    По-началу я играл без каких либо проблем, не было багов, с оптимизацией. наиграл порядка 40 часов за столь короткое время. но сегодняшнее событие повергло меня в шок. после очередного рутинного дня, я решил с головой окунуться в эту потрясающую игру. Вышло обновление, я подождал и зашел. ТАКОГО НИКТО НЕ ОЖИДАЛ. ПРОБЛЕМЫ С УПРАВЛЕНИЕМ БАГИ ХЗРОЛЩЫВПБТЮИТЛПо-началу я играл без каких либо проблем, не было багов, с оптимизацией. наиграл порядка 40 часов за столь короткое время. но сегодняшнее событие повергло меня в шок. после очередного рутинного дня, я решил с головой окунуться в эту потрясающую игру.     -Historia: Simplemente increíble, rozando lo perfecta, a la par de intensa que The last of us, que para mi siempre fue la mejor hasta ahora, es cuanto a profundidad de personajes y la forma que te mete el la piel de los mismos y simpatizar con ellos. No quiero agregar mas sobre esto para no caer en spoiler, por si alguien verdaderamente lee esto no quiero arruinarles esta hermosa experiencia, Es simplemente increible
    -Gráficos y Entorno: En cuanto a los gráficos, son escandalosos, es por momentos apabullante su mundo, que conspira de una forma tan perfecta con su narrativa. De nuevo con las comparaciones, desde The Witcher 3 no me pasaba el ir por ahí y de un momento a otro prestar atención al entorno decir "QUE MARAVILLA, como corno hicieron esto!" y es que todo lo que te rodea durante todo el put... juego es impresionante, desde las postales que te quedan de las montañas, lo sombrío de los pantanos, la paz que dan esas llanuras, y una especie de magia que hay por la noche el los pueblos y la ciudad Principal, Es sencillamente EXTRAORDINARIO.
    Duración: Lo acabo de chequear y es exactamente 58 hs 09 min, centrado solo en la historia principal mas alguno de esos eventos aleatorios pero casi ninguno. Ni siquiera se de que trata el online, Pero no soy de jugar los online de los juegos por eso no entra en mi valoración personal
    Jugabilidad: es un poco mas compleja que en gta, y se tarda en adaptarse los controles teniendo que muchas veces apretar mas de 3 teclas para realizar una acción pero los asimilas rápido, los tiroteos se sienten muchísimo mas reales y espectaculares que en otro juegos de Rocks Star
    -RENDIMIENTO! : SI es un juego pesado, y NO no lo juegue en ultra 4K 60 FPS. Lo juegue en una de las opciones de "equilibrado" mas altas que combina opciones en Alto, Medio y Ultra de una manera genial, (tengo una RTX 2060 super, Ryzen 3600 y 16 GB de ram) a 60 FPS prácticamente ininterrumpidos salvo por algún bajón a 50-55 muy puntual sobre todo en la zona del pantano, y es que mucha gente esta enojada porque el contador de FPS no se les dispara a mas de 100 pero habría que poner,creo yo mas atención al juego que al msi afterburner, y es que en la configuración en la que jugué yo que no es ni de cerca la mas alta lo se, LE PASA EL TRAPO A CUALQUIER OTRO JUEGO!!! POR DIOOOSS déjense de joder con estupideces y disfrutenlo! Que vale tanto la pena jugarlo por mas que sea en bajo y con los 100 filtros raros esos que tiene desactivados. El juego es HERMOSO.
    P/D: EL LAUNCHER ES UNA MIERDA! Y YA ME TIENEN LAS PELOTAS POR EL PISO CON ELLOS! Para que? es realmente necesario? de verdad piensan que llenando de launcherS el PC vamos a estar mas conformes? que nos gusta tener 60 mil aplicaciones de mierda que SIEMPRE FUNCIONAN MAL para guardar 1 juego en cada una? que tienen en la cabeza? Evitan comisiones a STEAM pero se acarrean un puto 3.7 de nota Giles!!. Solo por esto le quería quitar dos puntos, pero creo que es mierda de la empresa y no de lo que yo estrictamente estoy calificando que es el juego que es una maravilla.
    En fin, me pase el juego después de un hype de mas de un año que salio en consolas y la verdad sobrepaso por mucho mis expectativas. Hace mucho que no sentía que pague demasiado barato un juego caro.    … Expand

    Best game that came out this year for PC, everything runs smoothly with my i7-5820k and GTX 980 on high setting. Used to bug out on initial launch, but after I updated my driver, everything seems to be running smoothly, consistent 70 fps. Still running the game with 8gb ram opposed to the minimum 12gb.

