    What is this mess??? Performance is absolutely garbage and no, I don't have a potato computer. I have i9 9900k, RTX 2080 Ti and DDR4 RAM and I can't still not get decent performance. Is this Denuvo at work again? Instead of buying expensive DRM that will eventually be cracked anyways, maybe they should spend more time and money optimizing their game. And it requires over 100 GB of storage space. Ridiculous. Avoid like the plague, in fact avoid it even more.     i can't play game 1 sec, so i don't know how fun this game.

    Even with 2070 Super, I can't play even 1 second.... this game is say "don't play game and get out home".... so this game is god game.

    The game is amazing, but you have to play it to enjoy it. unfortunately you can`t play on pc. It crashes, you have bad performance and when the game doesn`t crash it is the Rockstar`s launcher that crashes and closes the game as well.

    Game was running quite good on my 9900k and 2080 super around 60 fps on 2K ultra settings. PC control scheme is terrible tho, but still quite fun game. Then I got to Valentine and it started to always crash there after few minutes. I managed to get refund from rockstar support after hour of waiting, and then trying their ridiculous advice, which did not help.

There's additionally a ton of bugs, some as lazy and glaring as spending 90% of your time with a mouse cursor in the middle of the screen when using a controller.     Pre-ordered the game on PC from Rockstar to try and support them, and here I am 3 days after launch, still unable to play. My refund request hasn't been answered either (obviously Rockstar). Well done! The requested refunds should be released as the product isn't as advertised, simple as that.

    Game launched for me on release. But there are major game breaking main storyline bugs that halt progression on the main storyline.
    Then after 12 hours of progression on side missions while waiting for main story to be fixed, Rockstar updates the game and corrupts my save.
    I can move my save game files and it runs, from square one. Game crashes as soon as save game finishes loading.

    Beautiful game, good story, but unfortunately the game is not stable. I'm experiencing crashes frequently enough that I'm going to shelve the game until the crashes are fixed. Which probably won't happen from the looks of it.     The performance is not so great either, even on top-spec PC. I have 2080 Ti and 16-core 3950X and can play at high settings in 1440p at 60 fps, but going ultra results in some dips below. 4K at 60 fps just not possible.    … Expand

    Where to begin with the negatives. I'm only going to go into the top few. There are just too many to count. First, the interface is horrible. One of the poorest designs I have seen in my life and I've been playing PC games since the mid-1980s. It is just a confusing mess that makes no sense. And there is no guide to help you learn things. Worse still is the networking code. It is some of the buggiest pre-alpha code I have ever come across. Good luck getting it to work. My three friends and I all have problems constantly. About to finish a mission and reap rewards? Not any longer! You'll get dropped at the last second and get nothing for all your effort. Sometimes, you won't even get dropped, you'll just not get any rewards with no explanation. Lastly, there is no system built into the game to stop hackers. It is a cheaters paradise. Jerks constantly do stupid things that mess up your game (when the buggy networking code isn't, which is rare).

    I was so excited to see this game when it came out and so disappointed when it arrived. It has been out now for several months and there have been several patches, but it really hasn't improved. It is still a buggy mess that is plagued by constant cheating.    … Expand

    I never played a shooter game with mouse cursor hanging around untill now. I was going to return the game just realized I spent 2 hours trying to fix the mouse cursor. For 2 hours its just 1min of actually playing the game

    As always, PC version of a game is made just to earn extra money. Even though it released 1 year after the console version, the game is poorly optimized, full of bugs and so on. Clearly Rockstar don't care about PC versions of their games.

Rock Star уже в конец обленились, выпускают игры раз в 6 лет, с портированием на пк у них видимо исторически не складывается - 2 года ждали гта, еще годик    ЭТО УЖЕ БЕСПРЕДЕЛ!!

    Its just a hassle to play that breaks the immersion evey time it gets going cos it has to tell you what button to press to interact in its one of many 100s of action scenes; because its absoutley clear the guys making the different senarios had no fecking idea either. And those action scenese arent like the witcher; thought out and planned.

    Nope. A few hours into your realistic western gameplay you will have depopulated half of america. but if you smack a guys teeth out in abar you are gonna get railed on.

    And the saves dont work properly.

