Jun 7, 2016I think, it's exactly what the fans waited for in the last 8 years. Who likes moving in an open world and can dispense with a long epic story and a huge amount of side quests will absorb this game in every way and will have lots of fun with it.

Jun 7, 2016As a fan of the original, this game delivers in every aspect. Story is interesting, gameplay is fun, the city looks spectacular, and there are plenty things to do.

Jun 7, 2016This game is an 8 atleast, If you love the first this will be no exception. The graphics look much better with hyper graphics, just turn off the runner vision and this game is way better than what most people played on the beta. The only bad points is the AI, and the drug adict arquitecture style of the city has.

Aug 18, 2016This game is a solid 7, an 8 if you're a ME fan. Please read actual reviews and not these crybabies whom gave the game 0 because its not first game's remake.

Nov 9, 2017Muy buen juego, me lleva gustando mirror's edge desde la primera entrega y creo que esta secuela está a la altura, lo unico malo que le veo es la forma de guiarte hasta el objetivo, que no deja explorar bien el mapa.

Jan 23, 2022game is great, running in open world beating Kruger sec and trying start a revelation. Story really ended in first game and they wanted make a series about and they change the story like a revelation run. it's great for me i love open world, carry cargo, find records and side missions this game is made for me.

Aug 2, 2021One oh the most underrated games ever!) Yeah, I agree with people that storyline was not good, but this game didn't end & we have to waiting for new Mirror's Edge :)
-
Jan 31, 2022Fantastic game, incredible underrated. Stunning visuals, great soundtrack, awesome combat. Wish the game had more to offer but otherwise I'd say it's a superior game to the first one

Sep 24, 2020May not be as linear as the first mirror's edge but is still quite the masterpiece!
Great story and visuals. -

Jun 10, 2016Story is the only downside of this game. ME1 was master piece in this... but all in all, this game has excellent graphic, running and parkour is much better than in ME1, open world and side missions and light RPG gameplay are perfect bonuses. Oh and the city is too much futuristic to my taste. ME1 was not such sci-fi as this one. 9/10

Games Master UKAug 21, 2016A grander production, but the gorgeous open world does Catalyst's freerunning no favours. [Aug 2016, p.66]
-
CD-ActionAug 21, 2016Catalyst is a triumph of form over substance. At first the city looks huge, shiny and perfect but soon turns out to be just a lifeless, empty mockup, where you distinguish the districts mainly by background colors. The character development system feels artificial and redundant. The story and characters are so shallow and badly presented that I quickly lost any interest in them and focused on what the game does quite well – on parkour. [08/2016, p.60]
-
PC PowerPlayAug 18, 2016The movement in Mirror's Edge: Catalyst is still strong, but the unlikeable characters and clunky combat get in the way of complete enjoyment. [Issue#253, p.56]
