Dec 10, 2025If you’re into Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord, then War Sails is a no-brainer purchase.
-
Nov 30, 2025War Sails opens a new chapter in our journey with Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. With its nautical focus, the update transforms the game and enhances its potential for future development. Not only does it offer a refreshing experience for returning players, but it also has the potential to attract new players to the Mount & Blade series.

Dec 8, 2025Finally, there's the option to sail the seas. Just watch out for pirates! The new naval story is fun, but short, but it adds variety to the original campaign. The naval battles are great. It's a shame, though, that they can't be inserted into a previously played campaign - you have to start a new one.
-
Dec 8, 2025Bannerlord confirms its status as the benchmark in medieval simulation. War Sails broadens its horizons without betraying its identity. The experience gains in scope and depth, driven by a renewed sense of coherence. An essential return for anyone looking for a game combining strategy, action, and total freedom.

Dec 19, 2025Ambitious DLC with a great atmosphere and strong ideas, but noticeable weaknesses in its AI.
-
Dec 2, 2025Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord - War Sails adds surprisingly little of real substance. With the Nords in such a weak state in the current build, naval battles amount to little more than pirate-hunting, leaving the whole expansion feeling rather flavorless.