    Red Dead Redemption 2 when it came out in 2018 on consoles, was the best open world game you could ever experience. The gamne beats any other (open world) title in almost every categorie.     So when you usually play an open world title, you may know, that some things are quiet cut off, as creating an open world, that is highly believable, has high end graphics and on top an excellent story is almost impossible to do. There were few games in the past, that could come close to this, but none of them is as big and as detailled as Red Dead Redemption 2. Not even the Witcher 3 can handle all of it that well,

    But lets start with the technical details.
    On PC the game looks pretty much the best you can get on any game you could name. The world is so detailled in everything, that it is amazing how much effort Rockstar has taken to get this cranked up for the PC version. Of course this comes with a high price. Many people are complaining about crashes and low performance on their rigs and not even get to 60fps.
    I can only tell you the numbers that could explain this:

    If we take the steam Hardware Survey, Following Hardware which is capable of 2k in High-Ultra (with fps between 40-60fps) is used there.

    1080ti 1,56%
    RTX 2070Super 0,25%
    RTX 2080 0,88%
    RTX 2080 Super < 0,15%
    RTX 2080Ti 0,54%
    Titan RTX < 0,15%

    Lets give the Cards below 0,15% the benfit of the doubt and count tham as 0,15% and then this makes

    3,53% of all Steam Users have a graphics card that could possibly handle the game in 2K at 40-60fps almost maxed out, with little things set to High (like Water Details).

    Considered that 96,5 % of the gamers on PC dont even own at least a 1080ti it is just ridiculous how they expect the game to run on Ultra on their rigs.
    So compared to any other game, the performace / detail ratio in Red Dead Redemption 2 is fine for me, as I do not know any other game that comes close to these details an graphics at all ... and I played all AAA games the last 10 years!

    Also you have to be aware, that you need to be able to set up your rig, with knowledge, which not even 1% of the gamers are having. I built so many rigs for friends and people I know alone, and they have decent rigs, but no knowledge about their insides.

    So yes, Rockstar needs to work on that, but its not a general flaw ... more the lack of decent Hardware and knowledge about how to setup your PC.
    We have to admit, that this game benchmarks current generation of Hardware and maybe the next one.

    I left out the CPUs, because the CPU is not a bottleneck on your PC if you have a rig, that is supporting these named Graphic Cards, so you can leave that out. Otherwise the percentage of the capable rigs will be even lower!

    So much for the 0 ratings because of performance.
    I play it on a 1080ti on Ultra at 1440p and get decent 40-60fps. With a good G-Sync Display it runs smooth enough and rarely drops fps.

    Coming to the Sound, which is awesomly designed as well. There is no ... literally no NPC that has really poor voice or texts, which is also very rare on an open world game that scale. Even the last dude, that most likely not even 1% of the players will find is done extremely well.
    The animals are having very good sounds and also realistic ones. It must have taken months to capture them all.
    Also environment sounds of horses, Same is with wagons or trains.

    The world just feels alive in every bit of what you can name. I even saw an Opossum that ran beside me, and as itr recognized me, it faked death ... breathtaking.

    When it comes to Gameplay, well this is kind of a taste thing. As this is a rating for the PC version I have to say, that the controls are designed for Controllers. Keyboard and Mouse are done very good, but it has many Keys mapped for any specific things you can do, and does not the very best job in terms of intuition.
    When it comes to the plaing of the game, it is also here outstanding choice. The amount of things you can do is also outstanding. From cooking, to crafting, to playing mini games in bars, to shaving, to cleaning your horse, do tasks in your camp, fishing, hunting ... name it and you can do it.

    The story is just the way Rockstar does it. Its not the very best in all video games, but its a thrilling, believable homage to the end of the wild west time and it is finished satisfying with closing the gap to Red Dead Redemption 1.

