    Game have lags and errors, disconects every 5-15 minutes.
    Better fix this.

    Во время анонса порта первой части я с нетерпением ждал анонса, но его не случилось. Когда же появился предзаказ второй части на ПК я тут же его взял. Понимая что мой пк может не потянуть эту игру(хотя со всеми другими справлялся). Собрал i3 9100f, 16 гб озу и 1060 и начал пробовать запускать. Игра запустилась на удивление отлично, но проведя 10 минут в ней меня выбило с ошибкой 20010006.Во время анонса порта первой части я с нетерпением ждал анонса, но его не случилось. Это проблема продолжалась и продолжается до сих пор. Уже не говорю про то что к городам лучше не приближаться потому что начинается слайд-шоу. Листая форумы и смотря видео так и не нашел решения проблем.
    Через несколько дней вышел патч, но он ничего не исправил в моей ситуации. Благо хоть получается иногда с первого раза пройти миссию в онлайне.
    Игра покупалась исключительно для игры в RDR Online с друзьями с которыми играть невозможно из-за постоянных вылетов и ошибок.
    Почему такая оценка? интересный мир и толпа заданий, не дают заскучать, но то что ты их пройти не можешь, очень огорчает.    … Expand

Некоторые сюжетные повороты, вообще никакой логике не поддаются. Такое чувство, что делали "на отвали", лишь бы было. Кое как осилил, чтобы пройти её до конца. Больше в жизни не буду слушать всяких умников с ютубе. Есть, конечно, интересные моменты в прохождении, но большую часть вызывает жжение в пятой точке.… Expand

    Nothing but bugs, glitches, and getting kicked back to the rockstar launcher. I can't even use any dead eye abilities or it's an INSTANT crash. Games broken, been broken and they don't care. Guess they don't see enough money in fixing anything.Oh well.

    Gorgeous graphics ruined by boring gameplay! My steam version runs well but the controls are not optimized for a PC and just plain monotonous! As you play you need to look to the right to see what different button to use to interact with anything....How about "E" for everything, plants, horses, NPCs? Also, should be Quick draw right mouse (whatever in the tab menu as the chosen weapon),Gorgeous graphics ruined by boring gameplay! If you so much accidentally bump into a NPC with these clunky controls they will want to fight, and apparently this dumb law system knows wherever you are and comes after you even if a NPC steps in front of your horse. They made everything so tedious it's boring. 2 for great graphics, 0 for boring gameplay. It's a shame, it should've been Max Payne 2 with Cowboys (action from start to finish).     This game was absolutely not ready to be released, there are much better looking games that run much smoother than this, I don't care about plot or gameplay, it's all worthless if it can't be played.

    Dishonest publisher, revolting experience, never buy a game from Rockstar again.    … Expand

    One of the best games and most stunning in terms of gameplay mechanics and visual. It is not a perfect game but all the good things in this games outshines even those small bad ones. I truly enjoyed playing this game and Rockstar Games made a masterpiece. I really enjoyed and had fun playing this game. If there will be future DLC to the single player mode, I will play it again and again!

To gra jest zwyczajnie nudna, sama gra nie potrafi przyciągnąć gracza do siebie. Gra może i pięknie wygląda ale to chyba jedyny plus tej gry. Widać, że ludzie też nie chcą w niego jakoś chętnie grą ponieważ sprzedają go jako osobna gra za 22 zł (ok. 5$)… Expand

    Finally, I am able to run the game - and fail tutorial quest. My goal is to ride behind some guy - and I am unable to do it, as sometimes, when I hit "left" my horse turns left, and sometimes, when I hit "left", my horse turns right. And the guy I am following does not wait, just rides off and bam, quest failed, restart and waste another 10 mins staring into snow and my horse's backside. And this is good summary of the game - further game has exact same problems.
    The controls are so clunky it strips the game of all fun. The game saves progress when it wants, so expect to re-do 5-10 mins of gameplay quite often. During dialog, my possible lines are displayed in lower-right corner, choosing any requires me to press 2 keys at the same time, and all of this while keeping track on whats going on screen (as most conversating happens when something is going on - riding, stalking etc.) and hearing what the NPCs are talking - so the effect is what I say is pretty much random. The in-game journal is intrersting, but written in font I am not able to decipher... I could go on much more. This game could be interesting. A pity it is so poorly ported onto PC.    … Expand

For me it became not interesing playing after 40 hours of literally doing nothing, because main story cant give u anything interesting in the begining and in the middle of the game.     Hundreds of immortal cheaters who can teleport you, instantly kill you, take away your weapons, and even kick you out of the session. And no private sessions, so you can't protect yourself from cheaters at all.
    Bugged bounty hunter missions which can suddenly cancel themselves any time they want, even if you took one literally 5 seconds ago.

