    Метро 2033 - взяла за основу книгу Дмитрия Глуховского с одноимённым названием
    4А геймс смогли прекрасно воссоздать мир Дмитрия. Атмосфера пробирает до мурашек, только человек поживший в постсоветской стране найдет в игре что, то до боли знакомое. Также немаловажную роль в атмосфере играет саундтрек игры. В метро присутствует шедевральный саунд(причем во всех трех частях) но играет он    Метро 2033 - взяла за основу книгу Дмитрия Глуховского с одноимённым названием

Также немаловажную роль в атмосфере играет саундтрек игры. В метро присутствует шедевральный саунд(причем во всех трех частях) но играет он только в конце игры или в главном меню :(
    Персонажи очень хорошо прописаны, всех помню поименно, каждый чем-то запомнился будь то Ульман со своими шуточками, или Бурбон со своей легендарной фразой про желтый снег :)
    ИИ в игре откровенно тупенький, челики не видят тебя вплотную, не слышат какие-то твои шумные действия буквально у них под носом. Проблем в этом плане не было только с библиотекарями))) уж эти гандончики очень внимательные) но это простительно, ведь сюжет просто невероятный, вся эта история с черными, как Артем решает судьбу всех оставшихся людей в метро просто 10 на 10. Жаль только разрабы не смогли передать то состояние Артема после удара ракетам по ботаническому саду, то полное моральное опустошение как в конце книги. Но вряд ли это получилось бы передать, ведь в игре Артем не проронил ни слова...
    В общем игра шедевр, 9 библиотекарей из 10    … Expand

The game crushes often and fails to launch even more often. Be ready to restart a level because npcs got stuck in a pipe and you cant kill it to advance further.     I think if you want a true experience of this title buy all the three books and read them. Priceless entertainment as a post-apocalyptic writing.

    The game itself tries to capture the book as best as it could, but I think an FPS game can never fully succeed it.     As a post-apocalyptic FPS this is a good game, but it fails to truly capture all the great depths of the books. The atmosphere is quite alright, the graphics are great, the sounds/voices also, the controls are perfectly fine.
    There are some bugs, yeah, as usual with the majority of PC games, no matter how many patches were released...
    But again, the book screams for RPG adaptation.    … Expand

    The gameplay and atmosphere are top notch, but the audio side, especially the voice acting is quite underwhelming, when there are only like 5 voice actors with made-up accents voice acting every character in the game. Maybe the developers should have just used Russian voice actors with added English subtitles.

    Great game but what is UP with the frigging airfilters? What are these filters supposed to filter anyway? radiation?? (lol) Dust? (I see no dust in the frigging AIR) so WHY am I always suffocatingggg??

    Metro 2033 Redux was a great game. I loved the atmosphere... it is a great shooter with a very good graphic. The Story is, for a shooter, good.
    The only thinks i don´t like where the bugs. Sometimes the game starts without sound, sometimes it didn´t start, sometimes the movement is delayed. All these bugs where away after restart the game (Its the only game which make trouble, and much    Metro 2033 Redux was a great game.     Metro 2033 redux is not just one of those "HD ports" that everyone does, it's the whole game in a new engine, meaning that the graphics are better, there are more guns and general improvements. I bought this game just to give me an excuse to play it again and it was great, I even played last light afterwards.

    Nice FPS game with awesome graphics. Atmosphere is really good and story is original and unpredictable. The design of monsters is interesting. The major drawback of this game is that some shootings are really boring and uselessly prolonged. fairly well done remake

Из минусов-сомнительная идея с фильтрами, так как могут закончиться неожиданно; идиотский и темный момент в библиотеке и пара мелких недостатков. Из плюсов- отличная графика; атмосфера; стрелять приятно и нить повествования хорошо сбалансирована (после нескольких часовДостаточно атмосферный shooter.     Finally finished this game (actually played after Last Light) What can I say? Well, it is worse than the sequel for sure. Atmosphere: amazing Lore and the world:very good gunplay:great But I did not like the ending and all missions leading to the ending (i.e. last 3 missions).     Немного хуже Metro: Last light и менее атмосферная. Практически весь геймплей повязан на одном и том же процессе. Ближе к концу игры становится слишком скучно.

