    Masterpiece. This game is so good it makes you want to play even after the credits rolls. So i finished the game on 100% and i am looking forward to the next one. Graphics are beautiful, gameplay is smooth, progression is rewarding and when the water came rushing in i was like holy cow this music is amazing.

    10/10 isn't a high enough score for this game... I created an account on MC to leave this review. Possibly the best game I've ever played. I discovered it through the soundtrack and had to play it. I don't normally play platformers so it was difficult but hugely rewarding.     beautiful looking game and fun to play and explore. Like a lot of platformers the bosses are time limited platforming, which is something I personally don't like. But pretty close to a perfect game.

    It lacks a lot of things like boss fights and has quite poor level design, so it is a game for it's fan.

    Great visuals. Fantastic gameplay and lovely music. Graphics are outstanding. Has little story but emotionally resonant. Platformers don't get better than this.

    This is probably the most beautiful and gorgeous 2d platfomer game I have ever seen,
    Great story with adorable characters,hands down fantastic animations,and an absolutely stunning graphics and atmosphere.The game is like an amazing cartoon movie,you can really feel the motion of the character.This is a game I recommend to all kind of gamers,just relax and enjoy the game.

    This is an awesome game.
    -The world is beautiful and immersive.
    -The abilities are unique from each other and all have more of a functional purpose for the gameplay than simply allowing you to get to a new area. -The progression is linear, but not so much, in that you will be: 1 given options of routes to take 2 rewarded for going back to old areas 3 capable of constantly exploring    This is an awesome game.
    -The world is beautiful and immersive.
    -The abilities are unique from each other and all have more of a functional purpose for the gameplay than simply allowing you to get to a new area.
    -The progression is linear, but not so much, in that you will be:
    1 given options of routes to take
    2 rewarded for going back to old areas
    3 capable of constantly exploring extra areas
    -The gameplay is fluid and plays out with a simple problem solving style that taps into your reflexes as the primary interface between you and the logical problems you are solving.
    -The game is somewhat challenging. I have only played it on hard but I get the feeling that even on easy you will not be carried through its content.

    Pretty solid in terms of all core design elements.

    WHAT TO CONSIDER BEFORE YOU BUY:
    The control system does not allow you to remap keys in game. (You may want to consider using something like AutoHotkey for this if using keyboard and mouse)

    Great gameplay, skills and abilities are pretty enjoyable, beautiful history and wonderful music. There is not a similar game, it's an unique and complete game. Very recommended.

    I was expecting it to be good, but I was not expecting it to be one of the best, if not the best platformer I have ever played. Visually it's absolutely breathtaking, music is fantastic, gameplay is fluid and fun, story can move your heart, the world is thoughtfully designed with lots of secrets and there is just the right amount of challenge to keep your blood pumping. There is not aI was expecting it to be good, but I was not expecting it to be one of the best, if not the best platformer I have ever played. Visually it's absolutely breathtaking, music is fantastic, gameplay is fluid and fun, story can move your heart, the world is thoughtfully designed with lots of secrets and there is just the right amount of challenge to keep your blood pumping.     This game is amazing. I tried hard to find flaws to the game but they pretty much rectified the slight issues the original version had (such as 21:9 support).

    To me, this is the perfect platformer. Its a gorgeous game. Everything from the backgrounds to the animation and the music is gorgeous and all fits together perfectly.     Beautiful. Great design and music, cute characters.
    Play if you have nerves of steel. I should have considered negative reviews before trying the game. To say that is pisses off is to say nothing.. You die like a hundred times on every screen and have to torture your gamepad over and over and over and f#$ing over again in an attempt to play a perfect sequence. Nope. Just.. nope.

    This game is amazing. The combination of the breathtaking visuals and the tight and engaging gameplay make it fantastic. If you want a little challenge this game will be perfect for you (also you can easily complete it 100% in 10-15 hours). I also should not forget to mention the amazing music, even if some soundtracks were repeated.

    This game is close to being a classic but in the end, for a casual gamer like myself, it completely misses the mark and ends up being extremely frustrating.

It is not a typical plat former and features a diverse range of game-play mechanics which keep you enthralled within the experience. Aesthetically, Ori excels as it has gorgeous and robust backdrops. The puzzles and levels in the game are brilliantlyAfter much trial and tribulation, upon completion it is suffice to say Ori and the Blind Forest is a challenging and equally beautiful game. It is not a typical plat former and features a diverse range of game-play mechanics which keep you enthralled within the experience. Aesthetically, Ori excels as it has gorgeous and robust backdrops. The puzzles and levels in the game are brilliantly challenging and feature great environments meaning there is never a dull moment. Being surrounded by such vivid imagery constantly throughout game play is a definitive plus for feeling compelled and having a desire to keep going. Every new area always feels new and fresh to play through. The story also adds to the experience and world of Ori as it an emotional one that adds to the tone of the game and makes it that much more of a wholesome experience to invest in. Lengthwise, Ori is around 8 hours but compelling enough and has much to explore making it ideal and never a repetitive experience. Ori and the Blind Forest is a challenging game that is worth playing for amazing visuals, compelling and fun game play, as well as featuring a beautiful story.… Expand

    Great game. I didn't think a platformer could be so engrossing on the storytelling level, but Ori pulled it off. Also loved the gameplay - smooth as butter.

