    The game uses a comfortable Japanese art style, but the battles are quite challenging despite its cute looks.

    Underestimating your foes will lead to troublesome encounters. You must discover enemies' weaknesses and learn the precise time to dodge attacks in order to gain the advantage in combat.    … Expand

    The tone is somewhat akin to a fashion fairy tale, though one that hews a bit closer to the old European legends than the modern Disney variations. Throughout the game it feels like there are darker implications of the world, dancing just beyond the player's comprehension. The few clues we do get through item descriptions and environmental storytelling paint a grim picture. It cultivates a sense of mystery and dread and keeps you plunging deeper and deeper into the castle.

    It’s reductive to suggest Little Witch Nobeta is just you running around, busying yourself between each boss battle, but they are undoubtedly the best part of the game. Its pacing is off, and the base game combat hasn’t got that much going for it, but it’s well worth picking up to test yourself against Little Witch Nobeta’s headline offerings.

    Awesome game!!! A nice souls-like with great combat mechanics. Could’ve been a little longer, but overall a nice experience.

    Incredible depth, stellar story and interesting characters.
    Everything is just so perfectly cute and funny.

    It looks pretty nice on PC considering the very simple graphics and the gameplay can be fun once you get how it works.
    The map is surprisingly well designed, it's interconnected in a way that I frankly did not expect, to be fair, there is only one particularly large somewhat hidden area to explore, but exploring it is very satisfying.

    The enemy variety is not huge but it's pretty good for the length of the game.

    The bosses are unique and they are pretty fun, they are not groundbreaking but they are enjoyable regardless.

    The items and the lore they create makes the game world very interesting, the story in itself isn't particularly deep, though it does have it's nice twists here and there, but does become very interesting and the characters do become more interesting once you read the item descriptions and the mangas.

    Overall it's pretty good, the gameplay is fun, the world is nice, the lore is good, it is somewhat replayable... so I would recommend it.

    Of course, it's an indie game, an indie souls like, so don't expect Elden Ring quality, but for what you pay I think it's worth it.    … Expand

There aren’t any npc’s, just enemies and bosses but that’s fine. The whole game simply looks pretty nice.
    Only con I mind is probably a missing map, or if not a map, then at least some sort of label in menu, how many and what chests you have already opened in current area, if you want to obtain all of the upgrades. Otherwise, you have to wander through all corridors again and again to find chests.

I guess some people may seem it as a plus but I’m just gonna ignore it for the purpose of this review.

    This game is really good and promising even ignoring that. The combat mechanics feel like a genuinely fresh take on soulslike combat since you can charge spells faster by hitting or dodging, it pushes you into a more aggressive and risk-reward playstyle that feels like it truly rewards a player for his skill.

Extremely cheap enemy bosses , input not registering, un dodgable attacks and it just become frustrating and no longer fun...These should clones are all the same, studios without Fromsoftwares balancing skills Butchering the formula, when if they just made a fun action game ballanced to a NORMAL difficulty the game would be much better.… Expand
