    I'm personally having a blast playing the game. The relaxing & casual pace of everything resonates with me. If you enjoyed Fallout 4 and Skyrim, you'll most likely enjoy Starfield. The graphics are descent and definetly better than 2 previously mentioned games. Lots of stuff to do and get sidetracked on. I personally like the skill point progression system. Feels like you have to actuallyI'm personally having a blast playing the game. The relaxing & casual pace of everything resonates with me. My most recent game was Diablo IV and I really enjoyed it until endgame. I really had no desire to go back in to it because of lack of content.     Simply love this game. It has so much content. It will keep me playing for months. Only downside is the limit to 30fps on consoles.

    10 hours in the game and so far I experienced only 1 bug, restarted the game and the bugs goes away. Only problem is there is no local map it is so hard to navigate through large cities especially New Atlantis.

Here you can spend hours building your ship, hours crafting and arranging furniture in your home, hours mining resources and exploring planets, trading, transporting contraband, fighting on ships, stealing things, hiring companions, improving guns and spacesuits, cooking, helping    Amazing game, if not for terrible optimization...
    This game has everything to keep you entertained for hours. Here you can spend hours building your ship, hours crafting and arranging furniture in your home, hours mining resources and exploring planets, trading, transporting contraband, fighting on ships, stealing things, hiring companions, improving guns and spacesuits, cooking, helping random passersby, play your role and receive dissatisfaction or approval from others, complete quests in different ways. You can do literally anything!
    I started the game late in the evening and it didn’t let me go until the morning, you really feel the atmosphere of space here, and the side quests are like small stories inside this world. After the first story quest, I came across some completely random additional quest and this line of quests told me the whole story of the conspiracy and took me 6-8 hours to complete it, and then it became more and more interesting to play. It was really fun, I don't understand why some people think the game is boring. It's definitely not a game for everyone, but it's a good, worthwhile game in the classic Bethesda style.
    The game had every chance to become a hit and personally my favorite for many years, if not for one thing, the optimization here is truly terrible. The picture is nice and beautiful, but I would like to have 1080p 60 fps on my RTX 4060, and not ~30-45 :D I could only start playing comfortably at 60-80 frames with a DLSS mod. It’s very sad that the optimization was taken care of by enthusiasts and not by Bethesda.    … Expand

    Almost 2 days of playtime completed on PC & Xbox (cross save). I loved Fallout 3 and 4. However, Starfield is by far my most favorite Bethesda game. I’ve never played so much of a game and still felt pleasantly surprised that I’ve only scratched the surface. I can see myself playing Starfield for months, if not years. If you meet the game halfway, you’ll have an amazing time. Enjoy! PS:Almost 2 days of playtime completed on PC & Xbox (cross save). I loved Fallout 3 and 4.     go look at steam reviews for actual reviews 90% of the people reviewing the game have never touched it in their life and are just review bombing it because for once the ps5 didnt get the exclusive. i never saw anyone review bombing ragnorok but now all of yall go crazy over one game.

    Jogo fantástico, a campanha em si mostra o maior ponto forte que a Bethesda possui em seus jogos, a narrativa! Incrível como o jogo consegue deixar claro a liberdade que você tem em relação a cursos que você pode tomar na sua história e etc... Atualmente conto com mais de 50 horas e sigo em frente pra chegar nos 1000G.

    El juego es excelente. Tiene ciertas mecánicas que resultan un poco agobiantes, como lo incómodo de sus menús. Si te sales de la historia principal el juego carece de contenidos novedosos. Fuera de eso, es una propuesta magnánima. No es de 10, pero sí de 9.

    Saying the game doesn't have depth or anything like that is disengenious. Most of the people that didn't like it are people that came with the wrong expectations, because of themselves, Bethesda was very clear about the game systems. As many thought that Cyberpunk 2077 was going to be a futuristic GTA, those people think that    A return of Bethesda to it's great games, like Oblivion.

    It throws alot at you right away and dosent really explain much in the beginning and it can be intimidating therefore making the opening hours a little slow but you will have your "everything clicks" moment if you continue down the main Quest for a little while.
    the space map can take a little while to get used to, random NPCs look ugly the space travel might not be what some expect.

    But still the universe bethesda has built is an immersive one, it is bethesdas most polished game to date and honestly possibly their best game to date.

