    The game is just amazing.

    Bethesda has made a breakthrough in the industry. Everything is perfect in this game, a large number of various quests, exploration of the open world, a feeling of the endless emptiness of space.

    Of the shortcomings, only the main plot, as well as the beginning of the game, can be noted. It can ruin your entire gaming experience.

    The game has its drawbacks, especially in the form of underdeveloped large cities. However, everything else in the game is fantastic, captivating for hours on end, and sparks a strong interest in playing. Exploring the planets in Starfield is pure bliss.

    Dont believe the sony fanboys review bombing!. Game is amazing. It's skyrim but in outer space. If you loved all the bethesda games (outside of fallout 76) you will LOVE starfield. There is more to do than skyrim. The factions have more depth and are more interesting than elder scrolls guilds (like thieves and dark brotherhood) Has a TON of replay ability.     This game is not perfect but it is very good. I wanted a better ending, a better exploration with ships, a better campaign, but who cares. Everything else is very good and I enjoy it immensely. Going to 70 hours of gameplay and happy, more than anyone else this year.

Starfield is basically Skyrim/Fallout in space looks and plays great and is Bethesda's most polished game ever!     Im fully recommend playing on pc with amd hardware for better experience. On amd hardware you have great experience with FSR 2.2.1. Hopefully FSR 3.0 coming to starfield too on both pc and Xbox series X|S

    Starfield is the best role-playing game Bethesda has ever developed. It's triple-A level No Man's Sky mixed with Fallout 5, Cyberpunk 2077 and a lot of Mass Effect. It does a lot right, but still won't make everyone happy.

    It's been years since I've had so much fun with a game. Not sure why so many people are giving it a low review. The game is pretty much Fallout 4 meets Mass Effect, but with much improved combat. Only thing that really bothers me is the game not supporting HDR. Everything looks kinda washed out. I was able to get the HDR working with mods, but kind of a shame the game just doesn't supportIt's been years since I've had so much fun with a game. Not sure why so many people are giving it a low review. The game is pretty much Fallout 4 meets Mass Effect, but with much improved combat.     Thank you, Todd! The best RPG over here for last 10 years. It has it cons (part of which can be fixed with mods), but Starfield covers it with hella lot of content. For new players I recommend to finish main quest line and start NG+.

    I had tempered expectations going into Starfield, not having played a BGS game since Morrowind. This game ended up exceeding all of my expectations. It's a seriously fun game, and after all isn't that what gaming is so about?

    After playing for more than 40 hrs I feel like I am just getting started. The game is awesome, the universe is really good the gameplay is great and the story is amazing. The main story and all the side stories are really good. It's a must-play for me. I feel like I will be playing the game for years.

    This game has a slow Introduction, but once you passed the 10/15 hours its so unbelievable amazing.. The game is so huge, the technical aspect is also amazing. So many possibilities in this game. This game finally gives me the feels i need to bring me back into a game. Thanks Bethesda!

    I don't get what the bad reviews are. Is this fanboys or what? I've heard that people didn't like loading screens (which game doesn't have them?). Which I slightly understand, but that makes the game an 8 at worst. I'm old school so it didn't bug me. It's flawless. Perfection Todd. You did it.

    I can't stop playing this game! It's one of the best RPG games I've ever played. I always wanted a Cowboy Bebop style game and my dreams came true. The level and sound design is very good. See you space cowboy.

    I've been gaming for about 25 years, but this is my first BGS game and I really didn't expect to love it as much as I do. There are some bugs and performance issues but they really don't detract from the experience in any major way. I can easily recommend this game to anyone, just make sure you set aside some time to really get lost in it.

    If you are a fan of BGS games you will love this game. If you are expecting some next gen space simulation game then you will be disappointed. It really is Skyrim in space for better and worse. For me that is amazing because Skyrim is one of my favorite games of all time.

    Over 40hrs So far it has offered a good experience (feels like only play 5% of the game)

    Experience: For the fun, adventure, and immersion it offers, I give it a 10/10. AI Concern: If I were to nitpick, the game's AI could use some improvements. Adjusting for this, a more critical rating might be a 9/10 but is 10 for me overall long time ago have so much freedom on the game (alive).     With this vastness comes this enormous feeling of discovering what could happen if I go there. Maybe nothing happens, and I have a beautiful view to enjoy or build a post in a remote place in space.

    the graphics are good story is ok (not great, unfortunately) it is a Bethesda game, so if you like they're games you will like this otherwise....... but keep in mind the ship doesn't have real space travel, it has some space battles and fast travel, you can't travel from planet A to planet b without fast travel. if you    good game.. i'll say between 7-8,

    The graphics: They may not be insane high resolution graphics but the way its displayed does wonders, i landed on a moon of a red ringed gas giant, the moon was so close to it, the planet took up 70% of the sky and the rings looked like they was cutting into the horizon, i was so close i could actually see the rings moving! particles of rocks and debris orbiting at unhead of speeds, looked like a saw blade. the lighting does this game extreme justice in most scenarios, its so atmospheric.

    The story: As i said above, the story made me question how i view life, changed my views, and guided me down a healthier path. The ending gives you so much room to build your own opinion, and certain characters have such unique viewpoints on everything, like barret for example, his own words and wisdom helped me in rough times. I cant go into to much detail without spoilers, but certain things happen... and they really....really hit hard, and show you values of life and death without holding any punches. im bewildered to why people are saying its boring and written poorly.

