Over 10 hours in a game, not even one crash. Lots of fun activities, lots of mayhem to make.
If You love the series - lots of new and loved stuff to do, if You're new to series - good one to start.
Sure - it has some minor setbacks, few changes comparing to previous games, but none of them will stop You from having fun :)

Just a fun game but could do with some multiplayer and the weather is a great touch but me loving just cause 3 I didn't like the control change for the grappling hook but it is something that will take a bit getting used to. It is just a fun game to play.

Really fun gameplay. Lots of side missions to unlock upgrades, plenty of vehicles/supply drops. The various grappling hook mods are so much fun to use. The cutscenes look bad, but apart from that, the game is quite stunning. The plot is nothing special.

In 2020, this game is OK. While the graphics are somewhat lacking, I find this game very fun and the story is nice. I've only had one crash in this game, and mild performance drops. The vehicle physics are pretty bad, and all in all I would not spend $60 on this game. However, I would recommend it for a lower price (I got it for free on epic games).

I started playing the Reloaded edition of this game because it was released as part of my Game Pass subscription. The fun factor is MASSIVE, the graphics are decent at maximum settings, the PC port is poor.

PROS: + South American Tom Cruise simulator! + Endless fun with the Grappling Hook that ties any two objects together + You can tie an enemy to a fuel tank, retract the connection
I started playing the Reloaded edition of this game because it was released as part of my Game Pass subscription. The fun factor is MASSIVE, the graphics are decent at maximum settings, the PC port is poor.

    PROS:
+ South American Tom Cruise simulator!
+ Endless fun with the Grappling Hook that ties any two objects together
+ You can tie an enemy to a fuel tank, retract the connection with high force, and watch the enemy die in a blaze of fire
+ Constant ground and aerial skirmishes are happening between the friendly and enemy faction, which you can take part or simply observe
+ Traverse the beautiful landscape by hitching a ride on the roof of a car, or flying over the mountains in your wingsuit
+ You're almost always airborne in your wingsuit
+ Very hectic action combat; it's not unusual to be attacked by over a dozen enemies at the same time
+ The tools at your disposal and the huge number of explosions really do make you feel like a South American Tom Cruise
    + GTA-like talk radio station

    CONS:
    - PC control scheme seems like it was done by an intern who had never turned on a computer in his life. You WILL struggle to navigate the menus.
    - Some menus appear offscreen on an ultrawide monitor, and therefore cannot be clicked unless you change resolution
    - Cutscenes are rendered at low-resolution
    - Enemy soldiers have no sense of self-preservation and will pellet your armored tank with their machine gun while standing in the middle of the road
    - Easy if you play smart. The game clearly wants you to be deep in the center of action and explosions

I have not experienced any crashes or glaring graphical issues such as pop-in, though I am playing the Reloaded version of this game on a newly built gaming PC in November 2021. I do wish the PC controls for the menus weren't completely nonsensical, and I wish the AI at least TRIED to stay alive. But the game does make up for these shortcomings with a huge amount of sheer fun factor.

Not worth full price. But definitely worth getting it for cheap or on Game Pass.

I personally kinda like having the “super strength” and being a bullet sponge. I know it’s gets rid of realism, but I prefer not dying a lot and being able to survive things that should kill me. I mean I don’t play Just Cause for realism, I play it for the amazing mobility, epic explosions, vehicles, and beautiful world. So story and gunplay weren’t as important to me personally. It’s a game I can just launch and mess around in for an hour or so and never really get bored. Expand

I am playing JC4 from a month and its about to end. I played at 4K on my RTX 3080 Ti. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous (albeit some cutscenes are really bad thou). The wingsuit flying is brilliant (miss launching from standstill as in JC3). I am loving this game its so much fun. Its a must have if you get cheaper and have hardware to run it at 4K. Just play it and get done with it.

Quindi sicuramente un bel 7 ... che diventa 8 per aumentare la media incompresibile solo il 7 ... . I giochi non tutti sono e devono essere perfetti e super in ogni componente, l'obiettivo rimane divertire e lo fa. Expand

The ending serves as a bridge to a possible 5th installment, but it’s going to be just as bad unless the developers reinvent the series. The "entertain yourself" approach to the open world ran out of steam a long time ago, campaign missions are going downhill fast, and the amount of bugs has skyrocketed.

When designing a new game in a long-running franchise, the developers face a fundamental question: go with the tried-and-true or risk trying something new? In this case the former approach was chosen and it was the right decision, because JC4 is as enjoyable as its predecessors. It has some obvious flaws (e.g. uneven visuals and some repetitive mission types) but they are easily outweighed by incredibly fun gameplay. It is simply a well-made, thrilling open world game. This entry in the Just Cause series has taken itself too seriously, sucking the fun out of what should be a blast.
