    This is what giant robot sim games should be measured against. Excellent joystick support, using the mouse to target the hit locations at the same time as well, actually falling over if you take too much damage all at once, salvage.... the list goes on and on.

    The music fits the game nicely, and in terms of BattleTech universe history, places you in one of the more important battles in the series. The only negatives I think there are:

    calling in the mobile construction vehicles to repair and rearm during a mission
    multiplayer turning into an artillery sniping match on several maps
    not being able to salvage and pilot vehicles without any mods.

    The expansions are well worth checking out, too.    … Expand
