Aug 26, 2020Most of the people that gave this game a score between 0 and 6 either have played less than 10 mins or just have the attention span of a toddler. This game shows that you don`t need a huge team to achieve one of the best indie titles in recent memory.

Sep 4, 2020This game is really good. Every character is unique in how they play and results can be achieved when playing as any of them. The unlocks will keep you playing while the difficulty continues to be challenging without ever becoming too difficult. The primary game play loop is both satisfying and fun to play, and I could easily recommend this game to anyone.

Sep 28, 2020No Man's Sky meets Enter The Gungeon. It's a marvel in what this game can do in such a short development time.
-
Sep 30, 2020An extremely addictive rogue-like game that I have spent so many hours playing with and without friends on. Great game to play with friends.

Nov 8, 2020I've got 600 hours clocked on this game. Which, on it's own, says a lot.
If you're into going from peasant to literal GOD within a few minutes, with a nice splash of good old RNG along the way, destroying thousands of enemies at a time, with or without friends, for HOURS on end, this might just be the perfect game for you.
600 hours. Let that sink in. -
Aug 18, 2020Hundreds of hours of pure action-oriented fun! This game has a lot to offer, a lot to discover and a addictive gameplay that gets better every run. You can play alone and online, with friends and random people (and you can pick good partners). Recommended to everyone that loves third person shooters and rogue-lites.

-
Aug 12, 2020beat this game like 50 times it gets repetitive but it is still fun looking forward to the future of this game
-
Aug 13, 2020There’s hundreds of hours of fun to be had in RoR2, if you approach it with the right mindset and sometimes a friend or two. It’s not for everyone, but I found it a lot more forgiving than e.g. Dark Souls, and it’s got a Chris Christodoulou soundtrack to boot, so your ears will enjoy themselves even when you reach your inevitable and abrupt demise.

Aug 28, 2020Es un buen juego si tiene mucho tiempo libre y te gustan los desafíos, jugarlo con amigos te garantizara mas diversión, pero jugarlo solo no esta para nada mal. Un juego que vale completamente la pena
-
Aug 30, 2020Fun rogue-lite with a nice challenge to it even though the last boss promotes tacking less good items atm this will change hopefully in the better.
so the only real critic I would have with the type of game its trying to be is that it can get a bit stale at some point (imo) -
Jun 14, 2022This game is literally one of the best rogue-like games ive ever played and will still be the one of the bests on its genre after years.
-
May 18, 2021Very fun and addicting experiance if you get over the inital learning curve and massive dificulting spikes.. The entire game is built around RNG and progression is time gated.. So if you stick with the game long enough to beat it, its not cause your skilled, its because the game allowed the right items to roll and didnt implement 1 hit insta kills.

Nov 5, 2020Fun game with some issues.
+ Fun combat
+ Fun upgrades
+ Fun secrets
- Maps are pretty much the same every time
- The difficulty is really bad and you get one shot way too often
- Awful last boss and stage. -

Jun 14, 2022Risk of Rain 2' frantic combat and weirdly addictive randomness still excite me even after countless runs.
-
Dec 20, 2020Even with a small team, the game improves on the original in nearly every way. Better with friends as well.
-
Feb 20, 2022Spacey glowy point and shooty with many enemies and powerful items make fun multiplayer

-
Jan 7, 2021Excellent on every aspect: graphics, audio, gameplay...
The only problem? I suck big ass at it but hey, it's still fun -
Sep 21, 2020Super addictive game, the way you unlock items and new characters through unique tasks is alot of fun.The music in this game is also really good. The only real problem with this game is that it can be a bit buggy at times.

CD-ActionNov 16, 2020A shooter with a roguelike’s soul, Risk of Rain 2 is pretty much devoid of any deeper meaning, but at the same time perfectly executed and brilliant in its simplicity. [11/2020, p.33]
-
Sep 1, 2020Risk of Rain 2 does a great job at creating an engaging world full of frantic moments, although sometimes its procedural features get in the way.

Aug 31, 2020We have finally lived through the full release of Risk of Rain 2. With the full release comes a new character, who is excellent, and a true final level, final boss, and an ending. On top of that, we get even more excellent music from Chris Christodoulou. It cements Risk of Rain 2 as one of the best roguelikes of all time, and certainly one of the best co-op roguelikes too. There are a couple of things I was hoping to see with the full release, like more skills for the other survivors, but I’m sure they’ll arrive somewhere down the line. As it stands, if you’ve not played Risk of Rain 2, you’re doing yourself a disservice.
