Jun 10, 2017My expectations was very high and this game wasn't good enough.Story and character development was extremely bad we rarely have some scenes and thats it.Open world is also trash we have open world for what anyway.Combat might not be important thing for this concept but it was still very bad.
Best thing about game is fun gameplay and sadly thats it imo -

Dec 10, 2016+ fun gameplay, traversal is very fluid and smooth
+ game looks beautiful
+ soundtrack
- sjw garbage story and characters
- lifeless (and totally unnecessary) open world
- boring combat (altho is it optional for most of the time, so it's not a big deal anyway) -

Jun 10, 2016I expect more. Similar to the first part , but with DLS and high graphics. Ardent fan is worth a try . The plot is simple, brief. For 7 years, it was possible to do much better.

Jun 20, 2016First of all, please remember to read the positive reviews here - they contain points that I completely agree with. The game is overall great.
So why do I give it a mediocre to bad score? The game contains impressively bad cutscenes. We are talking -
Jun 28, 2016This game is okay do not listen to user reviews its have a good story. The gameplay is fine and the parkour Is pretty cool aside from that it looks great although the characters are poor and bad in any cut scene. So overall should you buy it maybe.

Jun 14, 2021Крутой симулятор курьера по крышам. Если вы любите скорость и хайтек дизайн то вам сюда. Хотя вторая часть по хуже первой

Jul 1, 2020Update. The game wasn't that bad. Level design was good. Story is just fine, nothing special. But short and idea of reboot isn't great. World is completely dead. I'd say 7.4/10.

Feb 23, 2018The greatest thing about Mirror's Edge Catalyst is its ability to convey some satisfying sense of momentum into a visually marvelous world. Everything else, alas, is just mediocrity.

Jan 18, 2019After 8 years of waiting for a new game in the series, It's finally here. Mirror's Edge Catalyst boasts a big and interesting map with multiple different areas and impressive level design. The map is filled with activities and side missions as well as different objectives, such as hackable billboards and user created races.
The gameplay is well made and easy to learn and difficult to -

Oct 31, 2016From its originally linear and static gameplay to an open-world free running game with character development, Mirror's Edge Catalyst is a definitely fascinating improvement for the Mirror's Edge franchise. While there are still noticeable flaws and shortcomings, I can't say I didn't enjoy this experience.

Games Master UKAug 21, 2016A grander production, but the gorgeous open world does Catalyst's freerunning no favours. [Aug 2016, p.66]
-
CD-ActionAug 21, 2016Catalyst is a triumph of form over substance. At first the city looks huge, shiny and perfect but soon turns out to be just a lifeless, empty mockup, where you distinguish the districts mainly by background colors. The character development system feels artificial and redundant. The story and characters are so shallow and badly presented that I quickly lost any interest in them and focused on what the game does quite well – on parkour. [08/2016, p.60]

PC PowerPlayAug 18, 2016The movement in Mirror's Edge: Catalyst is still strong, but the unlikeable characters and clunky combat get in the way of complete enjoyment. [Issue#253, p.56]