    The gameplay: Exploration in this game is what you would expect from real life exploration most of the time. and i love that! landing on pluto to find a barren lifeless cold world so far away from the sun, mining its resources in extremely low gravity, and finding some abandoned civilian outpost that told a story about "escaping the monotony of life" was all extremely entertaining to me, then landing on some world that really makes you think of world of warcrafts highland fields. invoking extreme nostalgia in me as i explored the brown tall grassed wheat like fields, being chased down by literal fire breathing rock like dragons. even named dragons in the game. the sense of wonder on a weird brain themed planet was also crazy to experience, floating brain creatures and plants that have pulsating meat for bodies. exploration in this game brought out the inner star trek fan in me. i even made my build around surveying and scanning.

    RPG elements: This is indeed a bethesda game, your choice matters, and it changes the game significantly. You will not have the same experience again unless you try to, and even then, random events might change that. There is no shortage of choices and things to side path into. the new game plus adds to this by letting you try again in a more convenient way, for new experiences each time. Cant give it enough praise.

    Sound: I wont lie, the sound is not realistic at all, but i think this is a good thing, would be boring hearing nothing most of the time and muffling on low atmosphere planets. space doesnt really like sound... would be a boring game if it was realistic that way. but the sound design is wonderful! the buzz of strange artifacts to the wildlife on a strange world. There is a lot of variety.

    AI: Now the ai isnt perfect, but name one game where it is, this ai is still miles ahead of previous bethesda games, i saw enemies retreat and spread out on both sides to hit me from all corners when they realized a direct approach wasnt working, i had to actually work my way to a new position to survive. They will still get stuck "taking" cover though, i dont think creation engine will ever fix this... but still, having to change my playstyle to match theirs was something i didnt expect from bethesda, good on them.

    Loot: I was still finding brand new gun models entirely at level 50. There is no shortage on weapons of any kind. Then you have rarities, and perks for them. finding unique items that act way differently than the model normally would. i found myself wanting to keep everything and struggling to pick what to sell. So much choice. it inspired me to change up what build i was going for 4 times!

    Random encounters: I came across a fleet battle where i got to choose the side i wanted, helped out in a insane dogfight frenzy as 2 capital class ships bombarded eachother, after the battle, i received a nearly 3 hour questline to pursue. If this doesnt scream how good bethesda is at random events, i dont know what does.

    Lets address the elephant in the room, just looking at the score of this game screams how obviously split everyone is, its all 0's or 10's. You know what else is obvious? The 0's all say the same crap, they are DEFINITELY sony ponies. dont trust the review bombing, look at the more intricate reviews that are long and filled with splitting information on categories.     If you didn't like Skyrim or Fallout pass on, if you liked those game you're probably already playing it.

    Maybe Starfield is not a perfect game. But it is an Xbox-exclusive game.
    I understand where the hate is coming from. Either you hate the stupid UI, the infinite loading screens, or even the fact that it's an Xbox exclusive.
    But it is the best RPG game that I've played for years.

    Bref, n'écoutez pas les rageux qui ne peuvent pas jouer au jeu et qui par conséquent font leur caca nerveux.
    Ils suffit de constater le review bambins de la part des prépubère Playstation.

    Et ceux qui le comparent à Elite Dangerous ou Star Citizen, la comparaison n'a pas lieu d'être.
    En même temps peut ton faire confiance à des gens qui claquent plusieurs centaines, voire milliers d'euros dans une alpha de 15 ans d'âge qui a tout point de vue est une pyramide de Ponzi, le tout optimisée par un stagiaire de 3eme, avec des pnj amorphe et des planètes aussi vide que la tête d'un électeur d'extrême droite...

    Starfield est tout le contraire c'est solo, narratif, addictif et fun

    Bethesda managed with Starfield what I can only describe as a masterpiece of open world game design. An extremely well done main quest combined with engaging faction questlines and hundreds of fun side quests spread across a vast, massive galaxy and combined with a solid update in graphics since their last title makes this one of the greatest games I have played in years.

    Better than I could have imagined. This is truly a masterpiece by Bethesda. The amount of content and story here is incredible. Sad to see most low-rated reviews either people who are too used to having their hand held through everything, and/or not knowing how to properly play the game. Real Bethesda fans will love this.

    Visuals are a step up from any previous Bethesda Game, gun mechanics are pretty damn good, not COD type because it's not trying to be a competitive shooter. both 3rd person modes are great as well. You can see the love that was poured into this game with all items, perfectly crafted. lighting is superb as well.
    This is easily Game Of The Year Material and will be more played game of the year.

    Don't listen to hate reviews and comments, go try the game yourself and leave your thoughts. If you love Bethesda Games you will love this masterpiece, lots of love poured into this game. thanks Bethesda and Xbox.    … Expand

    I fell in love with Starfield. It's my cup of sci-fi and I can't wait to spend the next thirty, fifty, maybe seventy hours here. I enjoy the exploration, the shootouts, the art style, the ship building, and the diverse worlds. I gratefully acknowledge the good optimization and the absence of major bugs.     In a year dominated by sequels to franchise favorites, there was a hope that Starfield would carve its own path to success. While the team at Bethesda should be commended for taking such a big swing, there’s no denying that the game doesn’t feel like a cohesive work. Maybe continued support and future sequels will make something more meaningful out of a work that is clearly deeply enamored with both science fiction and space exploration. Unforunately, this first launch has had far more mixed results than desired.