    The story is incredibly deep and well-written, and the atmosphere and realism are top-notch. You won't find many gimmicks in this game like you will in other games. It's hard to describe the game because it's one of those games that you have to experience for yourself to understand how great it is.

    The game comes with various difficulties and playstyles for you to fine-tune your experience. I personally played on Survivor Mode at Normal difficulty, but I think you can increase the realism further by playing on a harder difficulty.

    The game easily deserves at least an 8, which is only weighed down by the ever-so-slightly-simplified gameplay, somewhat short length, and some glitches here and there. It's definitely a game all shooter fans should add to their repertoire.    … Expand

    Metro 2033 Redux is a good game: sound and visuals are great and they create amazing atmosphere, interesting mix of Fallout and Stalker. Gunplay is satisfying and exploration is as good as it can be in a strictly linear game.
    On the other hand, the game has way too many bugs for something that has word Redux in its name and stealth mechanics are not very good.

    I am late to the Metro games, so going back to an older title can sometimes have weird consequences.
    I suspect the game was designed for a console with how the gunplay and certain menus work.

    Gameplay is still solid, and I love the supernatural vibes the game gives off. If nothing else this game certainly made me pick up the novel which is a fun read!

    A good, terrifying game. The Redux version of 2033 fixed most of the little, annoying bugs of the initial game while keeping what made Metro so famous.

    The survivor horror gameplay on this game is very good, the mask mechanics and the dark obscure atmosphere are very unique. However the weak story and cringe voice acting keeps me from giving this game a 10.

    I have only played the redux version and i can say that it looks really good. The atmosphere is creepy and apocalyptic and it feels like you're in the game yourself. The particle effects and the effects on the gasmask from frost to blood really adds to the game.

    Pra um jogo de 2010, ele é ótimo. A versão redux tava rodando muito bem, mantendo 120fps com os gráficos no máximo na RTX 2060 e ryzen 1600. A historia foi quase nula pra mim, visto que um personagem calado é entediante, não houve nenhum personagem que chamasse a atenção e a lore do jogo só é mesmo desenvolvida pelos documentos que você tende achar ao redor do game - e estão em inglês.Pra um jogo de 2010, ele é ótimo. It reminds me a lot of bioshock in the sense that if you don't pay attention to the dialogue or collectibles you can't understand the story. An undesired lack of tutorial makes you google every tiny bit about the game. Lack of variety on the enemy type.     Definitely a great game! Great setting and atmosphere and good story. There is some minor problems though. There's some issues with the dialogue volumes; when you walk in a crowded space everyone just starts talking at the same time with the same volume and it becomes really annoying in the first hours of the game. Story is great. Graphics is more than nice (in opposition to the optimalization), but music... Graphics is more than nice (in opposition to the optimalization), but music...     Good parts:
    - Atmosphere - dark and claustrophobic, hella engaging and a bit scary
    - Story - a compelling journey with a bit too much of convenient saviors and accidents for our guy
    - Characters - alive and worthy of your sympathy, although there are literally no female characters in the game, which seems odd since they are definitely alive in the metro, yet not one of them plays a somewhat significant role? Huh?
    - The gameplay is linear, but good

    Bad parts:
    - Some of the enemies are annoying to fight
    - Sometimes something bugs out
    - The "Bad Guys were not actually bad they were just trying to communicate" twist is completely unearned since they were straight-up killing people ??? so how am I supposed to feel sympathetic for them all of a sudden?

    Overall go for the game if you are not scared of a somewhat dated graphics and you will get a great story and a world to love. Cheers.    … Expand

    Metro: 2033 Redux es la mejora del Metro Original, y vaya que si se nota. Si eres detallista verás como se han añadido nuevos efectos, más y mejores telarañas, mejores texturas, y aditamentos varios. No le otorgo mayor nota porque no tiene tanto mérito como cuando se publicó Metro 2033 en 2010.

    The gameplay was linear, but there were stuff miss. A great game with a very amazing post-apocalyptic atmosphere.
    Although it vas very bright, so the flashlight lost its usage.

    Very easy going, super immersive, fun first person shooter. The game holds your hand, but there is still a lot of stuff you can miss, including an alternate ending!