    This is the only game to give me the “Skyrim-feel” since Skyrim. Bethesda knocked it out the park with this one. If you go into it expecting a seemless space sim, then you won’t like it, because that’s not what it is. It is, rather, a bethesda RPG, if you’re a fan of their formula (which I very much am) then you’ll love this game.

    I am now 35 hours in, but i felt i had to write a review to counter balance the review bomb. Because dont let you be told otherwise. this is a great game. It has a slow and boring start but the more you play the better it gets. Especialy the side quests. The stories that are being told are simple amazing and the best work bethesda has done. For every quest you complete you get 4 more in return. also the game has a lot of hearth and it can be very cozy and immersive. And the attention to detail is insane. You can see they hired the dude from the skyrim clutter mod because every item you can pick up looks amazing. I am currently collecting monster plushies and coffee mugs. But...

    It does struggle on my pc. With a 3700x and a 2080TI i thought i could handle it. I was wrong. i can barely get 60fps on 1440p on high and ultra with fsr in outside zones. Still even at 30 fps its playable and you dont really notice it. the graphics do look good but i feel not that good for bringing my 2080ti to its knees already. The other gripe i have is the exploration and space travel. I expected more of a space sim. But it is really a bethesda rpg. think about skyrim or fallout in space. Once i accepted that the exploration became fun again. All the other critisim like facial expressions and all the other things you hear really dont bother me.

    Anyway, i love the game. the easter eggs and attention to detail is amazing and you should experience this.    … Expand

I rate it 10 instead of 8-9 to balance the things a lil bit with haters. In terms of that. I’ve been a PS player for 12 years, and gave a chance to Xbox 2 years ago for the lack of ps5 supply. I’m so happy for that now. And things like this review bombingOk, the game is a promising 8 for me. And that’s great, because it looks it’s gonna grow with the past of time with dlc and updates.     I wish we could travel the stars like in Star Citizen instead of loading screens though. Travels are parts of the journey.

    Me sorprendio lo basto del mundo, aunque los viajes estelares dejan un poco que desear, me esta fascinando tanta locura que pasa en el juego, vale completamente la pena perderse en lo basto de su universo.

    Excelente juego, aunq no es perfecto, es un buen exponente de Bethesda, yo le pondría un 9 pero con tanta gente haciendo mala campaña, sin siquiera haberlo jugado aporto con un punto mas.

    30 hours in, I'm still enjoying the stories, factions and the world Bethesda has set us in. I'm going to be completely objective and I want to tell you to totally discard any reviews only pointing out the negatives and rating the game less than average. There's a huge hate wagon for nothing.

    Bethesda definitely added a lot on top of their previous product, as they do each time.    30 hours in, I'm still enjoying the stories, factions and the world Bethesda has set us in. I'm going to be completely objective and I want to tell you to totally discard any reviews only pointing out the negatives and rating the game less than average. There's a huge hate wagon for nothing.

    Bethesda definitely added a lot on top of their previous product, as they do each time. Character models, quests and the open world interaction are a lot more in depth than each previous title made, the vastness of randomly generated worlds really puts things in perspective and I can't imagine the mods that will come.

    Things that I liked:
    - Constellation: I loved the concept of a diverse group of people secluded from society, set to explore the deepest and farthest points in the systems. Feels like the best fit for the story.
    - Ship building: I've already spent hours trying out combinations, I'm sure mods will take this to the ROOF.
    - World depth, factions: I want to say that the world of Starfield feels a lot more immersive and in-depth than the previous games made by BGS. Factions have very characteristic and are fun to delve into.

    What I took out points for is:
    - Lack of orbital cruise: there could really be some sort of cinematic loading screens while exiting or entering a planet's orbit, with ability to fly in it with our ship.
    - Lack of player control during landing and take-off: explains itself, wish we could manually land and take-off from anywhere we wanted.
    - Tedious walking: I get that distance and travel should be a thing in space to make it feel like it's space but we seriously don't need it on foot. Wish there were ground vehicles like offroad bikes or something.
    - Tedious navigation: I get that the user could not use fast travel but with the lack of a detailed flight model, the only interaction/gameplay in space is just fast traveling into a new system for a ship scan for 10 seconds before opening the map to select a place to land to. Why are the ships then? Wish we were forced to at least sit through the jumps for 10-15 seconds to give a sense of distance and travel.

