    Granted, it’s a HD remake of a 2002 game, and when the new wave of space sim games come – X: Rebirth being the first in November – it’s going to get completely overshadowed, but it’s a great way to pass the time till then.

    More pirates, more text adventures and more upgrades: Space Rangers HD benefits from additional content. While I don’t see anything that would justify the “HD” label this remake is worth a look.

    Space Rangers is something that you either love or hate. Overall it feels a bit outdated so you'd have to be a real fan if you want to look beyond the old graphics and music.

    The glamorized sequel of the sandbox space simulation known as Space Rangers is expanded by expansion packs' content, along with higher resolution. Even though the game delivers literally hundreds of hours of entertainment, many of the game's elements are like from the stone age, including all the negatives from the original title. Fans of the hardcore experiences will enjoy this the same way as the previous installments.

Космические рейнджеры 2 - фантастическая игра, в которую можно абсолютно свежо играть даже сегодня в 2020 году. Хоть про нее не так много говорят - но, на удивление, очень много людей о ней знают. И я не видел ни одного человека, который говорил что-то плохое про эту игру. Все ее хвалят, и есть за что. Описывать не видящие границы возможности в этой игре - нет смысла. Стабильно, раз в пол года меня затягивает на долгие партии. Жаль конечно, что студия распалась и все разработки создателей канули в лету, но я все же буду надеяться и кормить себя мыслями о том, что 3-я часть таки выйдет. Путь от фанатов и поклонников, пусть от старых разработчиков, но я более чем уверен - этот выход определенно наделает шуму.… Expand

A great game in concept and mostly in execution, the worst English translation I have ever seen in a game makes a huge portion unplayable, and holds back what could be a classic. This game has complex text adventures--often involving math--and absolutely requires an accurate, sensible translation to play properly. A War Apart is the opposite of that, and the text adventures simply can not be played, because they are not in English. Still, even minus a third of the game, the rest is quite good. Would be in the "9" range if the translation didn't ruin the game. You would think a company that has released three versions of the same game in English would have fixed the translation by now...but nope. It is horrible.… Expand