    - Графика в ААА-проекте 2019(пусть даже 2018) года хуже, чем в GTA V 2015 года, или, как минимум, на том же уровне, а системные требования, при этом, намного выше.(+- ультра пресет, 1920х1080).
    - Проблемы с запуском: чертов RSC иногда просто не дает войти в игру по причине различного рода ошибок, а иногда вообще говорит, что не запущен клиент Steam, с которого и была запущена игра.
    - Прогрузка в реальном времени: предметы время от времени появляются из ниоткуда, вроде лошадей, вывесок, а один раз и целого этажа здания! И это при том, что игра стоит на SSD...
    Также и после загрузки игры - сначала появляется голова Артура, а потом все остальное: тело, здания и т.п.
    - Из плюсов пока не могу выделить ничего, так как по причине кривого лаунчера не могу оценить игру в полной мере. Отыграл всего 2 с небольшим часа. Но единственное чувство, посещавшее меня за эти два часа - это скука. Серьёзно, мне не особо нравится сама концепция этой игры, но я искренне хотел дать ей шанс.

    И что же я(мы все) получил/-и? Как по мне - полнейшее разочарование.

    Rockstar должно быть стыдно выпускать ЭТО в таком состоянии!

    На 14.12.2019 то, от чего у меня полыхает больше всего:
    Rockstar выпускает игру в steam на месяц позже, чем в EGS, хапнув деньжат за эксклюзивность.
    Мало того, в steam выходит абсолютно кривая *****, в которую невозможно играть. Как в EGS, но только спустя месяц, ну не смешно ли?
    Мало? То ли еще будет: меньше чем через 10 дней Rockstar выпускает патч, который ломает игру и плюсом ко всему вешает на неё 20% скидку, скрывшись в закат с нашими кровными шекелями.
    Если бы была номинация "Анти Игра Года", то я знаю, кто взял бы гран-при.
    Накипело.

    Резюмируя:
    1. Не покупайте это, не повторяйте наших ошибок.
    2. RDR2 на ПК - очередное доказательство того, что критикам в 2019 верить не стоит.

    На всякий случай, оставлю конфиг системы:

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Tenho uma 1080TI Strix e posso dizer que o desempenho está bem abaixo do que eu esperava, o jogo tem muitos presets
    de configurações de gráficos para alterar, porem mesmo reduzindo alguns detalhes o desempenho ainda permanece ruim na casa dos 48 fps sendo o GTA V rodo com quase tudo no ultra em 4k 60fps. Agora olhei alguns reviews como esse da guru3d e notei que as RTX 2070 e 2070 super estão desempenhando melhor que as 10x séries que tem desempenhos semelhantes. Estranho isso não?    … Expand

    Everything about this game is a fraud. Though I can run it normally on my 2070, it looks simple, just like game from 2010s, it's boring and it' s overhyped. We have to do something to stop game industry cheating us like that. At least please do not buy this game.

    The game on my PC is completely unplayable at every graphics setting! The game play stutters and completely freezes constantly for up to 30 seconds at a time!    Everyone is talking about the launcher issues but it's the game when you get in that's the real problem!

Sometimes PC comes out with buggy launches.     Game doesn't work properly on PC, it has awful optimization and lots of technical problems. I just cannot believe that porting RDR2 on PC took almost a year with such result. I don't recommend buying it until they fix all the problems (this will take more than a couple of weeks I think).

    Этот перенос на ПК, просто жесть. Имея систему с i7 9700k 2080super 32gb плюсь игра установлена на М2 с овер скоростью. И у меня было 40фпс на ультра, вы серьезно рукстур. Обосрались вы теперь точно конкретно!!!!!!

    I have an REALLY good pc, i run every game on 200+ fps. i was so happy when i bought this game..... BOOM its open fine, but its ass at runnig the game normal, like **** it freezes 24/7. u cant play the game right now.....

    Best in the industry verified this game is not compatible with most Intel processors. Likely will not be fixed and Rockstar will not acknowledge the processor issues publicly, almost a full week after launch.

