    Im decrypting this game for more than 3 hours and its going to take another 1 hour at best. Game release from rockstar on Pc at its best like always.

    Неиграбельно. Первые 3 дня я просто не мог её запустить. Помогло лишь обновление БИОСа, вышедшего 7 (SIC!) ноября. Сейчас же постоянные вылеты. Рефанд.

    The game is GREAT. Did coplete it on PS PRO.
    I buy PC utimate edition only because I respect ROCKSTAR and games they made (Also I did buy it on console).
    But after what they did to PC. I will newer preorder any games from them. 2080ti - 30 fps on 4K. Is this a JOKE or something? Grafic are not way better then GTAV! And what about recomended system requirments? Does 25 fps on 1060    The game is GREAT. Did coplete it on PS PRO.

    Waited for the game, bought the game, disappointed, deleted, no optimization, GTX 1060-6GB-medium-high graphics settings-25 frames. I wish I could get the money back. Better would waited for its in Steam.

    Игра не запускается - перепробованы все рекомендации, но эффекта нет никакого(. Жаль что разработчики так отнеслись к своему продукту и пользователям. Более не планирую вкладывать деньги в их творчество.

    I am very frustrated with Take Two Interactive/Rockstar Games. I spent over 200$ to upgrade my pc to the recommended specifications and I am met with severe cpu spiking and constant freezes that make the game unplayable. The settings do not scale properly to allow better performance. There are many issues and bugs. I can't even properly lower my resolution without bugs appearing.

    Being    I am very frustrated with Take Two Interactive/Rockstar Games.     Being patronized by Rockstar to "update my drivers" was a bad move. I feel a strong presence of corporate interference with this launch. I get the impression from take two that they struck a deal with gpu companies (nvidia, amd) to coerce more players into buying high end gpu's. I'm angry that I spent money on recommended (which in my mind means 60fps at med-high settings) hardware that turns out to be subpar even on some of the lowest settings. The game runs even worse at lower settings.

    There needs to be some type of recourse for these publishers that pressure developers into pushing out subpar product. I for one will never preorder another Rockstar title after this disappointment.

    I built a pc based off the prediction of this release 2 years ago, and for this to fail as hard as it is and to be given a patronizing response over obvious greed is a real bummer.

    It might be a good game if I could play in it without any problem. And the hardest quest in it is to play with your friend. We spent about an hour to connect each other. Worst launch I've ever seen. And it seems that developers just don't care about us. Already week is gone but nothing changed.

    Боже, это шедевр! Такой тупой и нудной игры я еще не видел. Меня предупреждали что она "затянута" и "местами нудная", НО ЭТО ПРОСТО ***НЯ! Интересно играть первые 3 часа. Потом одно и тоже. Геймплей искусственно растянут до невероятных размеров. Делать в игре нечего. Куча крафта который не нужен в игре вообще.
    Талисманы, оружие, деньги, улучшение лагеря, охота, рыбалка, покер,    Боже, это шедевр! Такой тупой и нудной игры я еще не видел.     достаточно и стандартных с головой отпадает желание искать этих животных по всей карте и тратить 20 часов на крафт. Миссии фигня полнейшая они начинаются и заканчиваются одинаково.

    Вот сценарий:
    0) Едем до квеста 5 мин
    1) Начинаем квест и едем на указанное место еще 5 мин
    2) Делаем квест еще мин 5
    3) едем назад в лагерь 5-10 мин чтобы начать новый
    Нудно...
    В игре есть репутация которая ни на что не влияет. Сначала всем помогаешь +, украл лошадь -, убил 1000 человек в городе по сюжету ничего...
    Выбора нет в сюжете вообще, ни на что влиять не можете. 2019 год найс!
    Мир огромный и пустой, квестов интересных нет. прошел игру не могу вспомнить
    ни одного момента интересного который бы удивил.
    ЕЗДА, ЕЗДА, ЕЗДА!
    Симулятор езды на лошади.

    После квестов Ведьмака 3, где любой квест был сделан на отлично,
    любой побочный квест вызывал эмоции и восторг,
    то в рдр 2 вызывает только БОЛЬ как все топорно сделано.

    Ну и вылеты тоже портят игру. Особенно когда вылетает под конец миссии и
    тебе надо опять ехать и слушать херню 15 мин...

