Jul 23, 2016Beautiful. Great design and music, cute characters.
Play if you have nerves of steel. I should have considered negative reviews before trying the game. To say that is pisses off is to say nothing.. You die like a hundred times on every screen and have to torture your gamepad over and over and over and f#$ing over again in an attempt to play a perfect sequence. Nope. Just.. nope. -

Apr 22, 2017really beautiful game with a great soundtrack. However, the gameplay was pretty unbearable in most of the "intense moments". I'm probably just really bad at video games, but most of the end of level sections left me feeling helpless. it was too easy to get trapped and die in some little nook, or the timing was off and Kuro would eat me 20 times in a row. Please work on this for future projects.

May 12, 2016It's a lovely game... far and away the prettiest platformer I've seen; but I found the play too difficult to be enjoyable, even on the Easy mode. They need to allow saving between the more difficult jumps. That would make it doable for casual players.

Apr 12, 2020Moon Studios really improved the game by only adding 2 more skills and fast travel points. MASTERPIECE.

Aug 21, 2020A beautiful but very frustrating game where mechanics are hard to discover and too many moments depend on perfect displays of agility with the punishment for failure being playing the same segment twenty times (or more depending on your skills)

Oct 1, 2019Ori and the Blind Forest is still an exceptional game, it handles beautifully and the audio/visual presentation is simply stunning.

PC PowerPlayJul 6, 2016Beautiful, whimsical, difficult and brutal, Ori and the Blind Forest is a thoroughly engrossing platforming experience. [Issue#252, p.]

May 11, 2016While the additions don't change the game in any fundamental way, the overall experience is still as amazing as it was last year. If you haven't played Ori before, this Definitive Edition is a must buy.