No amount of changing Nvidia Ctrl panel settings would fix it. ended up opening Task Manager, task killing the game, and opening it in "safe mode" allowed it to come up in a windowed mode that finally let me see wtf was going on and make changes.     Finally got to play. I made it out of the frozen mountains in story mode, but every time I try to go to the nearby town with Uncle (quest), the game crashes. I've driven the Wagon to town 3 times now and it keeps crashing at various times during the mission, no ability to save at all so I just have to keep driving the Wagon to town. Wagon riding simulator 2019. :*(

    Криво, очень криво!! Я не думаю что даже такая игра способна жрать ресурсы на столько сильно. Где обещанный 60фпс? Мы в место этого видим сильно проработанную и сырую игру.     The fact that they haven't patched the most game breaking bugs after it's been out for a little under 10 days is astoundning. an absolute **** joke of a port. the mouse icon wont go away after loading, the screen will start messing up to the point where half the mini map just **** breaks. constant crashes. even Fallout 76 was in a better state at launch.

I cant get a refund because ''played'' more than 2 hours. Actually crashing all the time when entering cities and tweaking graphics setting. NEVER PRE-ORDER A GAME FROM ROCKSTAR

Had to create a ticket on their website after looking around the internet for an hour to see what you had to do to get a refund. Hope to god that I get the refund for the hundred bucks I spent on it, and the other hundred dollars I spend on gold shortly after installing the game. Hoping that it'll go through considering that I've only had a day of actual game play on it and I've only had it for nine days (3 of those days just downloading the game itself). This refund is the last straw for me. If they can return my money I might consider buying the game again once it's been trough several months worth of patches, but that'll depend on if Rockstar will do the right thing and help me out. My advice, please wait on purchasing this pc port. Very unsatisfied with the release and not at all happy about the way Rockstar has made it virtually impossible to receive tech help.… Expand

    Two weeks in and I still can't play the game. About 30 minutes into a game it crashes loosing progress and at other times have the mouse cursor stuck on the screen. I have tried the fixes on the support site but still cant get the game to run properly. User support is trash and I am unable to get a refund. Don't waste your money on this mess of a PC port until they fix the game.

    If you are the kind of person who wants to achieve or feel anything in life avoid this game. It is the epitome of everything the media tells you that you want but makes you feel nothing inside and you try to defend it because you spend £69.99 on it. The missions are completely identical, boring, easy and require zero original thought whatsoever to complete. Getting from mission to mission is tedious and so is everything else and the moment you start to get immersed in the world doing your own thing you'll have a major FPS drop, lose immersion and realize you are just a **** playing a game for children even though it's completely toxic and 18+.

    I've had zero...i think they are called 'feelings' ...moments regarding the game play, I could complete the hardest level in this game while eating my dinner. Missions provide zero room for initiative, something that Rockstar pioneered to the mainstream open world audience. (not actually pioneered)

    I almost think that Rockstar sabotaged this launch on purpose so they can justify to themselves not releasing there next GTA game on PC, because obviously its too much hassle to entertain people that aren't children and actually scale optimisation across multiple devices. This is also backed by the fact that they bait everyone into buying consoles by releasing on them first and i wouldn't be surprised if they did a deal with nvidia to **** up this launch to cross-sell them more of their next gen GPUs. If you think that is paranoid, then why do you think they release on consoles a whole year before PC? To get pc gamers to buy consoles obviously...

Да, у меня не топ комплектация, ryzen 2600 и gtx1060, но разве это имеет значение, когда я лично видел, как играЕсли бы я успел - вернул бы деньги. К сожалению, 2 недели прошло и мне было некогда. Stage 2 was set to Ultra Hard mode as I couldn't get past the loading screen at first. Then they surprise you with a huge twist when the game resolution causes you to not be able to play and the addedRockstar has outdone themselves with this game! The download took a few hours. Rockstar's game launcher was very nostalgic with it's primitive feel and outdated and inoperable mechanics. Stage 2 was set to Ultra Hard mode as I couldn't get past the loading screen at first. Then they surprise you with a huge twist when the game resolution causes you to not be able to play and the added hurdle of not being able to adjust it anywhere was mind boggling. The end stage took the cake however, getting in touch with their "tech support" who were actually trolls set out to waste your time and cause you stress which was topped off by them telling you that you may be refunded and then never getting back with you and not refunding you. That was the creme de la creme! A masterpiece of poorly designed technology mixed with pathetic customer service. The worst gaming experience ever made in the history of gaming! It ruined my memories from PS4 version. DON'T BUY THIS GAME... Not yet... it's a huge mess.     Game was pre-ordered. Today is November 30 and I still can NOT play this game in case of Activation Error. My SC account has not entitled to RDR2. !!! Support absolutely does nothing !!! Almost the whole month I can not run the game. Shame on Rockstar.
    Also I've read about a lot of cases when people bought the game, but didn't get it. Massive losing of money!

