Redout delivers excitement I haven’t felt since Nintendo released the last great F-Zero title over a decade ago. I don’t know if it’s the best racer I’ve ever played, but it’s almost certainly the most exhilarating, and earns its place among the very games it takes inspiration from.

Fast, hard and really impressive, Redout is a perfect heir to the greatest arcade racing games. A delightful challenge that will test your skills and it will cause to overflow your adrenaline.

Redout delights with its fast, fluid pace and an incredible sense of speed. It's a great choice for perfectionists: although the game is very demanding and can make you gnash your teeth, every perfect lap is extremely satisfying.

RedOut is a superb indie game. If you enjoyed Wipeout or F-Zero, you'll love this new title. Despite the simplistic power-up system and the not so perfect career, RedOut offers one of the best futuristic race experiences out there.

RedOut is fast and is furious. Its tight controls and spectacular tracks make it one of the best futuristic racing game out there.

If you love Wipeout or F-Zero, Redout will be a joy: the game is fast, ferocious, and challenging. The only flaws lie in the career mode, a bit confused in some aspects. All in all, this seems to be a game that you must buy if you are into driving arcade games.

With some balancing on ship stats, power ups and enemy AI, so that a skillful pilot is always rewarded, Redout can aspire to become like the AG racers of yore. For the time being, it's on the right track.

Redout is one of the most delightfully high-octane, edge-of-my-seat racing games in recent memory. It’s a thrilling adrenaline rush of an experience. It’s a finely-tuned joyride that’s been polished and balanced until it shines in a cornucopia of flashy colours.

Intense anti-grav racing for the purist who values speed and control over all distractions.

In the end, Redout is a very good racing game. It may not introduce anything completely new or revolutionize the genre, but it nails the fundamentals so well that fans will be glad that it exists. It has a great presentation and a decent track selection, while the amount of modes almost makes up for the lack of online community. If Redout represents the start of a comeback for futuristic racing, it is a good one, and genre fans will do well to pick it up.

Just what the adrenaline junkies wanted for so many years, Redout is an audio-visual bomb that manages to deliver impressive sense of speed, brilliant track design and a thumping soundtrack.

As its own developers admit, there’s an inspiration in games like Wipeout or F-Zero in both style and gameplay, but it manages to distance itself enough to have its own personality.

Even though the track layout is too similar in the long run this is a great game for all WipEout or F-Zero enthusiasts. The VR implementation needs optimization, though.

Redout offers the speed and fluidity of a great futuristic racer, but lacks the polish and content required to be a truly great Wipeout successor.

Redout is an impressive, gorgeous throwback to futuristic racing games of yesterday that comes so, so close to nailing it. Some bizarre decisions relating to vehicle upgrades and difficulty make you question whether 34BigThings understood what made those classics tick in the first place, but it’s just about salvaged by some great track design and slick performance.

Nails the look, the sound, and the speed, but Redout stalls on the sensation.

    PROs
+ Probably the best racing AG experience existing
    + Superlative sense of speed
+ Easy to learn, hard to master, super precise, responsive and innovative control system
+ Unmatchable aestetics: great stylized low poly style mixed with state of the art shading techniques
+ Great ships design and variety: enough choice to satisfy every player type
+ Smart, fresh and unrivaled track design (20 different tracks ATM)
+ Multiplayer works like a charm!
+ Hardcore experience. Not forgiving AI: this game is not for n00bs or crybabies

    CONs
    - Can't f*****g stop playing
    - Some minor bugs (devs said will be fixed soon)

    SUMMARY:
This was made by a pretty much not known INDIE studio. Do you realize that???
I played all the famous historical AG racing games, and so much time passed since the last time a I felt so much adrenaline racing. This game put you in the "ZONE" and keeps you there so well you will even forget to drink and sleep.
This is what I was looking for: REDOUT is not only a game, but a COMPLETE EXPERIENCE.
    11/10 can't recommend enough.

PS: Even my friends that are not inside racing games are loving it!
