Probably my favorite sniper elite but the game is a bug fest, they really should have taken the time to polish it a bit more. The most anoying aspect is the broken AI, it does really dumb stuff from time to time. Another negative aspect is that now you can't run while crouching which means it'll take you a long time to finish each level if you want to go ful stealth. The dialogues were a little bit dull sometimes. What I probably like the most is the bigger maps, the graphics and the same combat system since SE3... All in all, it can be really fun but some levels can be more anoying than others due to the broken AI Expand

    Single player review.

Only 9 missions that can range from an hour to a couple of hours each. It's more of a bunch of DLCs from Sniper Elite 4 than anything else. The graphics are nice but the character models are awful. Invisible walls everywhere so you are funneled into a few ways to get the job done but not much a tactical choice. The difficulty of this game is in the amount of NPC

It's more of a bunch of DLCs from Sniper Elite 4 than anything else. The graphics are nice but the character models are awful. Invisible walls everywhere so you are funneled into a few ways to get the job done but not much a tactical choice. The difficulty of this game is in the amount of NPC you need to get rid of but not much else. The game has not really evolved and this time the stories seems cookie cutter. The voice acting is very bad.

You can run and gun. Stealth is just an option to slow down your play time.
Bobby trapping vehicles and people is worth zero as nothing happens with stopped vehicles.
The scenery and foliage are nice but are really beginning to show their age.

This game will need to be made in unreal engine 5 or better to keep people for coming back.
The Fu rear dlc is just a cheap gimmick and i finished it in half an hour. 1/2 hour for 8$ i am not impressed.

Skill point system is just a cheap gimmick to give you buffs.

The only thing going for this game is the gore of the bullet cam and the morbid glee we get out of it.
The ranking system is fun as i made it to General on the single player campaign.

It's not bad its just getting old. The game needs to change and find new enemies instead of just yatzees.

    Wait for a bargain price.

TL;DR: Cyperpunk 2077 premiere level of buggyness, but still enjoyable.

The current state of the game made me create an account here. In general it's well thought, but not polished. Shooting's fun as always, multiple paths you can take, stealthy or not, side missions to tackle. Then you get bugged out and have to reload or restart the game multiple times for the script to let you

Shooting's fun as always, multiple paths you can take, stealthy or not, side missions to tackle.

Then you get bugged out and have to reload or restart the game multiple times for the script to let you complete the mission or you'd have to start it all over. Mission targets not spawning or vanishing, side quests not registering its fullfillment, poor AI (even on realistic), controls try to stick you to the walls to much, terrain glitches that'll throw you under the map or make you stuck, invisible walls in unexpected places, crashes when loading save or closing game (lol). And that's what you get since the first mission.

I'm not a huge fan of invasion mode too. It intends to be a challenge, but is either a campfest or random bullet. Worst case, you get pinned by 20 enemies on pretty open field, get invaded, die, declined rematch, try to deal with enemies again - hey, you got invaded! Repeat like 10 times. Turn it off and have fun.

Decent stealth gameplay, fun level design, acceptable graphics and a good degree of replayability. Sniper Elite 5 isn't a groundbreaking game, but it certainly is an enjoyable one.

Um jogo bem variado, com mecânicas de tiro, ação stealth e um pouco de sandbox.

    - AI feels dumber like people say, don't know how they did it, but yeah thats how it feels
    - The sniping feels awsome just like in SE4, even better some times,
    - The first person perspective is definitely an improvement for the pistol shots
    - Story delivery feels kinda weird, and the final "boss" fight is very meh

Overral i feel like it's an improvement over the SE4 but not enough, the dev time between both games should've meant a bigger leap in quality

While the game looks good and runs smooth, there is something off. The animations are Jank and the absence of a crouch sprint makes the game feel too slow. Not that being methodical and slow in a sniping game is a bad thing. But to go through each area without any choice of traversal speed, especially since most of the time if you play stealthily, can make it feel like a slog. But to go through each area without any choice of traversal speed, especially since most of the time if you play stealthily, can make it feel like a slog. Most of the time it comes down to CQC and the sniping feels like an after thought. The maps feel like there made of choke points guiding you from one area to the next with no feel of real openness found in Sniper elite 4. Once you reach an area there is a bit of freedom to infiltrate from multiple angles but it still seems very restricted more so than the pervious title. The AI is all over the place here. From starting combat when they were not provoked to just randomly running for no reason. When hiding bodies in crates, because sure why not, and reloading a saved game next to said crate sometimes the bodies will just fall through the side asking an invisible area that you can't walk though.  All in all it's not a horrible game but definitely a let down. Though the sniper elite games aren't known for there polish. This one at least looks and runs good. But with a myriad of negative changes it just doesn't feel as fun as the previous game. Expand

Kinda boring game even in coop mode, and this despite the fact that devs added red phantoms from "souls like" games. The same thing with modifications for weapons you probably gonna unlock silencer for all your weapons (i mean sniper rifle, smg and pistol) and that it all another is kinda useless. The plot is present in the game, some but it is not memorable. Graphical and sound part also feels aceptable. The only strong plus of this game the can complete whole game in coop mode (it kinda rare nowadays). So as a conclusion acceptable game for coop with your friend but don't expect much about this game this just time killer while you waiting for new releases. Expand

The Game and the story itself is definetly better than previous titles, but there are too many bugs/glitches/problems that still should be taken care of.
Even if the overall stability improves, there are still numerous particle effects in cut scenes which look quiet rubbish for a 2022 AAA title.

It's a game with a very refined stealth system, but it gets lost due to its repetitive maps and scenarios.

Sniper Elite 5 is a mission pack disguised as a sequel, with a bunch of small, unremarkable adjustments to the tried formula.

Sniper Elite delivers all the action you can expect from a game that has Sniper in its name. You'll love it especially if you enjoy invading other players games and hunting them.
  3. Despite its artificial intelligence problems and simple story, Sniper Elite 5 manages to stand out with its fun gameplay and dynamics like XRay.