    De nada adianta uma campanha excelente se não consigo jogar ela. Na primeira semana do jogo era simplesmente uma renderização inexistente. Quando saiu um patch depois de 1 semana, deixando-a menos pior.
    O modo online, que mantém a vida útil do game MUITO maior do que a campanha, não tem quase NADA pra fazer. São missões repetitivas, entediantes que no segundo dia você já larga o game.
    Os problemas na mecânica do jogo são infinitos. Por exemplo se você der ALT+TAB e voltar pro jogo, seu cavalo ou personagem começa a andar em círculos.
    São diversas as vezes que já perdi missões por causa do laço atravessar o personagem que eu queria atingir.
    Engasgadas constantes, principalmente na hora de troca de tiros. Isso ocorre tanto no online, quanto na campanha.
    O acampamento sendo desmontado aleatoriamente no meio do game. Além da constante dificuldade que é em instalar um novo acampamento, que é extremamente bugado. As vezes tenho que trocar de sessão 2x para conseguir monta-lo.
    Cavalo constantemente tropeçando em objetos que você tenta desviar, mas mesmo assim ele acaba tomando um caminho diferente da ordem dada e caindo. Já perdi diversas missões por causa disso.
    Na hora de mirar em alguém, a mira "puxa" para o cavalo ao invés de mirar a arma em um inimigo, fazendo você virar peneira sem você conseguir reagir.
    As expansões do online pelo visto vão ser aquele "feijão com arroz" padrão da Rockstar no GTA V. Constantemente serão lançadas missões de abastecimento de um local para vender o produto disso, sempre lançando uma mais vantajosa que a outra.
    Um "pay to win" no online, disponibilizando vários equipamentos antecipadamente por ouro, fazendo assim o pessoal comprar com micro-transações, pois as pessoas não tem o dia inteiro para jogar e farmar dinheiro e RP pra upar.
    Preço das coisas no online ridiculamente caros e com pouco conteúdo. Assim como nas atualizações do GTA V, que um pneu custa quase $200,000), uma decoração de sela no cavalo pode custar $150.
    O laço é feito do mesmo material que papel higiênico. Pra resolver isso colocaram o "laço reforçado", que salvo engano custa $380. Sua única função é de ao invés do alvo se soltar a cada 2 minutos, o tempo passa a ser 2 minutos e 30 segundos.
    Problemas com queda de conexão constante, perdendo muitas missões por causa disso (tenho certeza que o problema não é com a internet, já que não tenho problema com nenhum outro jogo).
    Personagens do online a cavalo fechando o seu caminho diversas vezes, e você não conseguir desviar o seu cavalo e acaba caindo. Isso em uma missão de perseguição é extremamente frustrante.
    Nerf absurdo dos loots em personagens que você saqueia no online, quase não compensando fazê-lo, se não fosse pelos itens de colecionador.
    Você só consegue desbloquear missões de ofício (caçador de recompensas, mercador e colecionador) se para cada um destes você pagar 15 ouros. Isso é o cúmulo do ridículo! Quem não compra a versão de 280 reais ou não pegou na pré-venda e ganhou 50 ouros, é basicamente forçado a jogar por SEMANAS pra conseguir juntar a quantidade necessária de ouro. A única opção é comprar as versões citadas acima ou por micro-transação.
    A honra do seu personagem é extremamente difícil de abaixar, limitando assim a história da campanha do online, forçando você a pagar 3 ouros pra reduzir sua honra.
    Não é possível assaltar trens e estabelecimentos no online.
    Algumas muitas vezes na hora de derrubar alguém para amarrar a pessoa, o personagem ou desiste da ação e fica encarando o alvo, virando peneira.
    Talvez o ponto mais triste é de não conseguir finalizar um animal ferido utilizando a faca de caça apertando E no online, assim como na campanha. Então você tem que encarar o animal ferido agonizando até a morte, e ainda no final receber desonra por “sangramento”, sendo que você não tem opção sem estragar o couro dele.
    A carroça de caça foi com certeza uma excelente adição, que poderia ter também na campanha. Mas pelo amor de Deus, o cavalo tropeça em qualquer degrau e destrói a carroça. Ainda bem que você não perde as carcaças dentro dela, mas é chato o cavalo tropeçar e sair andando como se nada tivesse acontecido pra longe da sua carroça. Então você tem que pagar $8 pra concertar, ou contratar um seguro de $125.
    As missões do online além de serem repetitivas e sem conteúdo nenhum, mesmo as desbloqueadas com ouro, pagam muito pouco, na casa de $10 por 15 minutos de game. Isso é totalmente ridículo!
    A única coisa que realmente você consegue fazer dinheiro no online é caçar itens colecionáveis, que é um saco.

