity kept turning on and off, meaning stuff was floating and falling everywhere. You also can feel the benefit of additional traits, skill unlocks and buffs provided by each weapon. I spend a lot of time in Star Citizen so I can tell you that Starfield is not a space sim, however what it does get right is that spaceship combat does feel exciting. Blowing up an enemy ship feels very rewarding with hits to the hull flaking off pieces and modules; but disabling someone's ship and boarding it is way more fun. After you board, the crew of the ship is waiting for your attack in pockets of the ship, with your job being to clear it, take any valuable items and get out.

    Looting: Sometimes i go out and loot what I need, other's I go out and loot what I want. There is so many items to find, and you can use these items to decorate your room, ship and outpost and everything has 100% persistence. At the stage I'm at, I feel like I'm still discovering new weapons even after having discovered a ton.

    Graphics: Graphically I am ultra impressed with the fidelity and detail given to each weapon, suit, ship and interior. This has to be one of Bethesda's crowing achievements in open world games with the amount of attention given in every space. Even things like computer stations that aren't functional will have you getting in close to see what is going on. Graphical performance has been pretty great for my machine, but I am running a fairly high end rig. I have also played on XBox and while the increased frame rate on PC is awesome, running at 30fps playing from the couch can be just as enjoyable.

    Bugs: I know some have said they have experienced a few, I however have not.

    Improvements I'd like to see: While I'm giving the game a 10/10, it isn't without a few things I would like to see added or improved. These are relatively small items and doesn't ruin the experience.
    -Ground vehicles need to be added for exploration. Even if it's a relatively slow lunar rover style buggy from the Apollo missions, it would certainly help and could even expand cargo space on exploration hikes.
    -Optimization (PC): The game has been optimized well for AMD cards, however I am running an NVIDIA card and would love to see native DLSS support.
    -In Game Radio: Look I know it's not fallout, but with the SSNN (Settled Systems News Network) being a thing, I don't see why I can't tune into it in my ship where right now I have to go to an SSNN kiosk and listen.

    Summary: Starfield is one of my favorite games of all time. I've longed to get lost in another Skyrim/FO type experience, now I am. I will be deep in the Starfield for years to come.    … Expand

    It's an well polished game that allows to do things that were not possible in the gaming world the same things that Rockstar games tried to approach but it seems Bethesda really went deep into these interactive gaming features without mentioning how amazing it is to notice the NPCs improving each time you play the game I mean space exploration never have been better ,nice job xbox & bathesda.

    I’m glad to report they were wrong.

    It’s a Bethesda game through and through.
    You’ll be bombarded , by such a high volume of side quests , and side quests between the side quests , that you’ll explore a lot of what this universe has to offer (and it has A LOT to offer) without even noticing.

    There is such a massive amount of handcrafted content , and planet locations…That you’ll really see no reason (or have no time) to spend 20 minutes running on a straight line to see if there are invisible walls somewhere.

    On my 68 hours of gameplay , I haven’t once stumbled upon this infamous invisible walls , and I have been exploring a lot.

    I’m not saying they aren’t there , I’m saying that the only way you will break your “immersion” on starfield , is if you are looking for it. Lookign for flaws , trying to look behind the curtain.

    I repeat I’m 68 hours in and i feel I have barely scratched the surface.

    I haven’t even got serious with the mining stuff.

    Starfield has achieved to scratch 2 big itches simultaneously for me:

    I have been wanting an space game.
    And I have been wanting a Bethesda game.

    And starfield is good at both things.

    -Jumping on a rocky moon with low gravity , watching the stars and galaxies above you and suddenly see the gas giant with its huge rings appear above the Horizon, while starfield’s amazing soundtrack sounds in the background? Check.

    -Having space fights , or boarding enemy spaceships and taking control of them? Check

    -finding abandoned space stations/casinos/research facilities etc floating outside random planets , docking to them and having amazing 0 gravity fights with pirates or spacers or whatever is inside them?