    The world and the story pull you in harder than almost any other game, meanwhile the gameplay and content makes sure you enjoy the experience and feel in tune with the plot. A true must-play.

    Короткая и насыщенная первая часть из трилогии игр "Метро" до сих пор смотрится впечатляюще. Понравилось, что в игре не нужно бегать туда-сюда и тратить время на поиск нужного пути.

    Enjoyed the game, it's post apocaliptic feel could be a bit longer for my taste or not so linear. This game needs a bit more the feel of the older game forgot the name in chernobyl where we could go where we want. The game didn't felt so linear like this one altrought it had same wibe.

    On PC, there is no reason to have this because we already have the full graphics the consoles didn't get, and even though it adds seamless transitions through missions and new places to go, I don't want to sacrifice the stylization of the game because of how out of place everything looks in the redux. However, if PC is not available, by all means buy it on next gen.

    Was a big fan of Metro Exodus so thought I may as well come back and experience where it all began. Game still holds up in 2022 and is a really enjoyable linear shooter.

The action itself was fun, don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed the firefights; upgrading various weapons; and managing air on the surface. My favourite level was the Ghosts level as it had the closest ambience to the novel. I didn’t enjoy the level with the Fourth Reich mainly because the level design felt too maze like. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the Library level because of the way the Librarian AI was designed. You are supposed to stop and stare them in the eye for them to not attack you and sometimes this worked but other times it didn’t work at all. When it worked it was a good tense level but that wasn’t the case often enough. The graphics were well done overall. The clothing; cobwebs; and animals were great. The object detail; fire; and facial detail was decent but the hair was pretty poor. The game also had great detail on your gas mask such as bugs crawling around it or it getting a bit foggy with sweat. I wish the game had a listing of your current objective. It gives you a compass telling you where to go but no listing of what to do once there. Sometimes this is obvious but other times it would have been helpful. I did like how the game allows you to customize what kind of experience you want by choosing not only your difficulty level but also giving you the option of the Spartan style of play which means less resource management.

    I tried to play on Linux but the Linux version was broken beyond use for me. The game was missing various options in the menu such as tessellation; as well as it ran at 30 FPS or below regardless of graphical detail selected. I tried on two separate systems and had the same result. I ended up playing the game using Valve’s Proton. This is how I know that the options menu lacked several options. Even on the Windows version there some issues such as V-Sync limiting your FPS to 60 instead of recognizing higher refresh rate monitors. Alt-tab worked on Windows but not on the Linux version. You can pause cut scenes but not skip them. You also have to wait during the intro videos to be able to skip them, you can’t do so right away even if you have already been playing the game a while. You can’t change the game difficulty after starting the game. The game saves at checkpoints and there is only one save slot. The performance on the Windows version was great. There were a couple glitches I encountered such as enemies clipping in doors as well as one occasion where I had defeated all the enemies in a room but my AI comrades wouldn’t advance any further making me unable to progress. I had to reload the checkpoint; clear the room again and then they moved normally. On the Windows version the game had 5 SSAA settings; 2 AF settings; a V-Sync toggle and 3 other graphics options.

    There was a good game here that I enjoyed but there were several ways it could have improved. The Linux version needs a lot of work for one. There is no excuse why Linux users lack the same options as Windows and even on the Windows version things like V-Sync capping your frame rate to 60 FPS is unacceptable. I read the novel right before playing the game and I have to say that while I prefer the novel’s atmosphere and story more the game is fine in it’s own right. I finished my play through on the normal difficulty of Spartan mode in 6 hours and 52 minutes. I would say the current price of $21.99 CAD is fair but that’s about the top end I would pay for it.

    Never played the original so I cannot compare, however I enjoyed this game.
    Downside: it was very short (7 hours) and there were very few enemies in total.
    Upside: The graphics were good, the story was great, I even remember the characters name after finishing the game.
    Verdict: Worth playing.

Когда я впервые бродил среди этих людей, занятых своими делами, болтающих о том о сём, я очень сильно погружался в здешнюю атмосферу. К сожалению, это чувство ближе к концу игры ослабевало, но тем не менее продолжало присутствовать. Вообще первые 30 минут игры для меня были каким-то откровением, я пророчил игре статус шедевра, но по итогу могу сказать, что я испытал умеренные и приятные чувства.