Столько ошибок, столько проблем и этого я ждал несколько месяцев (я не сразу заинтересовался этой игрой), и за это я отдал 2500 рублей?     I just created account to warn you. Don't buy it! I am giving 3 because of 27 hours of play without problem except 2 crash. But game doesn't launch anymore and thousands of players doesn't know whether it will fixed or not, it s total disaster for Rockstar. Wait for non-broken version of the game . If they can't solve those problems I will wait for cracked version and will not play my myI just created account to warn you. Don't buy it!     Плюсов много.Но из-за оптимизации я не могу ими насладиться. Сама игра нравится, но прощать наплевательское отношение к игровому сообществу я не собираюсь. Если рокстар предало фанатов пк, то пускай и остаются на своей консоли. Нам такой пофигизм не нужен. А сюжет возможно в пиратке пройду. Обычно там и оптимизация игр намного лучше. Правда подумаю.     It is an unfortunate thing that Rockstar one of the most prolific game developers that bring us such amazing experiences give little love to the pc community. They used to make wacky goofy games and one offs that pushed the envelope in different directions and took risks but Take 2 is a disease riddle with corporate money addicted micro transaction loving soulless garbage. I love Red Dead and put hundreds of hours into it and more on the remaster before Red Dead 2 but this is unacceptable. Why is it that the pc is an after thought that developers just throw crap at a wall and hope it sticks? The pc is what gave Rockstar it's billions of dollars from online and mod communities yet they give so little of a f$#% that it hurts their well earned reputation. Red Dead 2 is an amazing well built story with compelling characters and story beats that keep you committed and engaged throughout it's lengthy campaign. This is one of the most engrossing and beautiful experiences I have had on my Xbox one X but the pc version is a hot garbage fire that is unacceptable. You are made by your customers and destroyed by the same people who once held you in such high esteem. The years of love and childhood fond memories can only last so long before you start to get torn out of the past by just how greedy and disrespectful these devs have treated this community. There is noaccident that CDProject Red is held so high as the gold standard of how to treat your community and give them what you want yourself from a game. Once you put money above fun, exciting stories and strip single player dlc out for some boring "community" mods and games as a service nonsense you deserve everything said about you and seeing so many who loved you starting to leave. You make games for the love and enjoyment it gives you and everyone who interacts with it's world. People give their time, attention, and hard earned dollars for a product when there are so many games that they do not have to support or give you that valuable commodity. Step back and really think about how this affects your company and make a decision money or enjoyable enthralling stories that change the industry because you are almost a shell of the once great Rockstar.… Expand

    Messing around online with friends is fine and all and the story had promise. However, this game is mostly riddled with repetitive fetch quests, lack of options, and time gating elements. First couple hours of story mode is pretty solid if you can grab this game for free or something.

    An absorbing tale that will test your machine and tear ducts. A game that did not suffer from being brought to PC. RDR2 is worth overcoming all the shortcomings, since it is one of the best games of the decade. [Issue#300]

    My biggest warning to anyone considering purchasing RDR2 on PC is that you need to have patience when you set it up. Take the time to go through each graphics option, compare your performance on Vulkan vs. DirectX 12, and tailor the game to your specs. Once you have the game tuned, there’s no better way to experience it than on PC.
