It's one of the best platformers I've played. It's cute and cosy, the atmosphere is fantastic and the levels are well designed. After you finish official stories there is plenty of fan-made content you can download which makes for hours and hours of gameplay. Expand

While the gameplay andI have completed the main game and and all the official expansions, and I must say that this is a fantastic game. While the gameplay and graphics are basic, the sound creates an amazing atmosphere
which far surpasses the originals. The stories vary but my favourite was one from the a strange dream expansion (collection of niffles' favourite community levels) if I'm remembering correctly in which you go underwater because it has the most engaging and challenging level design and the best atmosphere, but that doesn't mean i didn't love the other story based campaigns, the other ones are a lot weaker, however.

This metroidvania has no combat, satisfactory platforming but remains an outstanding game based on its atmosphere and stories, therefore, I recommend this game to anyone this appeals to but make sure you use headphones in a dark room for best effect.