The finishing sequence is also the only thing not fitting the whole setting.

    7/10 because i experienced some bugs in the game. If i would not have had bugs then a solid 8/10 or even 9/10. This is a story driven atmospheric slow paced sneaky shooter. In a way if brings the mind to half life 2 even if it cant measure up to it fully. Characters are well done but a bit quickly discarded. But it makes sense since you are sneaking around in the subway tunnels of Moscow.

    Not the best first person shooter, horror or story driven game you will ever play but it is a very good first person shooter, horror and story driven game that will keep you engrossed and on the edge of your seat throughout apart from when it has you jumping out of it. Every moment in the metro feels like a genuine fight for survival. Its a game that is well worth your time.

    Positive are the graphics, even if you play the game in 2020 its okay.
    What could be improved are the gun sounds.
    The movement of the enemies are definitely bad, also some quests are not very intuitive.

    Good remaster of the classic game that has problems to stay as good as it was with the time. The story is bad but this is what Fallout wished to be in their most dark moments. Worth a play overall, it's short and the sequels are much better.

I did enjoy my time battling through the metro and finding the collectibles littered throughout the game. However, at the same time, I couldn't help but feel like the game didn't try to allow you to feel the challenges of living in the metro for 20 years. You are only allowed a small glimpse into the living conditions of the inhabitants of the Moscow metro and that for me was a big letdown.

    Most of the game is about delivering the dog tags of a fallen Spartan and hurting down D6. Along the way, you'll face everything from Communists and Nazis to mutated rat-looking creatures big enough to eat a full grown man.

    The levels themselves are fairly basic. So long as you see something to kill odds are good that's the way to go to move to the next area. By the time I nuked the Dark Ones I didn't feel like I had saved the Metro from the Dark Ones namely because they didn't really matter until near the very end of the game. I mostly played this so I could say I beat all the games thus far and while I did have fun with the game it wasn't a must play for me.    … Expand

    Gunplay/Stealth

    -Plays well on PC. No issues but nothing out of the ordinary. Standard.

    -AI is standard and the Nosalis are bland for me.

    -Stealth is the best way to play this game but it is a bit clunky.

    Exploration

    -Linear style but you can approach stealthily or guns blazing. Again very standard.

    -I read lots about the game's atmospheric quality. But honestly it didn't resonate with me that much. If the post-apocalyptic vibe is your thing then for sure you will appreciate the game's atmosphere. Graphically and in terms of the visual tone I found it very bland looking. The game's colour palette is very dark and grim and honestly kind of ugly. Obviously, I understand the look they were going for as it is set in a post-apocalyptic world but even then the environments lack flavour.

    Narrative

    -I don't think the story is bad per se, nor do I think it is told poorly. It is just very average in terms of story telling. I understand that it has been inspired by the books and borrows some elements from it however it doesn't tell the story in a special way or anything. I think the cast is hit or miss.

    -Artyom's character has no development and no depth. He is a mute really and you can learn more about him by picking up notes in the game world. There is little to no emotional connection built with him. No reason to care for and about him.

    -The supernatural elements just didn't fit this game. I felt it was very out of place. I found it really sill to be honest. Even the character model/designs were really silly and they remind me of those gooey alien baby toys.

    Conclusion

    Overall, I think this game is highly rated by those who are fans of the post-apocalyptic genre. Even though I do not think this is a bad game by any means I do not think it is worthy of the lofty praises. It is a slow paced FPS shooter set in a particular environment.    … Expand

In one point I actually thought that my game broke, while in fact I had to burn web to keep going (At that point I didn't even know that I have a lighter). However with my new system (Ryzen 9 5900xI played this game before on my old system with medium graphic settings. I will try to fix it in the near future, but the fact that a lot of people having trouble even getting the game to run, made me give a rating of "mixed". Really would love to play this game again.     One of the most atmospheric and immersive first person shooters of recent years becomes even better, by enriching its gameplay, normalizing its performance and enhancing its graphics, with the use of the latest 4A engine features. Its main disadvantage is the discontinuation of price discount for those who already own the original Metro 2033 upon official release.
