DanielNJun 24, 2009This is an amazing game, especially if you like the combination of FPS coop and survival horror. The perk system and rewards are great. Overall, it is not as polished as Left 4 Dead, but the graphics and game play are both excellent. This game gets my heart pumping faster than any other game I've ever played. Definitely an amazing value at $20!

AnonymousMCJun 24, 200974? No its more like 50, way too repetitive, all you do is kill a bunch of zombies, no goals/objectives.The graphics look nice, it doesn't take a good comp to run it, but it gets boring after about 8 hours, i would not even buy it for the cheap price.

JordenPJun 13, 2009About 20x better than Left 4 Dead! This game is the best co-op experience i ever had. I could play this game for hours and never get tired of it. Their is a single-player by the way and its crazy fun! It also has some very good features. Like the slow motion, trading, and giving money away! I LOVE THIS GAME!

AlexWJun 12, 2009Amazing game...Nothing else to say except try it and don't talk down on it if you haven't even played the game because this game doesn't get tiring fast, if you enjoy good gaming then you will be addicted to this game right off the bat.

LunaTJun 11, 2009This game is just plain fun. Its got a decent ok gameplay by yourself but it truly is amazing when it comes to co-op. This game rules and truly stands out by itself. It feels like a good old TD on WC3 in an FPS environment. Left 4 Dead = Point A to Point B Killing Floor = Don't die, kill the boss (Also don't die)

DalekCJun 10, 2009This game is fun at first but then it gets repetitive very fast you just block up the door or run and kill buy some guns and it is survival. Why would the shop trader sell you guns if it's the 'Zombie Apocalypse'. Sure it is a challenge to kill and earn money but come on that's stupid.

FupinoneJun 9, 2009This game makes is so fun it combines the thrill of survival that left 4 dead and the ezp and lvl based play of call of duty into a thrilling survival based game only weakness is that there in no competive based game mode but still this game is great.

DmitriKMay 31, 2009Best co-op experience I've ever had! Played and really enjoyed the mod back in the old days. Quality of the retail release blew my head off. Skip the 3 beers you planned to drink tomorrow and buy THE GAME instead! You won't regret it!!!!

JonathanLMay 31, 2009Original co-op survival game that was developed before and inspired many gameplay aspects that are seen in Left 4 Dead. Countless hours of fun for a low-budget online game.

mattyoMay 28, 2009I have to say an AWESOME game, it is easy as well as hard you can solo it but it would take time and the first round is easy where as the rest are hard, one of the best games i have played. If i had to chose out of KF and L4D; KF is a mile ahead, it is true it is hard to compare them but the fact is what one scares u more what one do you spend your time on and what one do u enjoy to play.

RobBMay 25, 2009A fantastic stand alone release of one of the best mods from any FPS. Killing Floor combines strong co-op gameplay with a perk system that rewards players while sporting a solid array of armaments to keep those nasty monsters at bay. Comparisons with Left 4 Dead are inevitable but I find myself playing this far more than I ever did with L4D.

KyleC.May 25, 2009Killing floor is what you would expect, loads of slow zombies trying to eat your brains while you defend your self with a chainsaw and a few grenades. You can play it all night long and it is so cheap so you could also buy your friend a copy. If your on the edge of buying it and reading though reviews, just get it, you won't regret it!

Awards & Rankings
-
Killing Floor is a zombie game that lacks brain and own ideas. In the main part it's simply a Left 4 Dead clone with boring maps and graphics. But Killing Floor's emphasis on tactical gameplay, the solid coop mode and the cheap prize make the game worth a look.
-
Tripwire Interactives Killing Floor is what you would expect of a polished mod, but doesn't exceed expectations as a retail game. It's good, but unfortunately far from perfect. A nice addition to the survival-horror genre though, and it has an attractively cheap price tag.

While the single-player experience is pretty much non-existent and there are still a large number of bugs that have to be contended with, there's enough of a foundation here for players to enjoy. Hop online and kill monsters for Queen and Country.
