Sep 4, 2016Nothing short of brilliant. Fast-paced, frenetic and damn good looking, this is most definitely the spiritual successor to both wipEout and F-Zero we all needed.

Sep 5, 2016An worthy spiritual successor to Wipeout, fast and beautiful! Easy to play, difficult to master. Brutally hard. Everything I wanted from an anti-gravity racer and even more!

Sep 4, 2016Just use a controller, it's a fun game! Fast, yet smooth. Your skill matters. Use joytokey or x360ce, if you have a PC, you can customize everything. Have fun!

Sep 4, 2016This is the real deal! A high paced frenetic experience! My eyes were bleeding and my hands were almost crushing the controller. Sure, it still needs a couple of fixes but the devs are talking a lot with the community to hear our feedback! I gave it 10 but i wish i could give it more!

Sep 5, 2016As a young boy i was running on the fzero tracks feeling like driving in the future and now finally i get that feeling back, ten times bigger.
can't stop playing, seriously, and the community is great so far

Sep 6, 2016I fell in love with this game as soon as I put my hands on the controller. It's a design jewel, a joy for the eyes and a freacking challenging experience. Gameplay is well balanced, circuits seems to have been created by a roallercoaster designer and the vehicles are something outstanding in their simplicity. Every detail is carefully taken care of...something unusual those days.
A must buy. -

Sep 7, 2016So fast and so much fun, with a phenomenal track design and the incredible experience given by the sense of speed! Blinking the eye to sacred monsters like WipeOut and F-Zero, Redout still remains its own hell of a game!

Sep 8, 2016Where did this game come from? I am shocked. In a positive way. The handling of the game (easy to get in to but hard to really master), the tracks and visuals, the gameplay and sense of speed are all outstanding. I cant ask for more. The game also seems very optimized (cpu and gpu).
Can absolutely recommend this game. -
Sep 7, 2016Solid game. Runs great on my GTX960, consistent framerate. Visuals are superb. Just need to fix the AI and some other ship upgrade issues and we are in business.

Sep 8, 2016Amazing game, I keep coming back for more. I've put about 6 hours into it and am just now getting past the first class of ships. Plenty of variety in the types of races (much more than I was expecting) that require different strategies. There is a learning curve to this game, but once you quickly get past it you're greatly rewarded. 10/10, would recommend to any racing game fans!

It's pure adrenaline!!!!
If it's enough for you, maybe it's better to play with Farming Simulator... :D -

Aug 24, 2018This is a review of the VR mode:
It's not quite as good as Wipeout on the PSVR and the courses feel less 3D than some other VR titles. That being said, it is still a fantastic game, with lots of content. Hours of gameplay, and a good difficulty curve. Especially if you don't have PSVR, this is an essential VR purchase. -
Dec 13, 2017Redout provides great feeling of speed that other, more grounded in reality racing games can't achieve. Endgame vehicles with upgraded speed and turbo acceleration move as fast as a plane while still being able to maneuver.
-
Aug 7, 2018Amazing visuals, great tracks still not fully used to the steering scheme though and quite demanding for most systems. Looking forward to how they will bring this to the Switch.

Jul 20, 2017Redout is one of the most delightfully high-octane, edge-of-my-seat racing games in recent memory. It’s a thrilling adrenaline rush of an experience. It’s a finely-tuned joyride that’s been polished and balanced until it shines in a cornucopia of flashy colours.
-
Jan 23, 2017Intense anti-grav racing for the purist who values speed and control over all distractions.

Nov 11, 2016In the end, Redout is a very good racing game. It may not introduce anything completely new or revolutionize the genre, but it nails the fundamentals so well that fans will be glad that it exists. It has a great presentation and a decent track selection, while the amount of modes almost makes up for the lack of online community. If Redout represents the start of a comeback for futuristic racing, it is a good one, and genre fans will do well to pick it up.