    There's tons of potential for plenty of mods when the Creation Kit will be available, I'm looking forward to them. It's definitely a bigger "level-up" from Fallout 4 than what Fallout 4 was after Skyrim but unrealistic expectations led to this hate wagon on here. It's definitely well above average of a game but what I criticized above definitely doesn't put this title in the GOTY category for me.

    Although I have full faith in the modding community so, we'll see. I'll be having fun playing until then.    … Expand

    I liked the story , the dialogues even the stories in side missions are great ngl
    the gameplay especially the shooting mechanics are just better than Fallout 4
    Graphics are just beautiful .
    But please try to optimize the game or add DLSS

    Starfield has an unique open world and marvelous rpg at the same time. It have some minor problems(bugs,performance issues,ai...etc) that caused by its old engine and as i see bethesda didn't do much to develop these negatives. But for me overall a good game still.

The game is a beautiful piece of art from all angles and its rocks the bethesda rpg style so well, just like it's Brothers skyrim and Oblivion. People do say its like Fallout 4 or Oblivion in space and yes it is that!. It's that and some more, so if you like these style of games with deep exploration and gameplay, this should be a perfect fit for you. If you like Jrpgs or games like baldurs gate, that involve more strategy and thinking, this probably won't be that. I personally think this is one of, if not the best space action and rpg games ever made and since I'm a Sci fi geek who love spaces and adventure, along with all the extra feats of quality and detail the game has given me, I call this a hole in one. A bright start in the galaxy. Great time to be a gamer with all the great games we have in 2023 leading into 2025… Expand

    The engine which powers Bethesda games provides many technical limitations, but it is also the source of Bethesda's immense ability to create living persistent worlds. Your enjoyment of Starfield is reliant on which you prioritize. Unfortunately, those    Bethesda's long awaited new universe is a polarizing marvel. It fails in places very important to some and insignificant to others.

    The engine which powers Bethesda games provides many technical limitations, but it is also the source of Bethesda's immense ability to create living persistent worlds. Your enjoyment of Starfield is reliant on which you prioritize.

    Unfortunately, those technical limitations, cracks in the experience, which in past titles were so easily airbrushed away, are now as wide and deep as canyons. They are glaring indictments of Bethesda's inability to move engines. Bethesda has so much time and effort invested in their jalopy of an engine it would mean a disastrous loss of productivity to switch at this point.

    That being said, the design choices that hurt the most seem informed by technical limitation. I do not understand for the life of me why in-menu fast-travel is so prominent in a game centered around space ships. I understand the need to remove the void of travel to provide a tighter narrative experience, but space sims have had warp drives since the 80s, Starfield has warp (grav) drives. That, IS your fast travel system. Menu travel makes a universe of 100s of planets feel as small as Skyrim.

    Bethesda's RPGs have historically had terrible menus so it stands to reason that the their games feel the best when you are out of them for long stretches. Unfortunately, Starfield is their most menu heavy game to date. Half the game is played in menus. I understand that releasing on consoles creates limitations, such as requiring annoying lists of equipment, but why, when playing on a keyboard, are the keys that have similar functions different depending on what I'm doing? Its an unintuitive and frustrating mess.

    Starfield excels at many things. The scope of the content is massive. Its easy to b-line it through the main storyline and treat the other quests as "side-quests", but they are anything but. These are fully voice acted narratives that take you around the galaxy and feel like Starfield launched with built in DLC. The writing is rough in areas, but never outwrite bad and the characters are complex and deep.

    Ship building is well implemented, not being too restrictive or complex, while still feeling like there is some engineering complexity to conquer. It would have been great if exotic ship part blueprints were found as loot or just more parts in general, but the feature is a highlight, regardless.

    Combat is, what you would expect from an RPG shooter. Bullet sponge slogs or insignificant short scuffles. Rarely can they find the sweet spot. The savior here is the weapon design, which are both pleasing and interesting. The AI does an admirable job while in combat, but falls back on decades old design of AI "Amnesia". Stay hidden for long enough, and they will go about their day, like you didn't just murder half of them 30 seconds ago.

    In many ways Bethesda RPGs are platforms on which to build your own experience; playing how you want, modding how you please, changing what you don't like, and adding more of that which you do. The promise of community improvements and content goes a long way with some, and means little to others.

