  • Summary: Run around the maze collecting coins while being chased by spooky monsters. Outsmart the enemies in 4-player co-op games, or play the versus mode as a monster to prevent the other team from stealing all the gold from the castle.

I got this game to play with my siblings, as it looked charming and was advertised as a co-op spin on the arcade classic, Pac-man. While weI got this game to play with my siblings, as it looked charming and was advertised as a co-op spin on the arcade classic, Pac-man. While we had a few laughs for the 20 minutes we played it, we couldn't play it any longer.

The campaign has some serious design flaws. On many of the levels, there's a whole paragraph on the screen as you play that explains how an enemy or power-up works, but much of the time, you can't afford to read it because the enemies are already after you.

It also does not seem like it was built for co-op. When anyone touches an enemy, you lose a life and the level resets. Collected pellets do not reset, but neither do power-ups. This led to my brother being cornered and helpless as the enemy kept killing him over and over until we ran out of lives and were forced to start the entire campaign over again.

I got the game on sale, but even then, I was disappointed. While I admire the vision, the execution feels quite flawed.
