Pong Quest delivers fun and novel concepts in small bursts, but is weighed down by generic dungeon crawling, unbalanced abilities, and repetitive encounters.

Pong Quest is an interesting concept that really shines when played along with your friends: despite the lack of variety and depth, this reinterpretation of a legendary brand can be a really fun game to be played in local multiplayer.

PONG Quest tries to melt past and present with an RPG version of an arcade classic. Unfortunately the result doesn't stand up for its name.

The problem with Pong Quest on a whole is that for a crossover, it doesn’t lean heavily enough into RPGs to be interesting for RPGamers, and by the other side of it, you can only play so much Pong before it gets stale. Pong Quest is a cute experiment that is plagued with just too much damn Pong and not enough RPG.

Unfortunately, just about every decent thing about this game is offset by dull writing, buggy performance, and a core loop that grates on the patience after thirty minutes.
