Oct 20, 2015This used to be one of the best coop games out there - fun, challenging and a blast to pay....
Ruined because of microtransactions despite promises to the contrary and the every expanding release of DLC -

-
Oct 20, 2015Disappointing turn of events in a otherwise stellar game. Microtransactions previously promised as not ever going to be in the game now added. What a shame.
-
Oct 20, 2015I could repeat what ever other reviewer is saying right here, but I'll just sum it up in one simple word; Microtransactions. Payday 2 truly is a fun game, but is sadly ruined by Overkills hunger for cash.

Oct 20, 2015I can't even start the game since the day 5 update, no wonder that people are writing negative reviews to metacritic of the game payday 2. Overkill please fix.

Oct 20, 2015Overkill officially stated that micro-transactions would never be in the game. A couple of days ago they were added... Overkill needs to know that by screwing with the community, they made a mistake!
-
Oct 20, 2015Used to be good until they sold out, John Wick DLC? Alesso DLC? and now micro-transactions.
Stay away from this garbage, they'll just pump out DLC after DLC without caring about the game at all. -
Oct 20, 2015Heist simulator turned to useless DLC simulator.
Wanna take BOW on heist?? Go get. Fork?? Flag?? Here you go.
Need more characters?? Ok, take stereotypical bad Russian, Yakuza, Irish chick, John f-ing Wick. Nuff said.
Don't buy it. Seriously. -
Oct 20, 2015Playing since 2013, now it is full of bugs and the new heists lag. Not to mention that developers had to rush microsanctions that bugs become uncorrected and very low new content quality....but they're for free so I guess OVK did not bother.
-
Oct 20, 2015I had pretty much fun with it(150 h) but they said no micro-transactions. they added micro transactions that boost stats and now everything is gone to hell.
-
Oct 20, 2015Developers said this game would have safehouse customization. Over 2 years later this still isn't in the game.
They also said this game would not have any microtransactions, over 2 years later the game now has microtransactions. -
Oct 20, 2015In the CRIMEFEST updates patches from day 1 remains buggy, content being rushed out without being tested. Like today I was playing with my friends and with using bipod. I was downed but when revived I was out of nowhere.
-
Oct 19, 2015This used to be one of my favorite games, at least before Crimefest 2015. Overkill has stopped caring for its fanbase and begun to nickle and dime it. Do not buy this game, do not support this type of behavior, do not support Overkill.

Oct 19, 2015It's become a pay to pay to play game. Buy the original game, buy all the half-crapped out DLC, and now microtransactions! Fun times all around. Don't support shoddy business practices.
-
Oct 19, 2015PAYDAY 2 used to be a a grat game. I loved to Play it together with friends. I did not min the DLC, however the last update indroduced Microtransactions, that made this game to a pay2win title.
I am done with it -

Oct 19, 2015Payday 2 added micro transactions after saying they wouldn't multiple times. I have bought every dlc up until that point and all of a sudden they decide to charge more for less content.
-
Oct 19, 2015I've spent in total about 1200 hours on this game, loved it to death, attempt and finished every mission including DLC missions in stealth/loud/coop/solo. It's just so fun, so so fun, until they add Micro-transactions, at that point, I quit. They promised "No Microtransactions" then what happened? They slapped us in the face with that and put out microtransactions.
-
Oct 19, 2015Payday 2 will have no microtransactions thay said. It will be fun they said.
Almir and overkill id the worst game covpany. Nobody spitting in the community as did they, -
Oct 19, 2015they said no microtransactions. they added micro transactions that boost stats. gg not to mention that their "rebalancing" actually just broke the game and no longer is enjoyable.
-
Oct 19, 2015This company has been toying with the players via the CRIMEFEST event, one easliy see that. Microsanctions are released on day 1, then further free content follows on other days and the community would forget and support OVK even if they've been doing dishonest (lying) bussiness.

Oct 19, 2015After inital year of great gameplay, currently this game is a trash. :(
Developers lie to community, ignore it, try to get as much cash as its possible.
Sorry, you are too late. -
Oct 19, 2015How about instead of having access to all of the reviews, you instead pay $2.49 for a random review? Hell, if you're lucky, you might even get a Mint Condition "Helpful" Review! Go get 'em, tiger!
-
Oct 19, 2015Complete garbage.... played for months and now u have to pay to win......... save ur money. that is unless u like throwing ur money away, and like buying a bad version of a good game.

Oct 9, 2013PayDay 2 is one of the nicest surprises of the year. Overkill Software understands the atmosphere of gangster movies and wisely improves these pieces of gameplay, that might have been disappointing in the first game. The sequel is better in almost every way - you can play a thief and enjoy good character development and shooting systems. I really hope, that PayDay 3 will be even better.

Pelit (Finland)Oct 5, 2013Payday 2 is an excellent co-op shooter - a vast improvement over the first one. [Sept 2013]