    Its easy to fault Starfield. The Bethesda formula and trademark Bethesda jank are getting stale. The limitation of the technology are on full display. The content is deep in odd places and shallow where it often counts the most. Starfield is the best Bethesda RPG since Morrowind, but games are in a different place.     I was waiting for anything to justify my XSX purchase...after Redfall i was ready to give up...so finally Microsoft did something decent.

    95 hours in, Lvl 18 and still have like 30+ quests i didn't touch. Pros: Interesting NPCs, Loot and Combat. Feels like a Spacial Fallout game, wich for me, is not a bad thing at all.     I’d give this a 9.5 if they allowed it, there are definitely some issues that need ironing out. But overall, this is the best Xbox exclusive since the Xbox 360 era, and one of the best looking games of all time. I catch myself doing a lot of “slow pans”, it’s the perfect game to chill out and look at the stars.

    The bad reviews are largely coming from salty sony Ponys. It's sad that it has come to this. I'm 40 hours in this game and I'm loving every minute!

    Starfield is insanely huge, it's so big I legit don't even know what to do first at times. The RPG elements are there, the exploration is there, the genuine fun is there... I couldn't ask for more! Addictive game

    Grande jogo. Absolutamente incrivel. O jogo é super completo e tem tanta coisa para fazer que 200h não são suficientes para explorar tudo.
    Desde os gráficos, à dinâmica e à quantidade de coisas que há para fazer o jogo enche as medidas.
    Pontos negativos: achei os adversários meio fracos e falta mesmo um veículo terrestre mas com o jetpack resolve o problema.

    Lo recomiendo al 100%, cada misión, cada diálogo, cada escenario son perfectos al 100%, no es lo que mucha gente esperaba pero para mi es un 9/10 (quitando bugs que arreglarán en un futuro) Y los mods van a darle mucha vida y eso que ya parece infinito.

    Im loving this game, im surprised the user score is so low! the planets are beautiful, im enjoying the story, i love the customizability of the guns, ships and suits, and the area to explore when you land is massive. I do hope a patch comes out for stability on PC, but every AAA game released this year has been problematic for me on launch.

    Esse é, literalmente, o melhor jogo da bethesda, tanto em questão de otimização, bugs, mecânicas de jogo e história.
    Existem alguns pontos a melhorar, mas nada que justifique o hate que estão dando aqui.

Las pantallas de carga no molestan tanto, en un juego tan grande no me gustaría tener que pasar tanto tiempo yendo de una punta a otra solo para completar una misión secundaria. Llevo más de 50 horas y no se me terminan las posibilidades, es un buen juego pero a la gente le gusta criticar, mi nota es un 9 - 9,5 pero paraEs un juego de Bethesda, tanto para lo bueno como para lo malo.     Queria entender o povo que odeia Starfield apenas por ser do Xbox. Fazia tempo que um jogo não me prendia assim (olha que mal joguei Fallout e The Elder Scrolls). Os 30 FPS está bem suave até mesmo em PCs, não atrapalha a jogabilidade. Tudo que foi mostrado no Starfield Direct, tem no jogo.

    Jogo exepcional, para aqueles que AMAM astronomia e GAMES é uma junção perfeita dos 2 mundos. Une de forma equilibradas elementos da física na realidade e elementos fictícios.

    Nunca achei que conseguiriam fazer isso com tanta maestria, obrigado Bethesda!

    I'm enjoying this game too much, its mechanics, gamplay and its secondary missions are everything you can expect from a Bethesda game but what I'm enjoying the most and it makes me very happy is that the stupid people at Playstation can't play it :D

    I'm 50+ hours into the game and i just love it. It has some minor flaws but in general it's just an amazing and fascinating game. Btw it's a Bethesda RPG, not the Microsoft Space Simulator.

    I'm absolutely blow away by Starfield. I have been following it since it was first revealed and have had high hopes for it from the beginning. My wife also plays and at first she was more skeptical, now it has turned into all she has played since early access. Anyone review bombing this or giving negative reviews is most likely doing so out of spite or hasn't played.

    Bethesda makes Bethesda games. All of their open world games be it Skyrim, Fallout or now Starfield have some similar mechanics that will translate from one game to the next depending on the setting. I feel that they did a phenomenal job of taking those mechanics and updating them for this release.

    Crafting: Spacesuit and Weapon modification, Outpost and Ship construction, Research and Pharma terminals. The crafting will have you consumed with wanting to do more and more. The ship building is especially addicting as it can be seen as a mobile base. I'm just about to crack into outpost building but from what I've seen as what's possible in game, it looks equally addicting.

