    Madden 19 looks fantastic on PC. The bump in resolution, frame rate and post-processing effects makes for a smoother and more visually striking experience. More than ever, Madden 19 on PC looks at first blush like live television footage.

    There are ideas to celebrate, then, but this isn’t an entry that particularly excites or builds upon what we’ve already seen. If you love the NFL then you’re going to play this because of the lack of competition, but EA Sports needs to seriously think about how it’s going to evolve its Madden formula over the coming years. We can’t keep giving it the benefit of the doubt forever.

    Visually pretty, shallow in depth.
    PC version has more bugs than a 2 week old dead carcass.

    I am certain it was not ready for release, yet they released it anyway.
    Beta testers told them it was not ready..........
    I went to the EA site to try and find a fix for some of the bugs, what I found was overzealous moderates deleting any post that did not paint this pile of trash as anything but exceptional.

    I hadn't played Madden in nearly 10 years on PC and was excited to finally try the game out again on my preferred platform, with my franchise,I hadn't played Madden in nearly 10 years on PC and was excited to finally try the game out again on my preferred platform, with my franchise, the New York Jets, and their new wunderkind quarterback Sam Darnold. It's a great time to buy the game, I figured!

    And I promptly wished there was a refund option on Amazon the second I started playing it.

    If you want a game locked at an awful framerate (running at around 30 while the framerate ticker mysteriously was reading around 90 fps for me) and feeling completely strangled with an awful, uneditably narrow field of view, then buy this game. It looks no different from the game I played literally 10 years ago. I'm really not exaggerating here; this looks like Madden '08 on PC with updated menus and rosters. They've done nearly nothing to the engine, the graphics look exactly the same. It plays exactly the same. The only noticeable difference is that the menus are much more difficult to navigate. It does not take advantage of PC hardware whatsoever, which is a joke because games like the Fifa series look stunning on PC.

    Now I know what everyone was complaining about when they called each new year of Madden a "glorified roster update". What a ridiculous waste of money it was to purchase this. **** EA and **** this stale franchise. I'm so disappointed.    … Full Review »

    Every year sports games are getting worse and worse since 2013 or heck back in 2006 but it got better since then but in 8th gen consoles plz don't buy sports games from EA.    … Full Review »