    In the end you will be left with the Multiplayer, that is out since 1 year now and went through a lot of improvements. PC Players have the advantage to had the consoles do the Beta testing, and Rockstar being reacting to the whishes out of that.

    At first the game stuttered, but that was fixed. Now it works perfectly. The graphics are breathtaking. A masterpiece! My deepest respect for the developers!

    To the people with problems. Give the developers time! I am pretty sure they are working hard to fix everything. I have never saw a game with so much love to details. It is gorgeous!

    A fantastic game in a fantastic world!
    One of the best graphics I've ever seen, in a lively and very active world, there are no empty spaces here.

    Optimization: The game pulls the graphics farther than any console could run, it comes at a price and the PC version is quite demanding. There are problems, but nothing very serious and gradually disappear.

    Must buy it.

    Miracle on PC. On my average computer it goes on ultras and there are no lags of bugs and crashes, especially 10 days after the release of the game. I do not understand those people who litter the PC version of the game. All the games, absolutely all the games that I played, in the first days after the release lag. Why didn't these commentators understand this?

    A stunningly beautiful game. So much to discover and see. Well written dialogue and characters, set in jaw-dropping and atmospheric scenery. Missions varies between good stories and gun blazing action. Intel i7-8700 (non k) and rtx 2080 gets the job done for me. It’s difficult to max out graphics with todays hardware. But this one will last for years to come.

    I was pretty sucked in with the story right away that's for sure. I never liked how they could have easily taken out dutch and Arthur multiple times by showing up at their camps. The game looks great and plays great for the most part. Just don't go flying through a wooded area with a brand new expensive horse. The worst part of this game    disclaimer: I've never played the 1st REDDEAD

Playing with a 4790k oc , 1070 oc at 1080p 60fps ...people are just too stupid to understand that this game is able to push the best graphics out there , the game is demanding because is full of details . Problems ? 1 single crash since I bought it

    I play it with an RTX 2080 on a 1080p monitor and I manage to get it to maximum settings, except that MSAA at x2, the same fate, however, did not go to those with such less powerful hardware, although still expensive and above average.
    For all that concerns the mechanics,    I decided not to assign a vote of 10 to this game because of the optimization problems that the PC version involves.

I have had like 3 crashes in 100h and some minor stuttering here and there.     Anyways the game itself is just pure gold. Story and characters, well there has been enough talk about these, so I have to add one very noticeable thing for me, which is sound. This game has easily the best and most detailed sound in any game ever made. Just standing in the woods you can hear all around you these different animals, swaying trees in the wind, distant waterfall and trains. Not only has it perfect ambient sound but the soundtrack is very good aswell and makes many missions unforgettable. Mission structure is played out with basic R* way following orders: go here, stand here, press this button, shoot them etc. but honestly I was not expecting any dramatic change to that, imo it works fine for story driven game. This game has so much content that I could spend 200h in it without ever getting bored. All things concidered well worth 60€ after patches.    … Expand

    I really dont get those whiny kids who voted 0-5 blaming technical issues. This is temporary problems, the game itself is a masterpiece. I've never played this kind of game for maybe 10 years. The level of detail is simpy amazing. There's no way for any score under 9-10.

    Got the game after nvidia drivers update and some patches release and have absolutely awesome performance on GTX1060 3GB plus Ryzen 5 1600!
    Storyline is very interesting, graphics is great. Rockstar didn't disappointed

    Great Story, Great Graphic, Great Features. 150 hr playing so far, few crash at first 10 hr but after that game runs fine with my laptop i7 8750h + GTX 1070 mobile gets 55 - 60 fps on 1080p medium to ultra setting. Bad optimization ? hmmm maybe or maybe you just overestimate your current rig.

