    Battle against and purify echoes, powerful phantoms left behind by the deceased, using a unique battle system where every lost memory you collect is a different character to summon to your aid.     Pale Echoes manages to be a pleasant surprise. Not only does the story intrigue, it does so with an interesting battle system.

    For the short time it lasts, Pale Echoes has an interesting and creative battle system, a compelling story to tell, and an interesting world to explore.

    The battle system is clever and makes you think carefully about each attack and move you make. The story is very interesting and genuinely kept me entertained throughout. I liked the overall design of the worlds and characters and I would certainly recommend this game if you like old-fashioned JRPGs or a game that requires a bit of thought and patience.
