Mar 29, 2020This game was hyped up too much, it's nothing like it promised to be.
But! it has alot! to do, Explore planets, Collect things.. Nevermind.
But you've got a galaxy to explore, the updates are making things better.
Final Verdict : 5.2
Not recommended by me. -

Jun 6, 2022This game is better than it was a few years ago, the negative reviews are mostly from people at launch.

Aug 15, 2016If those Score 0 reviews from anger people can be consider as acceptable objective and fair , then I guess a Score 10 review from people who are happy with the game(like me ) is also acceptable objective and fair

Oct 8, 2022The game had redeemed itself through updates and patches over the last 6 years, and was actually fun and worth playing.
Then patch 4.0 happened. -

Aug 14, 20168 hours in, having an awesome time. If you like exploring and collecting, this game is for you. Emphasis is on exploration and discovery, not on realistic physics. I bought this game for the visual style alone, its great.

Aug 13, 2016I played for mote tha 19 hours in the game on pc and 17 hours on ps4 and I have seen a HUGE difference between the graphics on pc and ps4. I have not see any crashes that some others have. I am running the game between 45-60 at ultra graphics with a old cpu (Q8400). I recommend this game to anyone that love space , exploration and survival. I just can't stop playing :D
10/10 on PC and on ps4 -

Aug 15, 2016This is the game with great idea, but quite bad implementation at the launch. I strongly believe, that you can polish implementation, and if the idea's great - the game will look very good at the end.
But even with the initial poor implementation, it still allows you to feel space exploration, admire some really astonishing views, and find your own path in the universe -

Aug 15, 2016The game sucks you in. Hours will fly by as you get lost in space and the planets, gathering resources, learning about different alien civilizations, new species, upgrading weapons and ship, etc No problems running on my PC although it is well spec'd, I ran into a couple bugs but nothing major. Very fun and addictive game. Lots of potential.

Aug 30, 2017This game is bad. Really, really bad. It was bad at launch and it is still bad at version 1.34. Still soulless, still without a puprose, still full of bugs and glitches. They attempted to gain some good publicity recently with the Atlas Rises patch, but it is all a charade. Don't buy.

Pelit (Finland)Oct 11, 2016No Man's Sky breaks the record in falling short of the hype – which is an incredible achievement in the category of super ambitious space games. The huge universe is a repetitive, lifeless and meaningless place, no amount of random generated creatures can change that. The most unforgivable fail is making the spaceship such a pain to fly, which makes exploring the vast universe simply a chore. However, at its best the game is epic and many of the issues should be easy to fix, so this might not be the end of the journey after all. [Sept 2016]

PC PowerPlayOct 2, 2016It's partially broken, shallow, repetitive and aimless, but hang me, I still kind of love it. [Issue#255, p.56]

Edge MagazineSep 27, 2016While some poorly designed systems and mechanics chip away at your patience, the feeling of flying seamlessly from space down to a peninsula you spotted from orbit never fails to enthrall. [Nov 2016, p.106]
