For all of those who love tower defense and/or were in on the original PJM cult; this game is great. The 3D and recent fixes to 3D view really bring the co-op mode to life (although it would have been great to be able to "circle" 360 around the players but thats a detail.
3D brings the "physical" aspect of collecting gems, managing towers to new heights and the upgrading mechanism is just so much fun together in co-op. Get this game if you love PJM or just tower defense in general!

So far, i am not too impressed with that game. I would like to "like" it, but its quite hard.

    Gameplay:
Supported by its visuals in a negative way - the game "feels" sluggish .. and it is. Slow and bordering on .. well .. boring; there is very little actually happening. Slow enemies, slow towers without a feeling of any power. From how i felt .. very little strategical depth it is a game of patience and frustration more than tactics.
Tower upgrades are visually not very easily to see. There is a little flag about it, but no other visual clue. Displayed ranges are more an approximation and there is a SEVERE lack of information about the towers. (also a severe lack of variation compared with the tons of other prominent TD games)

    Visuals:
I like it. It is a little bit of miniature claymation and a bit of little big planet. But the design is an aquired taste ( i dont care for it) While some effects and textures are kind of hyper realistic, some FX (like dust or so) feels more like a throwback to 2d days of simulating dustclouds by drawing big "puff-sprites" as particles rather than real 3d clouds.

    Sound:
Uh, that one is weak. Towers do a mere "puff" as well as enemies. There is no audio feedback .. and so everything feels weak.

    Conclusion:
There are a ton of TD games that easily surpass this one. Although i appreciate the throwback to classic TD without a silly hero or 1st person feature... it lacks tactical depth and is overall just boring.