    It's been aeaons since I played something so beautiful, it left me stunned for a long time.I liked the save system, eliminating frustration factor from difficulty. You spend "mana"points to create save points, where you respawn without loading. This makes multiple attempt to deadly parts smooth. This game throughout all the time makes you want to check what's behind the next corner.     8, because visuals and story is excellent. 4, because gameplay is really frustrating, making you die much much much times, and redo many ways you did yet before; some places are really very hard, the trick is to create a savepoint just there (you can create them as you want, you need only 1 light point you can gain around, if you're at 0).     Люблю такие игры, которые Super Metroid напоминают из детства, а тем более с такой реализацией в графическом плане. Жалко только, что подтормаживает на стареньком ноутбуке.

    really beautiful game with a great soundtrack. However, the gameplay was pretty unbearable in most of the "intense moments". I'm probably just really bad at video games, but most of the end of level sections left me feeling helpless. it was too easy to get trapped and die in some little nook, or the timing was off and Kuro would eat me 20 times in a row. Please work on this for future projects.

    Very amazing and beautiful game, beautiful story and adorable characters. I loved every minute of it. The endings of first and second parts were a little difficult and got somewhat frustrating, kind of wanted to smash my gamepad a couple times, but you overcome it! Highly recommend it!

    It's a lovely game... far and away the prettiest platformer I've seen; but I found the play too difficult to be enjoyable, even on the Easy mode. They need to allow saving between the more difficult jumps. That would make it doable for casual players.

    Took me 7 hours to beat and it was still too long. Probably the most disappointing and mediocre metroidvania I've ever played.

    i got 458 deaths and 92% completion on my first run through this game, it was awesome! I havent died that often or got as much challenge and satisfaction from a game in years (dark souls games aside, which if they'd had a save system like ori I would have enjoyed far more).
    This game is intense and beautiful and fun and satisfying.
    If anyone is reading this before buying, just prepare    i got 458 deaths and 92% completion on my first run through this game, it was awesome! I havent died that often or got as much challenge and satisfaction from a game in years (dark souls games aside, which if they'd had a save system like ori I would have enjoyed far more).
    This game is intense and beautiful and fun and satisfying.
    If anyone is reading this before buying, just prepare for a challenge and a bit of a learning curve to master the movement and abilities, and prepare to die, a lot, and you will have a blast.

    The only thing worth adding to everything that has been said, is that, as many modern platform games, the fact that the player doesn't die is balanced by some very tricky platforming parts.     Графика и музыка в этой игре просто невероятны, всё очень хорошо детализировано и талантливо преподнесено, после Child of Light - это единственный платформер, который смог меня настолько сильно затянуть и заинтересовать, а ведь я еще не прошел даже половины игры. Геймплей - очень динамичный и близок к хардкорному, но таковым не является, ничего прям-таки уж сверхъестественного я пока не заметил и вряд ли увижу, просто игра полна сюрпризов, к которым со временем привыкаешь. Карта невероятно большая и разнообразная, чем может похвастаться не любая игра, как по мне, так это одна из самых больших карт в платформерах за всю историю. Разработчики проделали невероятную работу и заслужили огромных оваций, слава богу, что все другие игроки это понимают, о чем говорят 95% положительных отзывов! Сюжет у игры хоть и далеко не оригинальный, но приподнесен просто замечательно!
    Минусов в игре я не обнаружил, разве что, парочка маленьких недочотов и багов, как, например, на скриншоте у меня в профиле, когда камень, который является ключом к продвижению вперед не двигался и вынудил начать прохождение сначала. В той эйфории, в которой я нахожусь от игры, я бы с удовольствием поставил свою первую десяточку, но только ради того, чтобы поставить самую большую оценку второй части этого шедевра, приберегу пожалуй баллы =)
    Игра стоит своих денег и даже больше! Ни капельки не пожалел, что купил ее и обязательно закончу в ближайшее время!

    Моя оценка: 98/100, но знайте, что я готов и десятку ставить, для этой игры не жалко!    … Expand

    Metridviana foda ! Tu sente o personagem se tornando mais forte em busca da mãe. A dificuldade em escapar de certos locais prestes a explodir( geralmente depois de vencer um Boss) dá aquele suadeira boa e gostosa de "UFA consegui".

    The most beautiful game I have ever seen, if not the most beautiful thing I have seen in my life. Aside from some minor 3rd party controller issues, clunky keyboard control, and maybe not the most balanced difficulty levels and lack of one actually easy difficulty level, this is pure masterpiece, so unique and so beautiful...

    While the additions don't change the game in any fundamental way, the overall experience is still as amazing as it was last year. If you haven't played Ori before, this Definitive Edition is a must buy.