    This is the WORST online experience I ever had, and meanwhile I had almost no issues in GTA online. I don't give it 0 scores only because of the single player part.    … Expand

    I really wish I could give this game a higher score. The story is amazing, the gunplay is snappy and satisfying with keyboard and mouse, and the world is so expansive and has so much content that it takes hundreds of hours to see and do everything the game has to offer.

    The problem is that this game is so goddamn buggy that you can hardly go five meters without some new game-breaking glitch popping up and forcing a reload. Enemies getting full auto bottomless mags when entering dead eye, the clumsy cover system locking you to the exposed side of cover instead of the side you were approaching, infinite loading screens, dialogue going silent suddenly and randomly, AI spawning in the most secluded corner of the map just to witness you roping the last guy who spawned into the middle of nowhere just to witness you roping the last guy who spawned into the middle of nowhere just to witness you roping the last guy who... etc, etc.

    The controls are clumsy and every button has like five different actions attached to it and selected weapons are never saved and frequently go back to your horse for no reason, so something as simple as PULLING OUT YOUR GUN is made into a huge mess where, unless you manually go into your weapon wheel and select the weapon you want to use, chances are you'll just stand there like an idiot staring at the dude pumping you full of lead. Animations for looting and skinning are excessive, to put it lightly, and are obligatory time sinks that exist solely to build immersion, which is promptly broken when some guy just starts endlessly walking into a chair because his pathfinding is broken.

    Online is a joke. You'll be staring at "ALERT: You have been disconnected from Red Dead Online due to a fault in Rockstar game services. [Error: 0x20010006]" more often than you play it, and the experience is so disgustingly obviously set up to gouge as much money out of you to buy gold as possible.

    Framerate is terrible for visuals that look pretty average, all things considered.

    This is all compounded by a total lack of communication regarding these issues from Rockstar. They seem to just want to brush all of this under the rug while advertising new content that does nothing but break all the existing content even further.

    Avoid this game until they fix it. The story is really good, and the gunplay is really fun, and there's tons of content, but it's all brought down by just an utter lack of care. They simply didn't care about actually being able to play the game, they just wanted to spend all their time putting in all of these little details instead of building a playable game.

    Edit: I'm actually going to LOWER my score for this game from a 6 to a 3. More and more bugs are made apparent the more the game is played, and as I'm playing more of the online mode, the more I feel the online actively detracts from the whole experience. Like, you can only have 10 horse slots, character customization (as woefully basic as it is,) and exclusive horses in the online mode, but online is so painful to subject yourself to that the extra enjoyment is vastly outweighed by the extra frustration. They could have implemented all of this "free DLC" as a tie-in to the single player mode, which at the very least has a fantastic story and character lineup. And please, with the limited story-based content in the online mode, hire some voice actors for the player characters and overhaul the cutscenes to accommodate this. Being a mute is such a lazy excuse for a company with as many resources as Rockstar.    … Expand

    The first 1/4 of the game is ok, you get to "build your character" and discover the story. But after that it gets to the "more of the same" stuff, going back and forth on the same paths with the same missions and characters. I guess the devs didn't get to play The Witcher 3...
    I really forced myself to finish the game so i could uninstall it quickly (man those 2 epilogue chapters... i don't know who designed them but he did an awful job :/ i almost gave up at one point)
    And the soundtrack is one of the worst ever made for a high-budget game in recent history.

    So I'm still looking forward to a good epic western game.    … Expand

There is barely any missions online, and numerous hack loop holes that people exploit. I see people nuking an entire server and killing everyone in one shot. One thing that was very disappointing is that you cannot sell horses or tame horses. You spend $50Red Dead Online has been a huge disappointment. It is yet another Rockstar grindy game where you spend hours grinding for nothing. There is barely any missions online, and numerous hack loop holes that people exploit. I see people nuking an entire server and killing everyone in one shot. One thing that was very disappointing is that you cannot sell horses or tame horses.     (I will change my rating once the bug is fixed.) I bought the game on the Rockstar Games Launcher. It works when online, but no matter what I tried, the offline mode (when there's no internet connection) doesn't work. GTAIV worked OK last time I tried.
    They should ditch the Rockstar Launcher altogether and give us Steam Keys. (GOG would be the best.)
    Also: I send a bug report and for    (I will change my rating once the bug is fixed.) I bought the game on the Rockstar Games Launcher. It works when online, but no matter what I tried, the offline mode (when there's no internet connection) doesn't work. GTAIV worked OK last time I tried.

