    There seems to be an unwritten law that boxing games and PC don’t mix well. And Real Boxing with its mobile origins is just another sad example.

    I'm going to be as fair as possible with this game because its fun and it has a lot of effort behind.

    The good side is this game is really fun, you work hard on your fighter, train him on different aspects and notice the good results on the ring, the contestants get progressively stronger, more agile and dynamic... its actually pretty easy to grow confident and end up on the ground, the game follows the right path when it comes to boxing.

    The bad side is the 3D model part and the customization, marketing makes you believe you can CREATE from 0 your own fighter and that's completely false, you can choose one of the existing fighters and change some of the characteristics such as hair, color of the equipment or tattoos, but not the fighter face or body appearance, something critical in my opinion. In my personal experience, playing as a white boxer, I've faced many other boxers that look EXACTLY the same as me and thinking "Oh boy, here comes the clone wars again..." If developers want to improve the game, this has to change.

    Adding a feminine league to the game would make it very interesting but I advice to focus on adding model diversity or a decent fighter creator.    … Expand

    The game itself is quite fun. Fighting mechanics are alright besides moving around the ring. I have went through entire game.... in about 3 short evenings so its way to easy and too short. Player creation practically doesn't exists, all you can do is pick up existing player, change his hair/beard and outfit color. CPU are also made this way... same guy with different skin tone and different haircuts and they all have same fighting style plus they are challenge only if there is more than 10% difference on the skills.
    My advice... play it, but don't pay much for it. Game has great potential but most of it is unused.    … Expand

    I'm not sure why, but whenever I find out that a PC game is just some lame mobile port, I'm not too happy about it. Actually I do know why; buying a mobile game for the PC makes me feel gypped, hustled, ripped off, like I paid real money for some fake game made for lesser devices. Like someone took my hard earned money right out of my pocket when I wasn't looking. Like a thief, a con-man, a low-life would do! Needless to say, I don't think too much about mobile gaming, at the moment at least. And in case you haven't guessed it yet, this game is in fact a mobile port.

    The majority of mobile games I've played felt incredibly easy, most likely to account for the fact that they're meant to be played on a touch screen without a physical controller. And this game is no different. Which is a bit upsetting for me to admit actually, because at first glance this game comes off as a pretty solid boxing simulator that I never would have guessed originated on smartphones. But after playing it for a few hours I quickly realized how bad of a game it really is, and how clearly meant for smartphones it initially was. Basically all you have to do is lose a handful of matches, level your player up, then never lose again. Because the only difficulty in this game comes from having a weak player. After his levels raise, your opponent's weaknesses become blatantly apparent and all you need to do from there is blindly punch and jab your way to the top. Seriously, all you need are your right and left jabs and nothing else. The game is seriously that easy.

    Aside from the simplicity of the game, there are still plenty of other reasons to avoid this game like a week old gas station breakfast burrito. For starters, after you complete the incredibly short career mode there really isn't anything else to do, and the game doesn't even try to give you any kind of incentive to keep playing. Typical mobile game. Also, the announcer has about twenty things he says in total and you'll grow tired of them all within an hour. Typical mobile game. The intros are the same for every match, the controls are good but could be better, and there is barely any variety of places to fight. The only thing that may be redeeming about this game is the online play, but I never got into that because I was too discouraged by the single player experience. At least I got this game in a cheap bundle for a few bucks. And for that I'm grateful.    … Expand