    I love this game, but I didn't play it on PS4.
    First time game was bad optimized. Ok gtx 1060 3gb I played on normal settings, but a few days ago, I pressed button "start". I wanted to change graphics, when I opened graphics settings, presets was high-ultra, then I started game and I have 50 fps :D

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Если брать во внимание баги, вылеты и тормоза. То рдр 2 все-равно останется лучшей игрой вообще. Да, это даже не рпг. Здесь нет офигеть какого отыгрыша, но то, что есть реализовано на высшем уровне. Настолько продуманной игры мы еще не видели. Игра явно делалась людьми за 30 и для людей за 25 (как минимум). Если вы не знаете, что такое вестерн, если вы не знаете кто такой Клинт Иствуд, не знаете о гражданской войне в сша. Не покупайте эту игру. Это не гта. Никоим образом не гта. А если вас лагает, купите новый комп. Нет денег на комп, купите сосноль. И не нойте. Задолбали нытики орущие об оптимизации. Пк гейминг никогда не был дешевым.… Expand

    To put it simply, the game runs best on AMD parts. Keep in mind that both the PS4 & Xbox One use AMD parts, so there might be some connection to that, but if you have an NVIDIA card or Intel processor, then you will most likely have issues playing.

    I'm not giving RDR2 a 10/10, because there are still some graphical issues that I experience, and occasionally a few crashes (very rare though).

    Cant get the game to work for a few days after the release but when i did i cant put it down. Its the best game of this year so far, the last game that pulled me in this much was The Witcher 3. So boo-hoo for the thechnical issues but the game is amazing and worth to play.

    I love the way this game introduces you to new concepts of the game. It reminds me of the original Mario. It starts of simple. Just progress forward through the map. You encounter an enemy that you need to jump over. Jumping over the enemy causes you to hit a block. You learn that blocks break.     Played on Ryzen 3700X and 2070S, using Vulkan API. I didn't have any problems whatsoever regarding crashes or anything else, so I count myself lucky. This is no doubt the most ambitious game ever made. You can see how it is a blend of what Rockstar learned from Red Dead, Max Payne and GTA.     Para no extenderme demasiado, es el JUEGAZO de la PS4 y de la X1 portado con bastante acierto hacia la plataforma PC, con gráficos aún mejores de los que ya traía originalmente (puedes ajustarlo en función de la calidad del PC con el que juegues, si quieres más calidad, suelta la pasta y cómprate algo mejor como hacemos todos) y con la misma inmersión que te ofrece en la versión de consola. Sólo le falta un modo VR o una campaña cooperativa para convertirse en el juego PERFECTO.

    En cuanto le peguen una pequeña pulida a pequeños glitches que ocurren en contadas escenas y optimicen el modo online, sin duda será (si no lo es ya) el mejor juego de los últimos 10 años.

    Así que por favor, ese 4.3 de media que tiene actualmente el juego dista bastante de la realidad (por no decir que directamente son votaciones troleadas por los mismos de siempre). Sin duda, un juego que debería de estar en la estantería de cualquier tipo de jugador.    … Expand

    Played this on the PS4 Pro and I gotta say, the game makes great use of the console hardware. The game looks amazing, the map feels alive with all the animals and the game overall gives off a great Mid-West feeling. The story, although a bit long for my taste presents the player with a great storyline and the relations between the different characters feel realistic.     It seems that the optimization for the PC version of the game isn't ideal yet but I strongly believe that this will change in the next few weeks.

    TBH I've been waiting for this game for a long time, and I am not disappointed. It got great graphics, cinematic cut scene and good gameplay. My PC comes with Windows 10 home edition, 32GB memory, GeForce 1070 and Intel i7 8086k. Unfortunately my SSD space is limited, so I installed it on my Seagate 1TB HD. The game launched reliably with no slowdowns and no CTD while playing. However there is an autosave glitch, I ended up getting stuck on autosave question, forcing me to shut the game through task manager.

    The good, the games comes with multiple manual saves. I hate Far Cray 5 autosave only, it makes multiple playthrough tough. Red Dead 2 allows you to save anytime and anywhere. However, just like GTAV, when you load the game, it will load to the closest location and anything around you such as stolen stagecoach will disappears. The immersion and attention to details is amazing, beautifully recreates a fictionalized wild west.

    The Bad, Everyone knows Take 2 arrogance, specially with the Borderlands 3 drama. Take 2 forced you to buy the game in their own store front by delaying competing distribution from Steam and even Epic Game Store. At least they offer you some games, if you never owned one. This maybe a dirty trick to lure people to their storefront with very small library of games, reminds me of Bethesda.

