Sproggiwood is cute, but there is not enough substance to keep you interested after a couple of hours.

A nice puzzle/TBS game, close to Rust Bucket, Hoplite (on mobile) or Desktop Dungeons or even ADOM (on PC).

    Good:
    - 6 classes, with varied abilities
    - little randomness and overall puzzle feel/gameplay

    So-so:
    - the game obviously was done for mobile first and then ported to PC. Huge buttons, low-res low-detail sprites, simplistic controls and no mouse support (just WASD/direction keys).. Though I didn't find this too annoying.
    - story attempts to be humorous but to me it was just some big pile of nonsense. Dunno, I definitely would have preferred some standard fantasy "hero saves the world" stuff to this mushroom universe. But I imagine some people will enjoy its casual theme

    Bad:
    - nothing really

Overall, it's 8/10. A great game for mobile and still a good game for PC for a few semi-relaxed sessions. If you liked the other similar games I mentioned, give this one a try, too. Or maybe even better just get the iOS version and play it on your phone during subway rides.

At least there isn't too much grinding, but you might need to go back through the old levels with a new class if you want it for the end-game. The classes are varied enough to be fun, and surprisingly, the farmer is strong at the end with his pumpkin ability and armor. Expand
