   Well I was lookign at other games on here and seen where I could review my runescape that I play.
   I have been playing runescape for around 13Well I was lookign at other games on here and seen where I could review my runescape that I play.
   I have been playing runescape for around 13 years now.That is a really long time.I have over 1 year in actual in game time.
   This game does has its up and downs with the eoc.And yes some people did leave because of it,
   But they are getting ready to release the legacy combat system.Which is just like how the combat system use to be before the eoc.Then you will be able to switch to which ever one you like.
   Which i think that is awesome runescape will have 2 Combat systems!
   People on here aint even mentioning that jagex has started a new poll that lets rthere players pick the next upcoming update.
   And the simpel fact that they have even admited they made a huge mistake and are asking the players how to make it better.And get this people they are actually listening!
   Look the game does not even have to be downloaded.It takes only a few minutes to load in your browser.
   Make an account and log in and judge it for yourself.
   I bet you will fall in love with runescape just like everyone else has.… Expand

   I've been playing runescape since 2002 and I've had blast with it. The game play is simple anyone can play it. The quests are actually quests not like Wow where you have to go kill 10 boars. Lots of updates and always have in-game holiday items every year.… Expand

   Had a fun expeirence, underrated game.
   I have quit it a few months ago, but its good if you like MMORPG games!

   RuneScape was my first love, and it will always have a special place in my heart. But that doesn't mean I can't see how far downhill we haveRuneScape was my first love, and it will always have a special place in my heart. But that doesn't mean I can't see how far downhill we have rolled together. And we're picking up speed...
   
   Monetization is out of control in this game. There are loot boxes, a cash shop, weekly promotions, and regular events with premium currency. And, what's is really insane, is that most of these directly reward experience. The whole point of RS is leveling up, but you can get max levels by spending money. It's despicable.
   
   Jagex, despite being a sizable company these days, struggles terribly to deliver regular and quality updates. There's clearly a management issue. It's not getting better.
   
   The community, though smaller than in the past, is good. People are willing to help each other and cooperate. It's a fun game to be part of.
   
   I couldn't recommend picking up RS as a new player, but if it was ever part of your childhood, it's worth taking a look. It's not always pretty, but the game we loved is still in there.… Expand

   Still better than the Call Of Duty franchise. But seriously, what happened to this game? It used to be amazing! Now it's utter garbage - withStill better than the Call Of Duty franchise. But seriously, what happened to this game? It used to be amazing! Now it's utter garbage - with "better graphics" that still look exactly the same and just destroy the performance. Literally, my 8-cored Intel i7 4790 @4Ghz processor couldn't run this game smoothly on high settings, but lower them ever so slightly and suddenly it's running at about 500+ FPS with the exact same visuals. Typical of Jagex to ruin their only good game.
   In fact, the only reason I didn't vote 0 was because of my old respect for RuneScape 1 and the masterpiece they forged with that. In my opinion, Jagex need to either revert to the simple days of RuneScape 1 or just stop digging a bigger hole for itself.… Expand

   This game is absolute trash. They made me pay months for a membership just for me to log in after not playing for a month to tell me i wasThis game is absolute trash. They made me pay months for a membership just for me to log in after not playing for a month to tell me i was permanently banned for an account of "macroing" when I have never done such a thing. It is nearly impossible to make money or have fun in runescape because of the horrible amount of bots and macroers. I reported them every time I saw them yet runescape NEVER did anything about them and instead chooses to ban ME for absolutely no reason. Not to mention they will not refund you, ever unban your account, or even show you the evidence for their own mistake. I have been playing this game for over 2 years and I find it horrible that they would do this to someone. They won't answer any attempt at contacting them about it and they could care less about their players. I would reccomend NEVER playing this game unless you want to bore yourself and be robbed of 100s of hours of your life and all of your money just for the jagex team to wrongly ban your account and not show you evidence of their reason for banning you or allow you to contact them about it. One of the WORST games on the web.… Expand