    Despite the fact I never experienced any performance issues because my PC spec is fairly beefed up. The recommended spec may not guarantee reliable gameplay. Don't even think about running on minimum spec, it will lose your mind, One guy who complained about performance issues have a superior 1080, while my PC only have 1070 and have no problem with a mixture of medium, high and ultra settings with DSR resolution of 3200 X 1800. I do run into an intermittent slow down issues with GTAV, it appears to be a display driver bug, it can be solved by ALT-ENTER twice.    … Expand

    The epilogue feels like a quick and boring way to end the whole story.
    The gameplay is very glitchy and has even worse controls, especially when your horse is always agitated for no reason. The challenges are a complete waste of time and grindy.     Купил игру после всех патчей и исправлений, в целом доволен. Впечетлил интересный сюжет на который у меня ушло более 60 часов, занятный геймплей, доп квесты и большой живой мир.

    I know it's late, but I want to tell you. The game is very good, but after Kojima's vacation, it's pretty cool. I will not tell you anything about the game, but if you have a PS4, then buy it. The game is worth it, but be vigilant. The game is for those who like to work, but work in games, slowly and carefully. Minus a point for a too long story, and another minus point for some flaws in the plot.

    RDR Online - Economy is a joke, grindfest to the teeth (more grindy than even GTA online), if you are not in it for the items and just for a bit of fun and roleplay then it's alright, 6/10

    Giving the 10/10 mostly for the single player and also to boost the rating as I feel that this game doesn't deserve a 4.9 (although it seems to be from bugs, crashes etc. that Rockstar probably fixed by now, but those peeps will not change their ratings)    … Expand

    Nothing but bugs, glitches, and getting kicked back to the rockstar launcher. I can't even use any dead eye abilities or it's an INSTANT crash. Games broken, been broken and they don't care. Guess they don't see enough money in fixing anything.Oh well.

Granted the controls are convoluted (but I have it on good authority that the control scheme for the consoles was just as bad).     What I love about the game is the immersion, I feel as though I"m actually out there in the world. It feels like the world continues on even when I'm not around. The missions are a blast. There are so many little details and unique encounters in the world that, I feel like Rockstar is giving me a little wink when I experience them.

    This game is so much fun and well worth the price of admission. If you have to wait for the technical issues to be resolved then do so, but don't miss out on this game. It's amazing, easily one of my all time favorites.    … Expand

I am extremely grateful to rockstar studio for the magnificent history and its implementation at the highest level. The game is just fantastic. Before buying, I doubted “is it worth my attention?”, I asked myself. Having spent about 60 hours, I never regretted neither time nor money. The game is in no hurry to throw you in the thick of things, it shows you life. Harsh, with its events and more. A sad story that encourages one to think about the right life path. In this game I liked absolutely everything. Arthur Morgan was a cruel man, but he was with a good heart. RIP Arthur Morgan.
    Thanks to everyone who was involved in the creation of this masterpiece of the gaming industry.

Игра не спешит бросать тебя в гущу событий, она показывает тебе жизнь. Суровую, со своими событиями и прочим. Печальная история, которая подталкивает и самому задуматься о правильном жизненном пути. В этой игре мне понравилось абсолютно все. Артур Морган был человеком хоть и жестоким, но он был с добрым сердцем. RIP Артур Морган.