    -Rol playing whoever you want to be and However you want to be and create your own story like only Bethesda games let you? Check

    Having a gazillion side quests , well written , original and non-repetitive ? Check

    Amazing atmosphere and story? Check

    Good side characters and voice acting? Check

    Good graphics? Check

    Good ship creating and customization?
    Check check check

    And most importantly, am I having a lot of fun and about to end this review without spell checking it Because I want to jump back into starfield?

    Starfield has its flaws, but it's a pretty good game. The graphics are stunning, the gameplay is awesome so far, and the freedom to explore a vast universe is impressive. It's like Fallout, but in space!

    From the Start You're A Nobody Kinda? And then you can create a character and that's where it's like okay this game has potential. And then there are backgrounds, and it's just great that you can make the character you want, and you can do what you want then I start doing some quests and exploring then I'm like ohh I want to make    Starfield......

    then I start doing some quests and exploring then I'm like ohh I want to make a ship then I explore in my new ship then a space battle happens and the space battles are fun when you get the hang of it then you start building an outpost looking what materials I need and how to link them together, so it's all automated and trying to make it look good and next thing I know I'm 70+ hours in. I can tell you that this game if you give it time and do side quests and explore and go in with an open mind you will have the time of your life
    but of course it's not perfect and yes it does seem a bit short plus (but that could also just be because I had such a good time that it seemed short) there are a few bugs I've encountered and yes they can be annoying but once you get past it its fine again, and I have crashed 2 times but other than that I've had an amazing time and I have like 8GB graphics card and 32GB ram and an i7, so I don't have like an extremely expensive pc, and I'm happy with the game and there just so much to do also I've never hit a planet boundary I know that most content creators and other people are complaining about the loading screens and planet boundaries, but I explored a planet for a good 1 to 2 hours and never hit it but of course I didn't go in a straight line, but personally I don't think it's an issue most people are not going to encounter the boundaries unless they are trying to.
    And the loading screen aren't a problem most games have some sort of loading screen in them even most games today and this game is like 100x bigger than most games, so it's kinda expected yk.
    I would recommend this game to anyone who wants to have fun and yes it's my new fave game and I didn't sleep for 2 days because I was playing this game.    … Expand

    This is another great BGS game, a fantastic open world sandbox experience. While yes, exploration is tackled differently this time around, it's still an absolute joy when you got used to it. So many interesting locations, people, stories, creatures and planets to find.

The dialogues are excellent and full of details, the exploration is vast, the character customization is incredible, and the ship building system is complex, but rewarding once you get used to it. The quests are varied and exciting, the storyline is engaging, theStarfield is definitely a true RPG, which will appeal to fans of Bethesda's previous games, like Fallout and Skyrim, especially. The dialogues are excellent and full of details, the exploration is vast, the character customization is incredible, and the ship building system is complex, but rewarding once you get used to it. The quests are varied and exciting, the storyline is engaging, the companions you meet are captivating, and the soundtrack is perfect and memorable, and the more you play, the more things you'll discover on your own. The negative points I observed do not affect the gameplay, but they can break the player's immersion a little at specific moments, but nothing alarming. If you are willing to delve into a world rich in details, challenges and if you like to read and explore, this game has a lot to offer, but if you are looking for a basic gaming experience and not very challenging and complex, it might be better to avoid Starfield.     I fell in love with Starfield. It's my cup of sci-fi and I can't wait to spend the next thirty, fifty, maybe seventy hours here. I enjoy the exploration, the shootouts, the art style, the ship building, and the diverse worlds. I gratefully acknowledge the good optimization and the absence of major bugs. But I can't overlook the flaws. There are bad animations, ugly faces and repetitive moments.[Issue#329]

    In a year dominated by sequels to franchise favorites, there was a hope that Starfield would carve its own path to success. While the team at Bethesda should be commended for taking such a big swing, there’s no denying that the game doesn’t feel like a cohesive work. Maybe continued support and future sequels will make something more meaningful out of a work that is clearly deeply enamored with both science fiction and space exploration. Unforunately, this first launch has had far more mixed results than desired.