    Самая нудная игра в которую я когда либо играл.

    The game is unoptimized there is no gpu to play rdr2 on ultra 4k 60 fps the rtx2080ti and 8700k nearly runs 45 fps and drops to 20 fps I am disappointed rockstar

    Rockstar: recommends a gtx 1060
    Game itself: runs at 30fps on medium settings on a gtx1060
    (Not to mention the plethora of bugs)
    I feel like even gta 4 was better optimized than this

Why can’t I disable video memory limitation? I want to choose the settings myself! In GTA 5, you could disable it in the settings, why didn’t you do such a function in RDR? Unclear.     Disregard for PC players !!! Only the game menu is launched, in the video settings of the game, the amount of video memory is not true! The loading menu freezes when trying to download a single game!

    Отвратительный порт. Запускается не с первого раза, периодически фризит. Оптимизация отвратительная. Тестирование перед запуском в продажу явно не делалось. Положительные обзоры от критиков явно проплачены.

    Well done Rockstar, raking in mega bucks on a game not ready to be released. When you are making that much money on an overpriced buggy game, I guess it’s easy to overlook the grief you are putting your clients through, while you’re on the way to the bank…way to go...sigh

    It's a disgrace and having bought most of the R* titles down the years, I will never give them money again. They haven't even publicly acknowledged their failures, they just keep releasing patches that DON'T fix the game.

    I bet their QA/Test Lead is sh1tting himself currently and rightly so. Whilst I appreciate PC releases have a complexity attached on release which differs from consoles but this experience stinks of a team that hasn't tested properly. I've never had this experience with ANY other pre-ordered or purchased game.

    The fact that Gaming Media have effectively buried the issue and CNET releasing some nonsense article stating the 'majority of problems are fixed' - I don't believe it, I suspect R* have reached out as a damage limitation exercise and these **** journalists have agreed so as to not risk getting future pre-releases for review.

    If I could give a minus score I would.

    Finally, their 14 day refund policy is a joke, thieving scumbags.    … Expand

    I5 6500 has 100% overload. In cutscenes. As result with 1080ti on medium quality: min fps 0.1, medium 64 fps, max 118. And it's unplayable.

    Rockstar did you even test this or did you hire Bethesda to do your testing? I tried all the launch suggestions and still cannot get this game to launch more than 5 seconds into a loading screen. Well done Rockstar, well done.

    Что касается самой игры, проработки, сюжета, огрового мира и т.д то естественно высщий пилотаж! Игра сама шикарнейшая, но только сама игра идеальная а вот оптимизация просто ноль...ребята ну вы издеваетесь чтоли...даже мощные компы ее не очень та уж хорошо тянут..оптимизация на нуле...есть игры требовательнее РДР2 но они идут в сто раз лучше и выдают очень хороший фпс так как естьЧто касается самой игры, проработки, сюжета, огрового мира и т.д то естественно высщий пилотаж!     I tried it 3 times to play to the end. Could not do it because the game is so awful. It has the WORST pacing in any game ever!! I am a big fan of RDR1 but this one is quite unplayable for me. No fast travel option TO your camp only from your camp WTH R* what where you thinking? Hunting is boring af, fighting is boring af, shooting is even worse - even a monkey could do that. It's one ofI tried it 3 times to play to the end. Could not do it because the game is so awful. It has the WORST pacing in any game ever!!     Это ужас. Купил, долго пытался запустить, то файлы отсутствуют, то вылет просто, но когда получилось, на экране постоянно был курсор.
    Есть много описанных способов решения проблемы, мне не помог ни один. Оформил возврат.

    До патча 14 ноября, можно было еще как то его убрать с помощью "Проверки файлов в Epic Games". Но после патча............ больше ничего не помогает.

    Очень сильно разочарован в игре и очень разочарован в Rockstar Games.

    Keeps forgetting my settings. Often crashes when I try to apply settings. Controls haven't been adjusted for PC and are awful. Shameful. I wish I could get a refund. Don't bother.

    To be honest, I CAN NOT wholeheartedly recommend this expensive AAA game for a few reasons:

    It's an over-hyped game overall, I would suggest you first pirate the game/borrow this game from a friend just to see the gameplay or how it runs on your computer, then buy it at the discount price.

