Lucah: Born of a Dream is a breathtaking adventure filled with well-crafted characterization that doesn't pull any punches in what is otherwise a linear experience. In delivering a very haunting atmosphere with an oftentimes depressing narrative that features multiple endings to unlock. Thanks to its esoteric world design and a satisfying combat system that gives you plenty of room to customize to your liking, this is one game I would highly recommend checking out.

Lucah: Born of a Dream is the type of game that starts off great, but the more someone plays, the more they realize it isn't really so. Combat ultimately is repetitive, the graphics are bad enough that important scenes are lost, and the largest problem is that the 'deep' story is so vague that this becomes an annoyance every time some dark concept is dropped on the player only to never be seen again. To allow a player to finish a sizable play-through and have zero idea on the story is unforgivable.

Sterling hack-and-slash combat meets raw, fractured prose in one of gaming's most essential nightmares. [Eurogamer Recommended]

Looking at promo material, the art gives us a moment of "woah what the hell is that" - it's because this looks so different to what we're used to! However, I promise that once you're in game, everything clicks into place.

The OST is brilliant. The art and movement is amazing. The combat is extremely deep. If you like ARPGs... go for this. If you're worried about difficulty, there are modifiers that allow you to adjust most aspects of the game.
