Nov 23, 2015I played the beta, it was amazing, first shooter i have actually enjoyed. Then i watched some streams of the real game, and it seemed like the greatest "meh" of all time :

Nov 23, 2015Okay...it's pretty. That's about it. The fact that this is a multiplayer game with no campaign mode takes it out of my sphere of interest. EA not everybody wants to play online with other people! Take a hint before you make your next multiplayer only game.

Nov 23, 2015I REALLY love this game. Graphics, sounds, shooting, vehicle control(only with a controller) and gameplay in general is awesome. But the game lacks content. No campaign, not much solo missions and not many online modes. Everything else is just awesome. If you had fun in walker assault during beta, you should definitely buy the game.

Nov 23, 2015A game that has enjoyed a very nice graphics and sound design but which is completely hollow. Highly repetitive game modes and quickly without interest, no solo campaign. A fast food game for less demanding players.

Nov 23, 20154 times less content than Battlefront 2, it's a shame !! And despite what developers said, there was many DLC's planned before the release of the game and the price of the season pass (to be able to have a "complete game") is just a scandal. EA : Always lying and spitting in players face.
-
Nov 23, 2015-20 hours worth of content for 60 dollars.
-Sugar coated visuals to make it look good.
-Riding hard on the nostalgia train to get players.(but using the same audio files was a good decision though)
-Badly designed vehicle gameplay
-Hero, squad and just overall bad gameplay mechanics.
Worst of all, even Fallout 4 has better shooter mechanics. Seriously what the f? -

Nov 22, 2015So the game gets 1 Point for the Star Wars Atmosphere but none for all the rest. It's shallow and doesn't make fun. I forced myself to play it a few hours but the only mode making really fun is Fighter Squadron and that only if you play the overpowered Rebels.
DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP -
Nov 22, 2015This game really bad...//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Nov 22, 2015Great graphics.
So good in fact, I think they forgot to do the rest of the game.
Nothing new from EA, they're paying off people to make positive comments about the game because it can't stand on it's own, don't buy this. -

Nov 22, 2015I will give it half a point for graphics, and half a point for sound. Pretty game with familiar Star Wars sounds and music. The rest of the game is garbage. Wish I would have purchased it on Origin so I could get a refund.

Nov 22, 2015Absolute lack of content for 60€, DLC's confirmed with the same amount of content, so it's a "DLC" for 60€. EA game = Origin DRM = sh.it.
Conclusion: buy the definitive edition on the folowing gen for 20€. -

CD-ActionFeb 4, 2016A perfect game for short sessions. It’s not deep enough to convince online shooters veterans, but it will definitely win over Star Wars fans. [01/2016, p.34]

Pelit (Finland)Jan 4, 2016Star Wars Battlefront looks and sounds great, and with Battlefield-class gameplay could have ruled the multiplayer galaxy. Unfortunately, at best OK-level, Battlefront-class gameplay is much too shallow to last long. And this is THE one license, which really needs a single player campaign. [Dec 2015]
-
Edge MagazineJan 3, 2016Any semblance of subtlety is abandoned entirely when it comes to the playable Hero and Villain characters. [Jan 2016, p.110]
