It saddens me, because I sense how it resonates with the same brilliance that distinguishes VVVVVV. I perceive it as a little humble platformer, and I find it hard to love it for what it is. I imagine Reed's ambitions to be far greater than that, like Guybrush Threepwood departing for a journey to become a mighty pirate. I had fun playing it, however I'm afraid that's only because I finished it in no time and that greatly appeases my backlog.
