Jan 31, 2022Fantastic game, incredible underrated. Stunning visuals, great soundtrack, awesome combat. Wish the game had more to offer but otherwise I'd say it's a superior game to the first one

Jan 23, 2022game is great, running in open world beating Kruger sec and trying start a revelation. Story really ended in first game and they wanted make a series about and they change the story like a revelation run. it's great for me i love open world, carry cargo, find records and side missions this game is made for me.

Aug 2, 2021One oh the most underrated games ever!) Yeah, I agree with people that storyline was not good, but this game didn't end & we have to waiting for new Mirror's Edge :)

Feb 8, 2021It is very sad that this game did not become popular. I would love to play the sequel. I really liked the main character. And the gameplay is pretty enjoyable for me. It's a pity, however, that the storyline is short.

Jan 1, 2021The overall user score for this game is really unfair. As a fan of first Mirror's Edge I find this one really great. Maybe there are too many side, stupid missions & there should be no fighting in this game at all but overall atmosphere and experience is fine.

Nov 11, 2017My hopes on this game was pretty big. But what we got...Gameplay same as in the first game, but now in open world. Story is a bit better, than in first game but not enough to good. City looks awesome, and graphics too, but AI's logic is stupid. Music is awesome and...almost all side quests is boring. Just run, run and run...that is all...

Nov 9, 2017Muy buen juego, me lleva gustando mirror's edge desde la primera entrega y creo que esta secuela está a la altura, lo unico malo que le veo es la forma de guiarte hasta el objetivo, que no deja explorar bien el mapa.

Games Master UKAug 21, 2016A grander production, but the gorgeous open world does Catalyst's freerunning no favours. [Aug 2016, p.66]
-
CD-ActionAug 21, 2016Catalyst is a triumph of form over substance. At first the city looks huge, shiny and perfect but soon turns out to be just a lifeless, empty mockup, where you distinguish the districts mainly by background colors. The character development system feels artificial and redundant. The story and characters are so shallow and badly presented that I quickly lost any interest in them and focused on what the game does quite well – on parkour. [08/2016, p.60]
-
PC PowerPlayAug 18, 2016The movement in Mirror's Edge: Catalyst is still strong, but the unlikeable characters and clunky combat get in the way of complete enjoyment. [Issue#253, p.56]
