This is my first Madden ever, so I have no problem with these things like "its only update of roster and graphic". I like it, it looks awesome in my monitor, animations are beautiful but some glitches are funny. Gameplay is harder than I think but I hope it's about habit. Look forward to another patch, some things need to fix it. But I still like it.

Ignore the noise. Madden 19 on PC is leaps and bounds better than Madden 08 PC in every way I can think of. 19 on PC is the same version of the game as Xbox and PS4, but with faster loading times and moderately better graphics than the "next-gen consoles." It plays smoothly at 4K60 maxed out and even on my old rig with a 5 year old mid-tier GTX 660Ti 3GB, it plays very well with everythingIgnore the noise. There are even mods already being worked on in the first week of official release. In regards to gameplay, this is easily the best it's been since Madden 2004. If you want to nitpick minor clipping in super-slow-mo instant replay, and build a YouTube channel off that, then go for it. But at speed, live, this game excites far, far more than it disappoints.

If you have stutter, update your driver and make sure to switch it to DX11 in the settings menu.

Finally, after all the petitions i have signed and the many attempts to reach EA and request Madden to be on PC here we are.

Out the gate EA had a few issues (on all platforms) with the logic of the players in the game. watch early YouTube videos and you can see week one guys not picking up fumbles and other issues. This has since been patched...i believe reviews should give a few weeks

This has since been patched...i believe reviews should give a few weeks before leaving a poor rating based on launch bugs, it is difficult to launch a game with no bugs at all.

So i will hit this in a few sections. First up Longshot.

Longshot Homecoming was an amazing story. It felt like Friday night lights meets Draft Day in a way. It was so intriguing to me i did not put the controller down until i reached the end of the story (which you can continue) Yes it is a short experience, its not going to take 20 hours, But it is a great experience that i will play again.

    Franchise,

Franchise mode is more than this. They bundled 'superstar' (myplayer), season, and franchise into one section here. You can create a coach or play as a pre-existing coach, you can create a player with a slight backstory, you can also be the owner. Plenty of options exist so you can model the franchise to your liking.

Once you get started everything that you need/want is there. However, there are a few cons. Trading can be too easy once you figure out the system in place, and more control over player contracts would be nice. Overall the layout is very user friendly compared to past years.

    Gameplay,

They have changed a lot in my opinion, animations are more realistic, blocking is more realistic, defenders pathing to the ball carrier are better. its not perfect but wow things have changed. Rushing can be a lot harder if you do not adjust to these changes.

    PC performance.

I have read people having issues with performance, for some reason EA default settings had the game running with vsync off and at 4k resolution. which surprising ran great on my pc however i did get screen tearing. I clicked one button and i no longer have any screen tearing (i turned vsync on) i also lowered the resolution to 1440p in order to get what i believe a 60fps experience. I have a very middle road pc.

    Fx-8300 CPU
    R9-380 GPU
    16gbs Ram
    SSD

The game runs smooth....very smooth in fact.

I do not play online so i cannot review the MUT or the micro-transactions that are attached to that. but to leave a 0 review based on this is utterly ridiculous in my opinion. You have a FULL game in the franchise mode and story, lets not be overly greedy.

However, if you are only here for the online style game play then this review is not for you. I added 1 point to my score due to the blatant emotional reviews that are already here. Overall i would say this game is deserving of a 85 out of 100 and one of the best maddens of late.

To add, alot of the issues mentioned in the negative reviews are setting changes that they are unaware that exists.

For newcomers, Madden NFL 19 is a bumpy start for their new favorite hobby, with veterans benefiting from the ongoing uptrend.

For those who enjoy Madden, I think it's definitely worth a buy over the console versions, particularly if EA Sports can fix the jittery over-60fps gameplay. Most of us like the flexibility that PC gaming offers just in the options alone. Once the few bugs are ironed out (including Madden having issues connecting to EA servers, repeatedly), I think the game will be absolutely brilliant. They have made a great attempt at a comeback on PC, it just ends up being marred by some minor glitches which can prove immensely frustrating.

Madden NFL 19 is a fantastic entry into the long-running series. The new Player Movement System and air collision system lead to far more fluent gameplay and animation while MUT comes in better than ever. The MUT challenges are enjoyable and offer a great way to start building your team and a new emphasis on training and chemistry allows for more strategy. New or returning, Madden NFL 19 is a must buy for football fans.