    Seemed fun but I lost internet and now there's nothing I can do to get into the game to play the single player. Hotspoting didn't work, I've been trying everything for the last hour and this is completely unnecessary. This is all to avoid piracy, but I should have just pirated the game to begin with.

    The game is horrible about its optimization and performance.

    Game literally won't even launch and is literally unplayable. I've tried everything in their support page and more, my drivers are up to date, I disabled my antivirus, I updated Windows, etc, nothing works. Rockstar had plenty of time to release this game, it was bad enough they waited this long for the PC release, but to release it this broken this much later is no excuse.

    Not sure what the Critics were drinking. They gave a 94 while us Users averaged about ZERO. The game in its present state is pretty well unplayable.

    У меня на i7 9700KF и RTX 2060 на ультра 16-22 фпс. Где оптимизация? Бывают вылеты,ошибки,у многих игра не запускается. Полный провал.

    Had to create an account just to make this review. I have a 1070 and Ryzen 2700, 16GB of 3000Mhz RAM.

    The game is a flippin' mess. Can hardly get 60 FPS at 1080p on low-medium settings. There is also an issue with textures rendering incredibly poorly, even when they're set to ultra (it looks like an N64 game).     Couldn't wait to play the game after work on release day only to get an error game unexpectedly stopped working error. Tried all suggestions, updated drivers, windows, changed resolution, ran as admin, still cant play a game i payed $60 for. Shame on you Rockstar - all trust has been broken. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Boring storyline, its an endless boring conversation. repelling missions, controls cluncky, very slow walk, weapon tab does collide when moving mouse. riding in missions and not being able to skip the endless boring talks, is the most boring thing in this game. playing for 7hrs...5 min action. Missions are too restricted, i once told my horse to flee by accident.     Muito mal otimizado a versão para PC, a maior placa mal consegue rodar o jogo no Full, a comunidade maioria baixou via torrent pirata, o jogo está esquecido já, e agora com este lançamento de mal otimização, o frame travado e falhas ao abrir, só tira ainda mais o alcance de uma comunidade decente no Pc.

При конфиге в 16 озу/ 1050ti/ i7 7700hq игра просто не держит fps. Повысив настройки до средних - 25 кадров. Вопрос! Где оптимизация?Наибольшее разочарование года.     I want to love this game. But after spending over 30 hours on it with at least 7 spent on useless animations I must admit defeat. It feels like Rockstar have sacrificed a lot of things for the sake of realism.

    On my wishlist for a patch is;- An option in the settings for shorter animations - The ability to cook all meat of the same kind at once - More responsive and faster aiming -    I want to love this game. But after spending over 30 hours on it with at least 7 spent on useless animations I must admit defeat. It feels like Rockstar have sacrificed a lot of things for the sake of realism.

    On my wishlist for a patch is;-
    An option in the settings for shorter animations
    - The ability to cook all meat of the same kind at once
    - More responsive and faster aiming
    - Skip the animal rating, a pelt gets ruined if you use the wrong weapon or shoot it multiple times it's ruined if you do it right the pelt/carcass is perfect
    - Horses that doesn't fall because you rode too fast over a rock so small you didn't even notice it

    My wishlist for a future game is;
    - All of the above
    - Please, please, please let us as players be creative in how we choose to tackle issues in story missions

    Ugly ass textures, even at 2.5x resolution scaling. GTA5 scaling is way better with noticable textures upgrade. What a waste of $60. Xbox one x version is better and more optimized. If you are playing on your small 27in monitor then ignore this. Try 50 inch plus tv.

    Had a great time on the ps4 and wanted to play it on my PC at a higher framerate. The game just literally doesn't work. People that are blessed by rockstar of david to allow it to run are getting horrid framerates on high end hardware as well.

    The game is full of bugs. When I downloaded rdr2 it take me 2 hours to start the game, there was an error and the game didn't launched. Even games from torrents launches better. Now I have bad graphics even on my monster I9-9900k, GTX 1080ti. The npcs are walking and stucking in hause walls. Mirrors have awfull graphics. Very bad start for the Rockstar ģames and us users.

    My biggest warning to anyone considering purchasing RDR2 on PC is that you need to have patience when you set it up. Take the time to go through each graphics option, compare your performance on Vulkan vs. DirectX 12, and tailor the game to your specs. Once you have the game tuned, there’s no better way to experience it than on PC.