    Main and Side Quests: I wish I could tell you my opinion on the main questline, but I keep getting pulled away by bounty hunting, side quests, getting kidnapped in someone else's ship, etc that each day I log in it feels like I'm playing a whole new game. I had the same experience in Skyrim, but where I could do a couple side quests, do some adventure then touch the main story line in skyrim, I find myself devoting whole play sessions to other stuff I discover. For example, last night I wanted to start building an outpost, but then I discovered I can go to the outskirts of the main city, New Atlantis. While I was out there I got ambushed by Pirates, found an autonomous farm and a smuggler ship waiting for a package mule. Suffice it to say, I did not end up building my outpost, but I had one heck of a time.

    Combat: Both On foot and in space combat is greatly improved over previous Bethesda titles (on foot). I am astonished by how much improvement they have done to this system. Combat feels engaging and rewarding. Adding in the Jump pack and you getting verticality over enemies can put a smile on your face quick. Additionally the varying states of gravity can spice up combat really quick. One time i was on a disabled ship and the ship's gravity kept turning on and off, meaning stuff was floating and falling everywhere. You also can feel the benefit of additional traits, skill unlocks and buffs provided by each weapon. I spend a lot of time in Star Citizen so I can tell you that Starfield is not a space sim, however what it does get right is that spaceship combat does feel exciting. Blowing up an enemy ship feels very rewarding with hits to the hull flaking off pieces and modules; but disabling someone's ship and boarding it is way more fun. After you board, the crew of the ship is waiting for your attack in pockets of the ship, with your job being to clear it, take any valuable items and get out.

    Looting: Sometimes i go out and loot what I need, other's I go out and loot what I want. There is so many items to find, and you can use these items to decorate your room, ship and outpost and everything has 100% persistence. At the stage I'm at, I feel like I'm still discovering new weapons even after having discovered a ton.

    Graphics: Graphically I am ultra impressed with the fidelity and detail given to each weapon, suit, ship and interior. This has to be one of Bethesda's crowing achievements in open world games with the amount of attention given in every space. Even things like computer stations that aren't functional will have you getting in close to see what is going on. Graphical performance has been pretty great for my machine, but I am running a fairly high end rig. I have also played on XBox and while the increased frame rate on PC is awesome, running at 30fps playing from the couch can be just as enjoyable.

    Bugs: I know some have said they have experienced a few, I however have not.

    Improvements I'd like to see: While I'm giving the game a 10/10, it isn't without a few things I would like to see added or improved. These are relatively small items and doesn't ruin the experience.
    -Ground vehicles need to be added for exploration. Even if it's a relatively slow lunar rover style buggy from the Apollo missions, it would certainly help and could even expand cargo space on exploration hikes.
    -Optimization (PC): The game has been optimized well for AMD cards, however I am running an NVIDIA card and would love to see native DLSS support.
    -In Game Radio: Look I know it's not fallout, but with the SSNN (Settled Systems News Network) being a thing, I don't see why I can't tune into it in my ship where right now I have to go to an SSNN kiosk and listen.

    Summary: Starfield is one of my favorite games of all time. I've longed to get lost in another Skyrim/FO type experience, now I am. I will be deep in the Starfield for years to come.    … Expand

    This is another great BGS game, a fantastic open world sandbox experience. While yes, exploration is tackled differently this time around, it's still an absolute joy when you got used to it. So many interesting locations, people, stories, creatures and planets to find.

    Só quem está jogando sabe como é divertido!
    A parte gráfica TB está excelente, as texturas são um show a parte, muito lindas!     I fell in love with Starfield. It's my cup of sci-fi and I can't wait to spend the next thirty, fifty, maybe seventy hours here. I enjoy the exploration, the shootouts, the art style, the ship building, and the diverse worlds. I gratefully acknowledge the good optimization and the absence of major bugs. But I can't overlook the flaws. There are bad animations, ugly faces and repetitive moments.[Issue#329]

    In a year dominated by sequels to franchise favorites, there was a hope that Starfield would carve its own path to success. While the team at Bethesda should be commended for taking such a big swing, there’s no denying that the game doesn’t feel like a cohesive work. Maybe continued support and future sequels will make something more meaningful out of a work that is clearly deeply enamored with both science fiction and space exploration. Unforunately, this first launch has had far more mixed results than desired.
