Apr 26, 2021The cringe levels for this woke garbage is over 9000. From the start to the very last sentence.
Mostly vomit vision game play without any balance.
The most boring map design in any AAA game ever.
Save your money. -
Jan 21, 2021the take the original game and poop on it.
You don't want to fight, you need to and the combat suck.
The world map is only annoing.
The level design suck.
Vissually is just confusing.
Some part are so frustrating(not difficoult, just frustrating) that is seems they don't test the game. -
Jan 12, 2021If I was looking for a game that has little or no story and just run run run,I could just play Mario.

Oct 6, 2018I find it ironic that a game which is about the future where evil corporations enslave people was so badly ruined by a big corporation. Mirror's Edge Catalyst could be so immersive and addictive, it has so much potential, but a stupid combat which is sometimes ridiculously easy, sometimes ridiculously hard and a bunch of frustrating controls have ruined it. EA failed to deliver a fun game. Again.

Jan 20, 2018What a big mistake this game is
the game a lot of problems for example bugs, glitches, uninterested characters, bad story, bad ending
boring side quests, boring open world, boring main missions, cringe dialog and many more
its so sad that the first one is way better the this i wished this would ve been better
but its what a bad squeal is gonna be. -

Sep 18, 2016It seemed like it was going to be fun, but the gameplay has god awful unfixable stuttering so I refunded it. It isn't the only EA/DICE game with this problem. Battlefield 4 and Hardline stutter too. I guess my system doesn't like DICE games.

Jul 10, 2016Finished the game (all main & side quests / not all runs) in about 7 hours. Damn short.
It's also very repetitive. The story is bad, predictable af...

Games Master UKAug 21, 2016A grander production, but the gorgeous open world does Catalyst's freerunning no favours. [Aug 2016, p.66]
-
CD-ActionAug 21, 2016Catalyst is a triumph of form over substance. At first the city looks huge, shiny and perfect but soon turns out to be just a lifeless, empty mockup, where you distinguish the districts mainly by background colors. The character development system feels artificial and redundant. The story and characters are so shallow and badly presented that I quickly lost any interest in them and focused on what the game does quite well – on parkour. [08/2016, p.60]

PC PowerPlayAug 18, 2016The movement in Mirror's Edge: Catalyst is still strong, but the unlikeable characters and clunky combat get in the way of complete enjoyment. [Issue#253, p.56]