    Wow. This is the best game I have played so far in my life. Open world and story driven games are my favourite games so of course I'm going to love this. If you don't enjoy story games then you wont like this. Because - The story - AMAZING, long and detailed. The acting - AMAZING (and i dont say that often, i can pick up a **** actor on tv etc instantly and they often ruin it for me) TheWow. This is the best game I have played so far in my life. Open world and story driven games are my favourite games so of course I'm going to love this. If you don't enjoy story games then you wont like this. Because - The story - AMAZING, long and detailed. The acting - AMAZING (and i dont say that often, i can pick up a **** actor on tv etc instantly and they often ruin it for me) The graphics AMAZING and even the movements and facial expressions of Arthur, your horse and the other characters (even NPCs and wild animals too) are fantastic. The hunting system is great, its difficult to kill some tiny animals with a bloody bow and arrow but it makes it fun, so if you dont fancy doing some missions for a bit you can go hunting or do some challenges. The cooking/crafting system was strange at first but it makes sense and is quite simple really and quite enjoyable.
    This game is so realistic. It can be a very hard learning curve at the start and to be honest i nearly gave up this game after the first hour it really got on my nerves, specially when riding through towns and i kept knocking people over and getting bounties and witnesses to minor crimes (that was the most annoying bit throughout the game in all honesty) however i persevered and after a day or 2 i had learnt all the controls and nuances and I'm so glad I did.
    The missions are most of the time, different, and unexpected things happen in them. They can also be really long. The last few took me a week to complete, in fact I've been playing this game for the last 7 months, pretty much every other day with maybe the odd week break and that is how long its taken me to complete it - ive not got 100% im at 86.5 or something but ive done all the stranger and side missions that i have found, got all but the last legendary animal, done around half the challenges and explored the total map.
    Storywise - Arthur has been the best character I have seen in any video game. Theres so many funny lines that he says throughout the game aswell - he is a sarcastic lovable character. I think the most fun mission for me in this game is the one in the bar in Valentine with Lennie. After the game ended I had to watch this again.
    Yes it has some negatives, i think overall its an easy game to beat and maybe some difficulty settings would have been better here. Also the wanted system is very annoying, especially when committing train robberies - you have a bag over your head in a long underground train tunnel yet no lawmen are there and they somehow know its you before they even arrive. Nearly every time I have tried a train robbery my bounty was more than what I earned from it. This game is ABOUT a gang of criminals and the game makes it totally difficult to commit any crimes at all, if not even trying to steer you away from doing that. I suppose it makes sense given the various endings though but still.
    As a female I would have liked MORE FEMALE LEAD characters having a bigger role. Yeh its set in the late 1700’s and yes women were left behind in that era however the game was made in 2018. I thought Sadie was a great character and would have loved a bit more of that. Not even many stranger missions or encounters were from females. Apart from the ones that always needed saving, so Rockstar this would have been more ideal.
    Lack of fast travel for the most part of this game was quite annoying too - and made the game take so long. Only near the end of the game (i bought it 2nd hand) Rockstar introduced the fast travel (and photo mode which is fun too) it should have been in the game from the start. The auto equipping of weapons is annoying too. I would put some guns on my back ready for something, id get off the horse because i would come across someone that needs saving, id get there then i would have no guns on me! The game takes them off you for some reason if your still sat on your horse. Its similar for missions too and loads you up with random ones and not the ones you want. Another main annoyance is that half of the map is un-explorable until the main story ends and there is only one stranger mission that I have encountered here and I’ve ran around everywhere on this side of the map. Bit of a waste really and 3 legendary animals are on this side aswell which seems pointless as you can make trinkets out of them but don’t really have any use of them for many missions. A very minor thing that I would have liked is that Arthurs hair doesn't have a length limit! Why does it when everything else in the game is so detailed. even your horse has different hair lengths and colours to choose from lol
    In conclusion, Despite the negatives I'm really sad that I have finished the game now i wish it would carry on and on and on haha. Well done to Rockstar for this game, PLEASE make your next one as good as this - storywise especially. Arthur will always have a special place in my heart hahahah    … Expand

There isn't a "true" obstacle that makes your plan fail, the game simply ends the encounter. ThisOH man, I put so much into this game at first. There isn't a "true" obstacle that makes your plan fail, the game simply ends the encounter. This design may seem old fashioned, but I remember the missions in GTA 1-3 having more freedom.

    There are other moments where despite being in a dangerous situation, escaping from the law, heist, or burning building, when the character will walk inexplicably. It absolutely takes the pace to a grinding halt.

    The graphics, the audio, they feel right, but the world feels like Disneyland. Tons of the open world quests are not well tuned. Example - I found an NPC in the world that creates a kind of mini-quest. We had to sneak up and hunt some animal that had stolen something from them or something. His lines were saying "there he is, ok, lets sneak up on him.." something to that effect... and though I'm crouched and sneaking this NPC is just walking normally in front of me toward the prey. This was a random quest late game in the mountain area.

    The mini-game button mashing is extremely false feeling. It doesn't feel like youre "really" doing that activity when youre holding R2 and spamming X or whatever it is.

    You will use your in-game money to purchase weapons, customize them, set up your loadout, etc, and go to a mission, and then the mission begins and you suddenly are completely regeared, and you arent with your horse. Just the default pistol with no rifle or shotgun... I dont understand why this would ever be done.

