Legrand Legacy is a great indie JRPG that brings a lot of cool ideas to the genre. While it has its quirks and definitely bad controls with the keyboard, the gorgeous visuals and gameplay make up for it tenfold.

More importantly, each character has left a lasting impression on me and the growth that they experienced during the story makes the game feel even closer to the timeless stories of early RPGs. Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds expertly brings the PlayStation era RPGs to 2018 with an attention to detail that brings the genre to modern consoles and satisfies that nostalgic itch.

Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds is an enjoyable JRPG which brings back features that are difficult to find in modern games, such as a turn-based combat system enriched by action and tactical elements, mini-games and more. Sadly, SEMISOFT didn't bring anything truly new to the table and, as such, fails in being more than just a well-crafted tribute to the golden era of JRPGs.

I am a fan of classic JRPG, and this game reminds me of old days. Nice graphics, stunning soundtrack. Overall a great game.

I played on EA Play so I basically paying nothing to play it.

From the get-go I notice a LAUGHABLE resolution .jpg of the (I'm assuming) main character. I check my options to make sure I'm not in low quality mode for whatever reason. Nope, just looks like 120p YouTube videos.
I then delved a bit deeper into the options and notice how bad all the options are. I use a widescreen monitor and it renders the game UNPLAYABLE. There's no option for anything higher than 1920x1080 which usually isn't a problem, but for this particular game it cuts off half of the options screen and severely messes up the alignment of where your cursor is. What I mean by this is that the glow around a button was literally an inch or more off of its intended area leaving floating red boxes instead of outlines of my buttons in combat.
This is also not mentioning the plethora of unpolished options such as 3 of EACH resolution (why? I have no idea) that make this not even something that I wanted to invest time into.

Ill be straight forward and tell everyone I didnt get to the meat of the game, but the game is so poorly ported it made me uninstall within the first 30 minutes of TRYING to make it work.

Overall if I had to pay anything for it I would have been appalled