    This game is dreadful really. I've given it a point for being pretty but the game play is some of the most tedious I've experienced and even having forced myself to restart it after a year and play through a solid 20 hours, I can find absolutely zero fun in this game.

    Играю в игру первый день, и не пойму, откуда столько хайпа. Забавные ситуации:
    - убил кого-то, тут же появился свидетель. Тычешь ему пушкой в лицо, говоришь, мол, подумай, а он орет, что ты убийца, и бежит дальше, несмотря на пули, летящие в зад;
    - еду на коняшке, у дороге стоит 2 бандита, и целится в жертву. Подхожу к ним, говорю, не нужно так. Они в меня стреляют. Я их убиваю.    Играю в игру первый день, и не пойму, откуда столько хайпа. Забавные ситуации:
    - убил кого-то, тут же появился свидетель. Тычешь ему пушкой в лицо, говоришь, мол, подумай, а он орет, что ты убийца, и бежит дальше, несмотря на пули, летящие в зад;
    - еду на коняшке, у дороге стоит 2 бандита, и целится в жертву. Подхожу к ним, говорю, не нужно так. Они в меня стреляют. Я их убиваю. Появляется свидетель, который зовет полицию, и я становлюсь преступником;
    - та же самая ситуация, когда вижу человека, обыскивающей труп у дилижанса;
    - вижу, грабят чей-то дилижанс, помогаю, спасенный говорит, что дилижанс не его, он просто прохожий, и я могу забрать дилижанс. Я его забираю, привожу в лагерь, мне пишет, что я не могу приезжать на дилижансе в лагерь, я его оставляю рядом, и он пропадает после загрузки;
    - шкуры животных негде хранить, нет ни сундука, ни стойки, ничего. Шкуру можно или продать, или - выкинуть;
    - законники обладают телепортацией и связью. Стоит начать любую разборку со сторонники НПС, и законники будут бесконечно телепортироваться прямо под вас. Их можно убить 100-200-300, не важно, они бесконечны;
    - ограбить поезд невозможно из-за предыдущего пункта. Не важно, в каком пустыре вы находитесь;
    - у квестов есть 2 варианта ответов: да/нет, или пойду сам/пошлю компаньона.

    Когда меня бьют, я боюсь ударить в ответ, что бы тут же не попасть в розыск. Какой-то не дикий запад, а симулятор тотального полицейского государства. Вместо городов, где боятся быть шерифами, мы получаем армию федералов, которая по средствам спецсвязи и телепортации всегда прибудет на любой зов.

    Игра была бы хороша, как интерактивный фильм. Как версия низкобюджетной компании. Как демка. В этих случаях я бы поставил очень хорошую оценку. Но, когда ты везде слышишь, какая она бесподобная, заходишь в нее, а там - такое, то, извините. Неоправданные ожидания очень сильно бьют по рейтингу. Причем, заметьте, я не пишу про техническую часть, баги, оптимизацию, качество портирования с консоли и т.д.

    Из плюсов, мне сильно понравился покер. Когда ходишь вокруг стола, смотришь, как НПС сдают карты, держат их в руках, делают ставки, а потом ты садишься к ним за стол, и играешь вместе с ними - это очень круто. Я, даже, попытался найти какой-то 3D покер, где можно посидеть в друзьями, и поиграть по "скайпу", ни ничего подобного не нашел. Покер изумительный. Игра могла бы быть хорошей, если бы что-то сделали с законниками. А так, можно или поставить мод с какой-то телепортацией и чисто пройти сюдет, или ждать каких-то модов, где вас перестанут убивать бесконечные законники, хотя бы за самозащиту.    … Expand

    rdr2 maybe the most overrated game of all time. I loved rdr1 and bought xbox one for it. but rdr2 is not a game, it's a cowboy simulation. and a very good simulation but not a game. there's no fun in it.

    interesting story, but bugs in the side quests still over one yer after premiere, some mechanics do not look like fully tested, to much of console filling

    An absorbing tale that will test your machine and tear ducts. A game that did not suffer from being brought to PC. RDR2 is worth overcoming all the shortcomings, since it is one of the best games of the decade. [Issue#300]

    My biggest warning to anyone considering purchasing RDR2 on PC is that you need to have patience when you set it up. Take the time to go through each graphics option, compare your performance on Vulkan vs. DirectX 12, and tailor the game to your specs. Once you have the game tuned, there’s no better way to experience it than on PC.