    The best part of this, and I am being totally serious, is Red Dead Online Poker. I have played a LOT of online video poker games, and this is one of the most immersive and fun pvp poker games i've played no joke. Its awesome that you are your character, and your winnings are going toward your RP journey.. its kind of awesome honestly, Ive made a bunch of money to buy **** in RDO thru the poker haha...

    Im truly EXHAUSTED by the story, and when you finish a mission you will often be at a point really far from your next mission spot... you can fast travel, it takes a minute to crouch and set up camp, and often it will say "cannot fast travel with activities nearby" but I don't see anything on my radar... It happens so much that I dont even bother taking the time to get off my horse, crouch, camp, etc (it takes a while and says 'activities nearby' about 75% of the time). I spend so much time riding horses across spaces...

    Overall the story arc is also badly paced. I dont want to spoil anything, but just as the game is coming to a climax not only in plot points but in characters, where they are kind of at each others' throats, then you spend a LONG final act in a side story... it should have been incorporated into the main story FAR earlier, and the side story been its own climax instead of something tacked onto the end. I dont look forward to the famously boring epilogue, and I feel dead inside trying to finish and then I'm in a situation stuck walking, or I fail a section because I try to be slightly creative with my approach... I have to give a rating based on what the studio should be able to accomplish. We shouldn't be easy on one of the most profit making companies in the business. Lets be honest about the quality of the narrative, the (lack of)novelty of the systems, the cover combat that was new in 2006 (gears of war).

    Graphics cant carry a game, graphics naturally get better, we cant clap our hands everytime it gets shinier and give it 10/10... cmon. When you see the user rating vs critic rating, you wonder do they even play games?... not a single mixed review? Nobody thought it felt weird to steal $6,000 in government bonds and then walk casually out of the building, like youre just casually walking out of a Saloon? Or did anyone else run into that "activities nearby" issue where you cannot fast travel? What about failing a mission because you decided to go around the side of a building instead of the main street? The extremely linear missions are anachronistic alongside their open world... what a missed opportunity!    … Expand

    This game was absolutely not ready to be released, there are much better looking games that run much smoother than this, I don't care about plot or gameplay, it's all worthless if it can't be played.

    Стреляю по деревянному дому, по дверям, по мебельным крышкам, по бочкам, тазикам и не могу получить пробитие предметов.
    Извините, но если пуля не может пробить деревянную дверцу, то как она может оторвать персонажу ногу????
    Как это понимать? 
    В общем, удовольствия от стрельбы никакого.

    Mediocre performance, multiplayer completely forgotten by rockstar/taketwo (maybe because it doesn't make as much money as its older brother gta 5?), only good thing is the story and gameplay of course. No possiblity to transfer character from console to PC (RDO) so if you're coming from console and wanna play online on pc you have to start from scratch ahahahha

    One of the best games and most stunning in terms of gameplay mechanics and visual. It is not a perfect game but all the good things in this games outshines even those small bad ones. I truly enjoyed playing this game and Rockstar Games made a masterpiece. I really enjoyed and had fun playing this game. If there will be future DLC to the single player mode, I will play it again and again!

To gra jest zwyczajnie nudna, sama gra nie potrafi przyciągnąć gracza do siebie. Gra może i pięknie wygląda ale to chyba jedyny plus tej gry. Spróbowałem również trybu multiplayer nastawiając się na niego jako takie GTA online tylko na dzikim zachodzie i w tym wypadku też zwód, ponieważ w tym trybie nie ma zbytnio co robić. Widać, że ludzie też nie chcą w niego jakoś chętnie grą ponieważ sprzedają go jako osobna gra za 22 zł (ok. 5$)… Expand

    An absorbing tale that will test your machine and tear ducts. A game that did not suffer from being brought to PC. RDR2 is worth overcoming all the shortcomings, since it is one of the best games of the decade. [Issue#300]

    My biggest warning to anyone considering purchasing RDR2 on PC is that you need to have patience when you set it up. Take the time to go through each graphics option, compare your performance on Vulkan vs. DirectX 12, and tailor the game to your specs. Once you have the game tuned, there’s no better way to experience it than on PC.
